Interview Marlon Wayan
Transcript
00:00It's been 25 years since Requiem for a Dream came out.
00:03Damn, my bad. That's crazy.
00:06You know what's crazy? I still look like I did 25 years ago.
00:10Full credit to you, man.
00:11You know what I mean? I mean, I cut it low, but...
00:13Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
00:15That movie I have not actually seen in 25 years because I could only see it one time.
00:18I've seen it one time and I was in it.
00:19I was going to ask, like, can you actually see it again?
00:21I've never seen that movie again because it was like a PSA.
00:24I just felt so... I don't know. I felt dirty after I did the movie.
00:29I just felt like I need to call my mama.
00:30I need to never do drugs again.
00:33Like, it changed my life and I've only seen that movie one time.
00:38But it was a great movie.
00:39Absolutely. 100% a great movie.
00:40This one I can watch over and over again because I feel like it's a perfect length.
00:44Yeah.
00:45And at the end, although it has similarities in Requiem,
00:49you start out with these characters, you go on this ride
00:51and they have all these hopes and these dreams
00:52and then it goes crashing down.
00:55And just when you're about to hit the ground, like in Requiem,
00:57it went through the ground and straight to hell.
01:00This one got close to the ground and then made a twist
01:02and found back up to the light and you go off to ride
01:05and you're like, oh my God, let's do that again.
