Astronauts heading to the Moon for the first time in more than 50 years are currently more than 100,000 miles (160,930 kilometres) from Earth and in “good spirits”, according to Nasa officials.Giving an update on the 10-day Artemis II mission, agency executives said the crew had a further 150,000 miles (241,400 kilometres) to travel to reach their destination for a lunar flyby that will take them deeper into space than anyone has gone before.
