The U.S.-Iran conflict is reaching new heights of danger — and the skies over Iran have become a deadly battleground.

Earlier today, Iranian state media, including Mehr News Agency, reported that a U.S. helicopter was struck by an Iranian projectile while conducting a search-and-rescue mission for a downed fighter jet pilot — reportedly from a stealth F-35 or possibly an F-15E Strike Eagle.

This wasn’t just any operation. American forces reportedly deployed a multi-aircraft team, including UH-60 Black Hawks, C-130 Hercules, and even drones, to recover the pilot after the jet was allegedly shot down over central or southwestern Iran.
