00:00:00How do you take a story that millions of people already know by heart and make them feel like
00:00:04they're experiencing it for the first time? That's not a simple question. Because when you
00:00:09adapt something as beloved as one piece, you're not just telling a story. You're making a promise.
00:00:15A promise to every person who grew up with these characters, who cried at these moments,
00:00:19who carried this world with them through different chapters of their own life,
00:00:22and season two of the live action. It doesn't just attempt to keep that promise.
00:00:27It reaches for something deeper. What fascinates me most isn't the spectacle. It's the weight.
00:00:33The way certain scenes land differently when you're watching real human faces carry emotions
00:00:38that used to live in ink and color. There's something almost strange about it. Something
00:00:42that forces you to ask, what does this story actually mean? Not what happens. But what it
00:00:48means. And that's what we're here to explore today. My name is Mipax, and before we dive in,
00:00:53I have to take a second for the people who make this channel worth showing up for.
00:00:57To my YouTube members, Zachary Brewer, Yumnam Renubala, Teth Xchik, Petch the Nepensohnvi,
00:01:04and Antonia Sadiociana. Thank you. Genuinely. And to my Patreon supporter,
00:01:11Biaschiznar4, your support keeps this going more than you know. If you haven't seen my season one
00:01:16live action breakdown yet, that link is sitting in the description. Go watch that first. It sets the
00:01:21foundation for everything we're about to get into. But if you're ready, today we're covering
00:01:25the complete story of One Piece live action season two. The story kicks off right where we left those
00:01:30two losers who got absolutely wrecked by Nami and Luffy while trying to steal a Grand Line map
00:01:34in season one. Meanwhile, furry pirates from the notorious Baroque Works organization are
00:01:40currently laying waste to the marine base in Shell's town, leaving everything in total shambles.
00:01:45The remaining soldiers are frantically running for cover to escape their wrath, but then one of the
00:01:50pirates makes an entrance. A woman named Sunday, accompanied by her flowers. But these aren't
00:01:55just any flowers, my friend. They allow her to sprout hands wherever she pleases. She walks toward
00:02:00them with absolute confidence, completely unfazed by anyone trying to attack her. Anyone who gets
00:02:05close enough finds her hands sprouting on them, taking them down before she even touches them.
00:02:10She walks up to the last surviving soldier and coldly asks,
00:02:13Where do you keep the dead? This is because they are looking for a member of their crew specifically,
00:02:18Mr. Seven from the Baroque Works organization. Just a quick reminder for you. Zoro actually killed Mr.
00:02:24Seven back in the first part because he tried to recruit Zoro into their organization. Zoro flatly
00:02:28refused and took him out instead. So, the big question is, what are they going to do to Zoro now?
00:02:34Can he hold his own against them, or is he in trouble? We're about to find all that out as
00:02:39we
00:02:39continue. They eventually squeeze the info out of the last marine as Zoro is headed for the Grand Line
00:02:43with his captain Luffy. Life on Luffy's ship is as eccentric as you'd expect. Sanji is busy
00:02:49whipping up meals while Usopp is busy wasting all the spices to make his ridiculous bombs.
00:02:54Meanwhile, Nami is locked in, focusing entirely. She's studying the Grand Line map to figure out the
00:02:59path to the One Piece treasure. Sanji suggests they should do some shopping before entering the
00:03:03dangerous Grand Line, especially since Luffy has a bottomless pit for his stomach and they need extra
00:03:09food. Usopp hates the idea and complains to Zoro, asking if he's really okay with this childish
00:03:14shopping trip. Zoro actually agrees with Sanji saying he needs two more swords since he's currently
00:03:19down to only one. Usopp gives up on Zoro and decides to talk to the captain instead. He tells
00:03:24Luffy they want to head to Logetown, a place known for being incredibly dangerous, just to go shopping.
00:03:31Luffy initially refuses because he just wants to hit the Grand Line. He's eager to find the One Piece,
00:03:36but Nami mentions that the legendary pirate king, Gold Roger, was actually executed in Lobetown.
00:03:41Suddenly, Luffy is hyped to see the very spot where the king met his end. He immediately orders
00:03:46the crew to head there. Flashback to the past, right when Roger was about to face the scaffold.
00:03:51The crowd gathered there was massive, swarming like a colony of ants. Inside the prison cell,
00:03:56Vice Admiral Gar paid a final visit to his old rival. These two legendary figures had spent countless
00:04:02years playing a tiring game of cat and mouse across the oceans. This time, Garp came to deliver the
00:04:07news regarding the official end of the pirate king's era. Even with death looming over him,
00:04:12Roger managed to ask Garp for one final favor to raise his infant son. He insisted that the
00:04:18child shouldn't be held responsible or bear any guilt just because his father happened to be the
00:04:22king of the pirates. He knew deep down that Garp was fundamentally a good man. After hearing the
00:04:28request, Garp put on a grumpy face as usual, but in his heart, he silently accepted the responsibility.
00:04:34For now, let's get back to Luffy as he enters Logetown, a place crawling with wicked pirates.
00:04:39It's known as the city of the beginning and the end for the pirate world, where the whole One Piece
00:04:43legend started. Nami hands out some money to everyone. She tells them to go buy whatever they want,
00:04:48but warns them to stay alert because the marines are literally everywhere in this town.
00:04:52While they're distracted, they don't notice that someone is watching their every move from a distance.
00:04:56Shortly after, the terrifying Captain Smoker of the marines arrives, a man who has half the pirates
00:05:02in the world crying in fear. He arrives dragging a pathetic pirate to be locked up and immediately
00:05:07asks for someone named Tashigi. His soldier says he hasn't seen her all day. Smoker warns him that the
00:05:13town is starting to attract too many pirates and tells them to stay sharp while he goes on a patrol
00:05:17to
00:05:17see if he can find any other scum to throw in a cell. During this time, Nami is completely absorbed
00:05:22in examining some world map books. Seeing her passion, Usopp pipes up with some encouragement,
00:05:28suggesting that one day she will be the one to personally draw an entire map of the world all
00:05:33by herself. Nami is absolutely delighted to hear that. She encourages Usopp that he should also do
00:05:38something special for himself, perhaps something related to his hometown and loved ones. A specific
00:05:44name immediately flashes in Usopp's mind. Without wasting a second, he grabs a transponder snail to make
00:05:49a call back home to talk to Kaeya. At the same time, the perpetually lost Zoro is wandering around
00:05:55looking for a sword shop when he accidentally bumps into a young woman. The moment he sees her face,
00:05:59Zoro completely freezes for about 5 seconds. So, here's the deal. This Tashigi girl looks exactly
00:06:05like Kuina, the girls Zoro used to train with when they were kids. She offers to help him find his
00:06:11way,
00:06:11thinking he might be lost. To avoid dwelling on painful memories, Zoro brushes it off and continues to the
00:06:16sword shop. Once inside, he shows the owner his cash and asks how many swords that'll get him.
00:06:22The shopkeeper dismissively tells him that's only enough for a kitchen knife, telling him to get
00:06:27lost. Just as Zoro is about to leave, the owner catches a glimpse of the sword he's already carrying
00:06:32and asks to see it. When he unsheathes it, he's absolutely blown away by its quality. He tries to
00:06:37scam Zoro out of it, offering him a huge pile of money or even three other swords in exchange for
00:06:42that
00:06:42one blade. Zoro refuses instantly because that sword is incredibly precious. It belonged to Koina
00:06:48before she passed away. Right then, Tashigi walks in, absolutely geeking out because she recognizes
00:06:54the blade as a legendary, one-of-a-kind treasure, worth at least a million berries at a minimum.
00:07:01Now that the owner has been caught in his lie, his face falls because he just missed out on a
00:07:06huge
00:07:06profit. Taking advantage of this lucky break, Zoro asks the living Encyclopedia Tashigi for her advice
00:07:13on picking out new gear and she happily agrees to help. A bit later, Zoro's attention is caught by
00:07:19a mysterious black blade. Tashigi immediately rushes over to warn him that it's a cursed sword
00:07:24and anyone who dares to use it will eventually meet a tragic end. The shop owner is also breaking
00:07:29out in a cold sweat, advising Zoro to just leave it alone and pick something safe. But our guy Zoro
00:07:35isn't
00:07:36the type to be scared of anything, ever. He boldly declares that he wants to see if the sword's curse
00:07:41is stronger or if his own luck is greater. With that, he tosses the blade high into the air and
00:07:48holds
00:07:48his bare arm straight out to catch it. It's a heart-stopping moment for both the onlookers and the
00:07:53shopkeeper. Swoosh! The sword falls and plunges straight, into the floorboards, landing right next
00:07:59to his arm without even grazing a single hair. That's some serious conviction right there.
00:08:04Zoro decides to take the cursed black sword immediately and tells the owner to grab one
00:08:09more so he can complete his set. Elsewhere, Luffy and Sanji are busy scouring the market area for food
00:08:14supplies. Once they have enough, Luffy splits off from the group and goes running around trying to
00:08:19find that old execution square. By pure coincidence, Nami bumps into a guy with a rooster head hairstyle
00:08:24named Bartolomeo. With her world-class thieving skills, Nami swiftly swipes his entire wallet without
00:08:30him noticing a thing. Meanwhile, back at the sword shop, everyone is witnessing a legendary
00:08:35test of Zoro's incredible character and resolve. The shop owner is now completely won over and full
00:08:40of respect. He brings out a treasure of the shop, one of the 50 finest blades in the world,
00:08:45and gives it to Zoro for absolutely nothing. He nods in admiration, remarking that the sword
00:08:50itself has clearly chosen its rightful master. Just like that, Zoro ends up with a collection of
00:08:55top-tier equipment. Zoro now has his full set of three swords. He thanks the lovely Tashigi and
00:09:01walks out of the store looking like a total badass. As night starts to fall, the naive Luffy is still
00:09:06wandering around searching for the execution site when Bartolomeo approaches him, offering to act as
00:09:11a guide. In reality, the guy is just drooling over the thought of Luffy's massive bounty and isn't being
00:09:16helpful at all. He leads Luffy to a nearby circus, and oh boy, Luffy falls right into a giant trap
00:09:22set by
00:09:22Buggy. And it's not just Buggy the Clown there. He's joined by the formidable Alvida as well.
00:09:27When Luffy sees his two former enemies working together, his eyes go wide in total shock.
00:09:32Alvida is still nursing a deep grudge against the kid. Because he wrecked her ship in the past,
00:09:37she swore to make him pay back every bit of that debt with interest. Without wasting words, Luffy
00:09:42immediately launches a powerful Gomu Gomu no pistol right at his opponent's face. But weirdly enough,
00:09:48the moment his fist makes contact with her, it just slides right off harmlessly.
00:09:51It turns out Alvida has eaten the Subei Subei no Mi Devil Fruit. She now automatically deflects any
00:09:57and all physical attacks directed at her. Taking advantage of Luffy's confusion, Alvida uses her
00:10:02power to send him flying back. Buggy seizes the opportunity to slap a pair of special Sea Prism
00:10:07Stone handcuffs on him, instantly neutralizing his Devil Fruit powers. Now, this villainous duo is ready
00:10:13to take their revenge on our main character. At that very same moment, the big boss. Smoker receives
00:10:18intelligence that pirates are causing absolute chaos in the city. He immediately calls his
00:10:23assistant Tashigi to gear up and head out to restore order. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew
00:10:28gathers together and finally realizes that their captain is missing. With no other choice,
00:10:33they start racing around at full speed to find him. It turns out they were right to worry. Over at
00:10:38the
00:10:38circus, the villainous pair is holding a mock trial of their own making to judge Luffy. The death
00:10:43sentence is quickly handed down. All their subordinates break out into a roar of applause,
00:10:47cheering for the execution. Right at the most critical moment, Luffy's loyal crew members arrive
00:10:52on the scene just in time. Alvida's henchmen charge forward, and the two sides clash in an intense
00:10:57battle. Nami and Usopp combine their high IQ tactics, throwing specialized bombs that manage to bypass
00:11:03Alvida's slippery defense, leaving her completely overwhelmed and defeated. In the middle of the melee,
00:11:08the marines also arrive to shut things down. Tashigi takes one look and immediately realizes that Zoro
00:11:13is actually a high-profile pirate after all. Up on top of the execution platform, Buggy has Luffy
00:11:19tightly bound and is holding a sword to his throat, asking if he has any final words before he leaves
00:11:24this world for good. Luffy takes a deep, steady breath and shouts out at the top of his lungs that
00:11:29he will find the One Piece and become the king of the pirates. Even facing death, he manages to give
00:11:34a
00:11:34wide, iconic grin, apologizing to his crew because he won't be able to continue the journey with them.
00:11:40That legendary smile completely shocks Smoker's psyche, reminding him instantly of the legendary
00:11:45Roger from years ago. Just as the blade is about to fall, a massive, colossal bolt of lightning
00:11:50strikes down from the heavens right onto Buggy, completely destroying the execution platform in
00:11:55the process. Luffy falls to the ground, surviving by a miracle while Bartolomeo watches in absolute
00:12:00disbelief. After that, he quickly reunites with his friends and they start running away as fast as
00:12:05their legs can carry them. While retreating, Zoro is cut off by Tashigi. She is absolutely fuming
00:12:12because she realized she accidentally helped a pirate obtain some incredibly powerful swords.
00:12:16Without another word, the two of them engage in a fierce duel. At first, Zoro holds back and stays on
00:12:22the defensive, but with just a few basic moves he easily defeats Tashigi. He then turns his back and
00:12:27walks away. On another part of the battlefield, Luffy and Sanji are facing off against Smoker.
00:12:32The two of them charge in with everything they've got to attack him, but Sanji is quickly taken out
00:12:38of the fight. An angry Luffy launches a flurry of punches at Smoker's face, but unfortunately,
00:12:43the captain has a Logia-type devil fruit that turns his body into intangible smoke.
00:12:47Physical hits are as harmless as a light breeze to him. Turning the tables, Smoker uses his smoke to
00:12:53pummel Luffy and then pins him firmly to the ground. He tells Luffy that his life isn't even
00:12:58worth his bounty before preparing to finish him off. Just as things look completely hopeless,
00:13:02a mysterious man suddenly appears and stops Smoker's killing blow in its tracks. He declares
00:13:07that the boy's time hasn't come to an end yet, and then he vanishes along with Smoker. Sanji rushes
00:13:12over to pull Luffy up and both of them were totally confused, having no idea what mysterious force
00:13:16just saved them. They decide to just focus on escaping back to the ship for now. From a distance,
00:13:21the mysterious man watches the ship depart with a satisfied smirk, feeling content because Luffy
00:13:26is finally starting to look like a true pirate. That night in a local bar, Tashige is still sulking
00:13:31over her defeat at Zoro's hands. Suddenly, the beautiful Robin glides over and speaks to her
00:13:37with sweet words. Ignoring Tashige's cold attitude, Robin begins to shower her with praise for her
00:13:43intelligence and skills, and then drops a business card, inviting her to join the Baroque Works
00:13:48organization. The moment the bar door opens and Smoker walks in, Robin has already vanished without
00:13:54a trace. Smoker is absolutely furious right now because Luffy managed to slip through his fingers.
00:13:59He begins to visualize the image of Roger again, realizing with a click of his tongue that these
00:14:03two are cut from the very same cloth. Ever since Roger's death, knowledge of the One Piece has spread
00:14:09everywhere, flooding the world with new pirates. Smoker is determined not to let some rookie like Luffy
00:14:14inherit the Pirate King's will. He decides he's going to head straight into the Grand Line to tear
00:14:19out the problem by its roots. By the time the next morning rolled around, Luffy and his crew had
00:14:24successfully navigated their ship to the very foot of Reverse Mountain, the iconic and intimidating
00:14:29gateway that marks the official starting point for any pirate daring enough to enter the treacherous
00:14:34waters of the Grand Line. The entire team is fired up and ready to go, full of energy and bloodlust,
00:14:39prepared to face whatever storms lie ahead. Not long after setting sail, they luckily manage to
00:14:45cross over the mountain range. However, what greets them on the other side is the massive gaping mouth
00:14:50of a giant whale. When Luffy finally wakes up, he finds himself lying alone on the shore. It turns out
00:14:57that thanks to some classic protagonist luck, he was thrown clear, while his friends weren't as fortunate.
00:15:02Just as he's feeling completely lost and unsure of how to handle a situation, he encounters the
00:15:07lighthouse keeper who shows off some incredible skills. The old man lands a tranquilizer dart with
00:15:12pinpoint accuracy from a distance, knocking out the massive whale in a single heartbeat.
00:15:16After that's done, he turns to Luffy and advises him that his crew is likely long gone,
00:15:21so he should stop dreaming and just accept reality. Naturally, Luffy says no way. He stubbornly insists on
00:15:28getting his friends out and starts pestering the old man to spill the beans on the history of this
00:15:32enormous whale. Realizing he can't get rid of the annoying kid, the old man gives in and tells him
00:15:37a heartbreaking story. It turns out he's been guarding this lighthouse for years and hasn't
00:15:41really liked anyone. Neither people nor animals usually take a liking to him. That was until one
00:15:47day when the rumbar pirates stopped by. This crew was a bunch of party animals who were always singing
00:15:52and making music, and they even had a baby whale named Laboon following them. Little Laboon was lonely
00:15:57and found their music so captivating that he just kept following them until he eventually became a
00:16:02core member of their crew. Their leader, Yorkie, cherished Laboon like a precious treasure and was
00:16:07ready to protect him at all costs. But the old man knew all too well that the monster-infested
00:16:11Grand Line was no place for a young defenseless whale. After being convinced, Yorkie decided to leave
00:16:17Laboon in the old man's care while the crew ventured into the Grand Line. Before departing,
00:16:22they promised they would return soon to pick him up, but as they say, life is full of unexpected twists.
00:16:27Rumors began to circulate that the entire crew had perished, but Laboon stubbornly refused to
00:16:33believe the news. Day after day, he would slam his head against the cliffside, determined to break
00:16:38through the mountain and swim into the Grand Line to find his friends. If the old man didn't use
00:16:43tranquilizers on him every day, the whale would have probably killed himself with his stubbornness long
00:16:48ago. However, because of the frequent doses, Laboon is starting to build a tolerance and the medicine
00:16:54isn't as effective anymore. Hearing this, Luffy is moved to tears, and says there must be a way to
00:16:59knock some sense into him, so he can finally face the truth. The old man finds Luffy's comment annoying
00:17:05and fires back, telling him to look at himself since he can't even accept that his own crew is gone.
00:17:10Meanwhile, Nami's group is still very much alive inside Laboon's stomach, working hard to find an
00:17:15exit. Usopp gets a bright idea believing that inside a whale that swallows ships, there must be some useful
00:17:21equipment lying around. So the long-nosed sniper drags Sanji off to scavenge for loot,
00:17:26weaving Zoro and Nami to brainstorm an escape plan. Zoro plans to use a harpoon he just put
00:17:31together to poke a sensitive spot on Laboon to make him sneeze, hoping they can fly out in the
00:17:36process. Nami doesn't think that's a very smart idea. While they're arguing, a woman calling herself
00:17:41Miss Wednesday suddenly appears and swipes Nami's compass. At first she acts all arrogant and superior,
00:17:47but unfortunately for her, she is quickly intercepted by Sanji and Usopp. The two of them
00:17:52even manage to capture her partner as well. It turns out these two were plotting to steal the
00:17:56going Mary to make their own getaway. Things just got serious. The crew ties the pair up for
00:18:01interrogation. Seeing their arrogant and boastful attitude about their powers, Zoro immediately
00:18:07senses something familiar about them. As it happens, in the past he encountered a guy named Mr. Seven who
00:18:12tried to recruit him into a shady organization called Baroque Works. Since he wasn't interested,
00:18:17Zoro just went ahead and sliced the guy in half. And now he's looking at Miss Wednesday with that same
00:18:21exact look of contempt. Zoro decides it's best to just toss them into the acid lake in the whale's
00:18:27stomach and be done with it. But Nami quickly stops him, knowing that Luffy wouldn't approve of such a
00:18:32cold-blooded move. Even though Nami just saved her life, Miss Wednesday stays true to her character and
00:18:37starts mocking Nami for clinging to such a useless, basic compass. She laughs sarcastically and decides
00:18:43to give them a quick lesson. In the Grand Lime, the magnetic fields are so chaotic that normal
00:18:48compasses are complete garbage. To survive here, you need a specialized tool called a log pose.
00:18:53Seeing that this amateur pirate crew lacks any decent gear and doesn't even know what a log pose is,
00:18:58Wednesday breaks into uncontrollable laughter. Just as the tension is peak drama, Giant Laboon starts
00:19:03waking up from the drugs. The massive whale thrashes around violently, causing the entire ship to shake
00:19:09and everyone to go tumbling. But in that life-or-death moment, even though she has a big mouth,
00:19:14Miss Wednesday who looks tough actually ends up accidentally helping the group. Or at the very
00:19:19least, she manages to pull Usup back and save his life. Outside, Luffy initially tries to act all tough
00:19:24and aggressive, shouting at the top of his lungs at Laboon. But when he sees the massive whale doesn't even
00:19:30blink, he immediately switches his strategy. He clears his throat and starts loudly singing
00:19:34the exact same favorite song that Laboon's old pirate crew used to sing. Surprisingly,
00:19:39this psychological tactic worked wonders. Seeing Laboon starting to soften up and look at him,
00:19:44Luffy seizes the chance to use his talk no jutsu, watching into a deep lecture about how in this life,
00:19:51meetings are a matter of fate, people come and go, but there will always be those who choose to stay
00:19:55by her side. Ending his speech, Luffy begs the whale to spit his friends back out, and surprisingly,
00:20:01Laboon obediently complies. The Going Mary is successfully back in the water, with the added
00:20:06bonus of two unwanted tagalongs. Before they set sail again, the whole crew throws a little farewell
00:20:11lunch with the old man. Nami and the others tell Luffy about catching the two prisoners. At the same
00:20:16time, Nami complains about how messed up the Grand Line's magnetic fields are. Their normal compass is
00:20:22useless and the crew is completely unprepared. Unexpectedly, the generous old man sponsors
00:20:26them with the high-quality log pose navigation tool that Nami so desperately needs. After that,
00:20:32and before they continue on their journey, Luffy shows off his artistic skills by painting a giant
00:20:37straw hat pirate logo right on Laboon's scarred forehead. He warns the whale not to bash his head
00:20:42into rocks anymore, or he'll ruin that awesome new tattoo, and he'll have to live with the consequences.
00:20:47They promise to return for him eventually. After a tearful goodbye,
00:20:51the crew sets sail with pride to continue their epic adventure. Once the ship is out of sight,
00:20:55the old man pulls out a photo of the former king, Roger, for a quiet chat. He thinks that maybe
00:21:00this
00:21:01kid is the chosen one they've been searching for. The one who might finally be able to claim the One
00:21:05Piece for himself. Switching over to the Marines, Smoker is absolutely dying to chase after Luffy,
00:21:11but he's bogged down by annoying red tape and administrative procedures. Entering the Grand
00:21:15Line requires permission from the big boss, Garp. Toshigi hesitantly reminds him about his authority,
00:21:20but Smoker just replies, rules are nothing to me, I don't give a damn.
00:21:24As soon as he finishes speaking, Vice Admiral Garp arrives at Logetown along with the two rookies,
00:21:29Kobe and Homeppo, to have a discussion. The two of them get into a heated verbal sparring match over
00:21:35whether to pursue Luffy. When Garp hears Smoker compare Luffy to Roger, he just dismisses it
00:21:41immediately. Smoker insists, you weren't there, you don't know. That brat has the exact same aura as
00:21:47Roger. I know you're just being soft on your grandson, though. Garp cuts him off right then
00:21:51and there, telling him he's still far too inexperienced. He smoothly explains that a trashy
00:21:56pirate ship could never climb mountains as efficiently as a top-tier Marine vessel.
00:22:00They'd probably sink before even reaching the Grand Line. To summarize, the Straw Hat crew is nothing
00:22:06more than tiny specks of dust right now. The Marines have bigger headaches, like the Kingdom of Arabasta
00:22:11being on the brink of a brutal civil war. Their princess has vanished without a trace, too. On
00:22:16top of that, the Revolutionary Army is rapidly recruiting new members and making moves to overthrow
00:22:21the entire world government. But even that isn't the main issue. Garp came all the way here to give
00:22:27Smoker a new mission. He needs to get moving and hunt down the dark organization known as Baroque Works.
00:22:32This group has its tentacles spreading across every sea, including the Grand Line, and they recently
00:22:37ambushed and completely destroyed the Shellstown outpost. This organization is so secretive that
00:22:42the Marines haven't managed to catch a single member yet. Their big boss goes by the name Mr.
00:22:46Zero, but what he looks like remains a massive mystery. While they're in their private meeting,
00:22:50an eavesdropping Tashigi bursts into the room. Just as she looks at the projector screen,
00:22:55she's horrified to recognize the beautiful Robin who tried to lure her at the bar the other day.
00:23:00Discovering the connection to Baroque Works, Tashigi decides to stay quiet, keeping the information to
00:23:05herself and not saying a single word to Smoker or Gart. By the end of the meeting, Garp gives the
00:23:11order that they must quickly apprehend one Baroque Works member before they manage to tear apart any
00:23:15more of their bases. After receiving the orders, Smoker plans to leave immediately and tells Tashigi to
00:23:21stay behind and behave herself in Lobetown. But no, she's a different person now. After absorbing some
00:23:26wisdom from Helmepo and Kobe, Tashigi realizes that blindly following orders is for losers. And a real
00:23:32Marine has to play by their own rules. She shouts back at her boss, I'm not staying.
00:23:37I have my own targets to hunt down. I swear I'll recover that masterpiece of a sword.
00:23:42From his hands and from anyone else who is worthy of carrying a blade. You'd think Smoker would tear
00:23:47into her for that. But instead, he just nods in approval and lets her come aboard the ship.
00:23:51Returning to the Strawhack crew, Mr. Nine is being so moody and aggressive that the entire crew is just
00:23:56ignoring him, focusing on Miss Wednesday instead. Even though Wednesday's being all defensive,
00:24:01Luffy just wants to get to know what kind of person she really is. After some casual chatting,
00:24:06he concludes that she doesn't seem dangerous at all. No sooner said than done, he decides to make
00:24:10a completely wild decision to untie her and set her free right then and there. The whole crew freaks
00:24:16out and starts arguing loudly with him, their guard higher than ever. But once Luffy makes up his mind,
00:24:21there's absolutely no stopping him, right in the middle of their noisy argument. Everyone's heart
00:24:26skips a beat because of the appearance of Cactus Island. Mr. Nine and Miss Wednesday seize the golden
00:24:31opportunity to dive overboard into the water and disappear. As soon as the Strawhack crew sets foot
00:24:36in the small town, they are immediately greeted with suspicious glares and hostile looks from a
00:24:40local residence. Just when they think trouble is brewing, Mayor Egoram pops out of nowhere. He says
00:24:46something that totally shocks the crew. We actually love pirates here because this is the first stop for
00:24:50rookies right at the entrance of the Grand Line. The townspeople realize that it's much better to
00:24:55throw a party and serve the ocean's outlaws than to stubbornly resist and have their homes destroyed.
00:25:01After that, Egoram takes over as their guide and leads them on a tour through the streets,
00:25:05where they happen to run into a nun. She lets a little taunt slip, saying she hopes his group is
00:25:10more fun than the Tulip Pirates who were here before. His curiosity peaked. Usa quickly asks if the Tulip
00:25:16Pirates are still hanging around the island. Egoram immediately waves off the question to
00:25:20cover it up. Right then, the dinner bell rings, and the villagers lay out a massive, luxurious feast
00:25:25for the pirates. The cost is dirt cheap all they have to do is sit and tell some stories in
00:25:30exchange
00:25:30for food. Who could possibly turn down such a great deal? The entire crew heads straight into the
00:25:35tavern. Usa takes the chance to tell some absolutely wild tall tales. Luffy is raising his glass and
00:25:41partying hard in the bar to enjoy himself. The only one who doesn't fit in with the comedy show is
00:25:45the
00:25:45dead serious Zoro. Our Mosshead friend's face is all grumpy and full of killing intent,
00:25:50mostly due to the lingering psychological impact of meeting his idol Mihawk. Seeing this, Luffy claps
00:25:56him on the shoulder to comfort him, saying there will be plenty of opponents to test his skills
00:26:00against on the road ahead. While they're partying hard, Luffy suddenly gets a craving for sweets.
00:26:05He remembers, spotting a bakery while they were walking earlier, so he sneaks away from the table.
00:26:10Just as he's stuffing his face with a pastry, Mayor Igaram looms up in front of him. Luffy,
00:26:16with his mouth full, assures him he'll pay the bill and won't skip out. But Igaram flips his
00:26:21personality faster than a pancake, and tells him he doesn't care about some petty change. He flashes
00:26:26a wicked smile and delivers a lecture about how you should never trust anyone. Rewinding a bit,
00:26:31earlier Luffy had warned Igaram that two assassins would be washing up on the island. At the time,
00:26:37the old man acted all clueless and surprised, but in reality, he is a high-ranking agent of the Dark
00:26:42Baroque Works organization. Just as he's threatening Luffy, Miss Wednesday shows her face from behind
00:26:47him. The two of him combine their powers for a sleep-inducing attack. Igaram plays a tune on his
00:26:53musical instrument while Miss Wednesday performs a seductive, hip-shaking dance, which successfully
00:26:58knocks the naive Luffy right out. However, he's not alone, because on the other side, both Sanji and
00:27:03Usopp have also fallen victim to a honey trap technique. Meanwhile, Nami is busy in a drinking
00:27:09contest with a nun. With her legendary tolerance, Nami obviously crushes her opponent. Looking out
00:27:14the window, our boss lady spots a mountain that looks pretty interesting, so she decides to head
00:27:18over and check it out. The drunken nun rambles on about how dangerous that place is, but as the
00:27:23saying goes, the more you forbid something, the more people want to do it. Nami is itching to visit and
00:27:28check it out no matter what. And just as expected, once she arrives, Nami realizes the whole area is
00:27:34just one giant trap. Right as things looked bleak, a bizarre and totally unfamiliar voice called out
00:27:39from behind her. It was that creepy local grave digger. After she expertly delivered a few solid
00:27:44thumps to his head to knock some sense into him, she scrambled back toward the tavern to sound the
00:27:49alarm for the rest of the crew. Along the way, she practically tripped over Zorro, who was busy
00:27:54showing off his swordsmanship in the middle of the path. The two of them. They shared a quick look
00:27:58and instantly realized the terrifying truth. This entire town was nothing more than a stage
00:28:03filled with actors working for the Baroque Works organization. Nami immediately sprang into action,
00:28:08formulating a tactical plan on the fly. She decided to track down Luffy and get the
00:28:12going Mary's engine roaring for a quick getaway, while our favorite moss-headed swordsman was tasked
00:28:17with rounding up Usopp and Sanju to get them back to the ship. Once their roles were settled,
00:28:21Zorro gripped his katanas and marched straight into the bar with intent. As soon as he swung the doors
00:28:26open, he spotted Mr. Nine striking a dramatic pose, clearly waiting for a confrontation. This was
00:28:32exactly the kind of stage Zorro had been itching for, and he was more than ready to let loose and
00:28:36start the real party. Mr. Nine was suffering from a massive case of overconfidence, naively believing
00:28:42that with a hundred to one advantage he could win this with his eyes closed. Unfortunately for him,
00:28:47he completely underestimated the absolute monster that is Zorro. Our green-haired warrior flicked
00:28:52his hurricane switch, slicing through the waves of Baroque Works minions as effortlessly as a chef
00:28:57dicing up vegetables for a salad. But just as he finishes, more enemies burst through the doors.
00:29:03They manage to knock him back, which only pisses Zorro off. He tears through the remaining group until
00:29:08only a nun is left standing. He hesitates to strike her, but she immediately blows a cloud of blinding
00:29:13poison into his face and stabs him right in the shoulder. Now, Zorro is in a tough spot. Unable to
00:29:19see, Zorro has to rely entirely on his sense of hearing. The moment she lunges at him, he strikes
00:29:26her down for good. He ducks into cover to hide from the others who are armed. Suddenly, he sees a
00:29:31vision of Mihawk who mocks him for struggling against 100 low-level fighters. The Phantom Mihawk gives him
00:29:37some advice. He needs to master his two new swords if he ever wants to win a real rematch. Zorro
00:29:43takes
00:29:43the hint and starts wielding the blades in tandem, tapping into their true power to take out enemies
00:29:48from a distance. He fights his way up the stairs, clearing the path as he goes. Our swordsman Zorro
00:29:53runs into one big guy from the Baroque Works organization. He manages to snatch a mallet from
00:29:58him, using it to shatter the wall standing in his way. This turn of events actually works out perfectly for
00:30:03Zorro, as he finds himself face to face with the two thugs, holding Usopp and Sanji captive.
00:30:09Without breaking a sweat, he wipes them out in the blink of an eye, liberating his crewmates from
00:30:13their confinement before making a swift exit. Zorro spots the big guy waiting for him and wastes no
00:30:18time in knocking him right off the bridge, effectively neutralizing him. He continues on his path, only to
00:30:23be confronted by Mr. Nine, who is thirsty for revenge, but Zorro puts him and another Baroque Works goon
00:30:30down without any trouble. By now our hero has completely mastered his dual-wielding style,
00:30:35having successfully dispatched a hundred enemies already, and it's clear he's destined for another
00:30:40epic clash with Mihawk soon. But at this very moment, Luffy finally wakes up from his nap. He's
00:30:45absolutely furious when he realizes that someone had the nerve to try and steal his ship.
00:30:50Meanwhile, Igaram and Wednesday are making a high-speed getaway in a strange, candy-themed car,
00:30:55but Luffy manages to latch onto the vehicle and refuses to let go. Nami spots the chaos and yells
00:31:00at him to bring that car to a halt by any means necessary. Nami demands that Luffy stop them,
00:31:06so he uses his rubbery strength to flip the entire car over with them inside. As Igaram and Wednesday
00:31:11pick themselves up, they try to explain that they were forced into these actions against their will.
00:31:16Suddenly, the atmosphere ships as Mr. Five and Miss Valentine from the Baroque Works
00:31:20organization appear from the shadows behind them, looking like they mean serious business.
00:31:24These two are acting on direct orders from the mysterious leader, Mr. Zero,
00:31:29tasked with eliminating Igaram, Wednesday, and Luffy's entire crew. Mr. Five shows off his truly
00:31:35disgusting power. He sticks his finger in his nose and flicks explosive boogers at them. He ate the
00:31:41bomb bomb fruit, which turns his body's secretions into deadly explosives. Meanwhile, Miss Valentine
00:31:47reveals her own unique ability to manipulate her body weight at will. She can become as light as a feather
00:31:53to float into the air, then instantly change her weight to several tons to crush her enemies like
00:31:58a massive iron ball. Nami makes a break for it, heading toward the boat to escape the impending
00:32:02carnage. Mr. Five and Miss Valentine stay hot on their heels, tracking their every move. But just as
00:32:08they are preparing to launch a final strike, the truth behind Wednesday's identity is about to be
00:32:12revealed. Right before the attack lands, it's revealed that Wednesday is actually Princess Vivi of
00:32:18Alabasta. Fortunately, the agent's strike fails to hit its mark, and they emerge from the dust
00:32:23unharmed. Vivi then explains the whole situation. She and Igaram had infiltrated the Baroque Works
00:32:28Organization as undercover spies to find out who was behind the chaos in her kingdom, and now that
00:32:33they've been discovered, the organization wants them dead. The threat is real, and before they can
00:32:38even plan their escape, they notice Igaram has been badly injured with a large wooden splinter
00:32:42lodged in his side. He desperately tells Vivi that she must flee, and return to Alabasta because her
00:32:48people are counting on her. Vivi is understandably devastated and refuses to leave his side. But Igaram
00:32:53stands tall and introduces himself to Luffy, revealing his true title as the captain of the
00:32:58royal guard of Alabasta. He emphasizes that Vivi is the princess, and her safe return is the only
00:33:03thing that can prevent a bloody civil war. Nami, ever the businesswoman, sees an opportunity and
00:33:08declares that they won't protect royalty for anything less than a million berries.
00:33:12Igaram agrees to the price immediately, and tells him he'll stay behind to act as a distraction while
00:33:17they make their escape, heading out to confront Mr. Five and Ms. Valentine head on. Igaram unveils
00:33:22his bizarre secret weapon multiple machine guns hidden inside his massive curly wig and starts
00:33:27blasting away, sending the enemy agents scurrying like cockroaches. This bold move buys just enough
00:33:33time for Luffy and the others to scramble back to the ship where Usopp and Sanji are waiting. Once they
00:33:37are
00:33:37safely on board, Princess Vivi is visibly overcome with worry for the loyal guard who stayed behind
00:33:42to save them. Tragically, Mr. Five manages to close the distance and triggers a massive explosion right
00:33:48in front of the princess, seemingly ending Igaram's life. Nami rushes to comfort the
00:33:53sobbing Vivi as she mourns the loss of her faithful protector. By the next morning, as they sail across
00:33:58the open sea, the princess is seen clutching Igaram's handkerchief, using it to tie her hair as a
00:34:04solemn tribute to the ultimate sacrifice he made for her. Vivi officially introduces herself to Luffy,
00:34:09and explains that she has finally uncovered the true identity of Mr. Zero, the mastermind behind
00:34:14Baroque Works. She stresses that she must reach her father, the king, with this vital information
00:34:19to halt the civil war, tearing Alabasta apart. Suddenly, an unexpected sight greets them as flower
00:34:25petals begin raining down on the deck from every direction, signaling a new arrival. The mysterious
00:34:30Miss Al-Sunday, the second highest ranking member at Baroque Works, appears out of nowhere. The crew
00:34:36instinctively grabs their weapons, but they are totally unprepared for her power. She manifests
00:34:41extra hands that sprout from their own bodies, effortlessly snatching their weapons and tossing
00:34:46them aside like toys. She calmly tells them that she isn't there to kill them, despite having the
00:34:51perfect opportunity to do so. She claims she's just there for a chat, and to get a good look at
00:34:56the
00:34:56famous rubber boy, Luffy, even going as far as to snatch the hat right off his head. She warns them
00:35:02that she won't bother killing them now, because they are heading straight for Little Garden,
00:35:06an island so incredibly dangerous that the prehistoric perils there will surely do the job
00:35:11for her. It's a chilling warning about the road ahead. Claiming she has taken a liking to them,
00:35:17she offers a deal, an eternal post that will lead them to a different safe island, where they can
00:35:21hide out and remain undetected even by her own organization. Most of the crew thinks this sounds
00:35:27like a pretty sweet deal to avoid certain death, but Luffy, as usual, has a completely different
00:35:32perspective on how their adventure should go. Luffy lives for the thrill of the unknown,
00:35:36so he grabs the compass and smashes it to pieces right in front of Miss All Sunday's eyes. She just
00:35:41laughs mockingly at his bravado, telling him it's his loss and reminding him that his friends are made
00:35:46of rubber and won't survive the dangers as easily as he might. For a scaredy-cat like Usopp, this sounded
00:35:52like an absolutely golden opportunity that he was ready to jump on immediately. Luffy flatly refused,
00:35:58saying he didn't care about the Grand Line or her pathetic organization. Even though she was
00:36:02rejected, the lady didn't get angry. She just gave a little smirk. She warned him that from the very
00:36:08second they brought that princess aboard their ship, they had essentially stuck their own heads into a
00:36:12guillotine. She wished them good luck before vanishing into thin air, leaving the entire crew
00:36:17to huddle up and figure out their next move. Princess Vivi was absolutely trembling as she warned him that
00:36:23now that Miss All Sunday had located their ship, it was only a matter of time before the entire
00:36:27Baroque Works organization sent an endless wave of assassins to hunt them down. But in stark
00:36:32contrast to Vivi's sheer panic, the Straw Hat crew seemed completely unfazed, acting as if they didn't
00:36:38have a single care in the world. Luffy and the gang were just casually hanging out like nothing was wrong.
00:36:43Through her tears, Vivi thanked Luffy for saving her back on Cactus Island, but she didn't want to
00:36:48drag him into any more danger. She suggested that once they reached Little Garden, they should simply go
00:36:53their separate ways. A little while later, the ship finally drifted into the mysterious shores of
00:36:58Little Garden. The sight that greeted the crew left them all completely stunned. The island was named
00:37:03Little Garden, but it was actually gargantuan in size. As soon as they peered into the dense jungle,
00:37:09they could hear the terrifying roars of massive beasts in the distance. Instead of being afraid,
00:37:14Sanji and Zoro immediately started a competitive bet to see which of them could hunt the biggest monster
00:37:19for dinner. They were dead set on outdoing each other for the title of the best hunter. Meanwhile,
00:37:24Nami and Vivi were busy chatting away as they explored. Vivi was honestly baffled at how this
00:37:28crew could still be smiling and acting so nonchalant, especially after their intense encounter with Luffy
00:37:34and Missal Sunday earlier that day. Nami just gave her a comforting pat on the shoulder explaining that
00:37:39it's just the way they are and not to worry too much about it. Suddenly, they noticed that Usopp had
00:37:44completely disappeared. Nami instantly figured out his game, assuming he'd gotten scared and
00:37:48retreated back to the ship to hide. With the group split up, only Luffy and Vivi remained as they
00:37:53ventured deeper into the dark forest. As they walked, they finally understood why the place was
00:37:58called Little Garden. It was because everything there was scaled up to an XXL size, making normal
00:38:04humans look like tiny little insects in comparison. They soon came face to face with a massive long-necked
00:38:10dinosaur that towered over the trees. Luffy, being his usual self, immediately got the urge to try and
00:38:15ride the thing. Without waiting for a second thought, he leaped onto the dinosaur's head and
00:38:20dragged to screaming Vivi up with him, completely ignoring her protests. Since she was stuck up there
00:38:25anyway, Vivi decided to make the best of it, sitting atop the massive beast and sharing stories about her
00:38:30childhood in Alabasta with Luffy. Meanwhile, the bickering duo of Sanji and Zoro encountered a
00:38:36ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex. For fighters of their caliber, taking down a beast like this was child's
00:38:42play. However, they were so busy arguing over who actually landed the killing blow and who was the
00:38:47better hunter that they didn't even notice what was happening around them. From the distance,
00:38:51the faint sound of childish laughter drifted through the air. In a brief moment of distraction,
00:38:56Zoro suddenly found a strange, magical tattoo mark appearing on his body. He frowned, sensing that
00:39:02something very bad was about to happen. As it turns out, dinosaurs weren't even the biggest things
00:39:07on this island. The true residents were much, much larger. The island was honed to legendary,
00:39:12authentic giants. Back with Nami, she had returned to the ship to check on Usopp,
00:39:17only to come face to face with a massive giant named Brogy. Both of them were absolutely terrified,
00:39:23thinking they were about to be turned into a giant-sized snack. To their shock, however,
00:39:27the giant was actually very friendly and invited them for a meal. Brogy wasn't alone on the island,
00:39:33he had a neighbor and rival named Dory. These two had been locked in an epic combat for the
00:39:37last 100 years, simply because they had nothing better to do. They had been fighting for so long
00:39:43that they actually managed to forget the original reason why they even started hating each other in
00:39:47the first place. Brogy spoke about their homeland, Elboff, a place where you can't go outside without
00:39:53bumping into a giant. While Nami and Usopp were enjoying a drink with one giant, Luffy and Vivi
00:39:58were hitting it off with Dory. It was a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. Despite
00:40:03their intimidating size and rough appearance, these guys were actually incredibly kind and sweet.
00:40:08The giants were as big as temples, but had hearts of gold. Unfortunately, Mr. Five and Ms.
00:40:13Valentine had also successfully tracked them to the island. Upon entering the forest, they ran into Mr.
00:40:18Three, a smug agent who uses a messy candle wax ability to create weapons. He arrogantly announced
00:40:24that he was taking over the mission. He claimed that Mr. Zero knew the other two were incompetent,
00:40:29so he was stepping in to finish the job. He only let them live so he could use their manual
00:40:34labor
00:40:34for his complex plan to take down the two giants that Luffy's crew had just befriended. Mr. Three knew
00:40:40the giants had a ritual of sharing a drink before their battles, so he ordered Mr. Five to sneak an
00:40:45exploding booger bomb into their wine barrel. From a safe distance, the group consisting of Luffy,
00:40:50Nami, Usopp and Vivi were excitedly watching the giants' legendary combat, completely unaware of the
00:40:56trap being set. Just as the two elders were about to clash with full force, a strange cloud of smoke
00:41:02suddenly started billowing out of Brogy's mouth after he took a drink, signaling that something had
00:41:06gone horribly wrong. The Straw Hat crew watched in horror. At first, they thought Dory might have
00:41:12cheated. But then they spotted the Baroque works agents lurking nearby with sinister looks on their
00:41:17faces. They screamed themselves hoarse, trying to warn the giants, but it was useless. Even though
00:41:22Brogy felt something was wrong inside him, his giant pride wouldn't let him back down from a duel.
00:41:27He believed that dying with honor was better than being called a coward, so he pushed through the
00:41:31pain. But Dory hit him with a crushing blow that knocked his friend Brogy flat on the ground.
00:41:36Luffy, however, missed the climax of the fight because he was already sprinting off to chase
00:41:40down those sneaky Baroque works agents. In the middle of the chaos, Mr. Three's young partner,
00:41:45Miss Goldenweak, stealthily approached Nami. She was alone behind that mysterious tattoo on Zoro earlier,
00:41:51and now Nami was her next target. As soon as the magical paintbrush touched her,
00:41:55things started to get very strange. Both Nami and Zoro suddenly started acting completely dazed as if
00:42:00they were under the influence of something, losing all their will to fight. Seeing her chance,
00:42:04Miss Valentine launched a powerful kick that sent poor Usopp flying into a deep ravine,
00:42:09before capturing Nami as easily as picking up a helpless chicken. Usopp landed right in the middle
00:42:14of the battlefield. After picking himself up, he immediately spilled the beans to Dory about the
00:42:18beer being poisoned with explosives by Baroque works. Hearing the heartbreaking truth that his
00:42:23rival had been sabotaged, Dory was completely devastated by grief. The overwhelming guilt of
00:42:29accidentally dealing a lethal blow to his lifelong friend because of a cheap trick drove him into a
00:42:34frenzy of screams and tears before he disappeared into the jungle. Meanwhile, Luffy was in the middle of a
00:42:38chase when he stopped dead in his tracks, spotting a young girl carrying a tray of paints. His heroic
00:42:44instincts flared up, thinking she might need help. Luffy was about to offer his assistance like a true
00:42:49hero. However, from a distance, Vivi could see right through the enemy's trap and screamed at the top of
00:42:54her lungs for Luffy to get away from there as fast as he possibly could. It was already too late.
00:43:00Luffy fell right into the psychological trap, standing there frozen as he was brought under her control.
00:43:04Seeing the disaster unfold, Vivi tried to bolt, but Mr. Five suddenly appeared and ambushed her.
00:43:09At this point, the crew's only remaining hope rested on Sanji's shoulders. But unfortunately,
00:43:15while his friends were fighting for their lives, Sanji was casually strolling back to the ship,
00:43:20whistling a tune and wondering where everyone had gone. Back at the battle, Luffy was completely
00:43:24trapped by Mr. Three's partner. She was using her magical paint abilities to manipulate him like a
00:43:29puppet. She was forcing him to sit down and play house at a make-believe tea party. Meanwhile,
00:43:33Dory returns to Brogy's cave, wanting to pay his respects to his fallen rival with a proper warrior's
00:43:39farewell. However, he is caught completely off guard when the villainous Mr. Three appears from
00:43:44the shadows to spring his trap. Mr. Three unleashes his wax wax fruit powers, trapping the giant Dory
00:43:50against the cave wall with a massive amount of hardened wax that is said to be stronger than steel.
00:43:54He completely coats Dory in wax and retreats to his original spot just as Vivi starts to wake up.
00:43:59Vivi regains consciousness only to find herself held captive alongside Nami and Zoro. She quickly
00:44:05realizes that both Nami and Zoro are in a total trance, completely oblivious to the chaos happening
00:44:10around them. Suddenly, Vivi catches sight of a mysterious symbol painted on Nami's leg,
00:44:14so she crawls over and quickly wipes the mark off to break the spell. As soon as the mark is
00:44:19gone,
00:44:20Nami snaps back to her senses immediately. Vivi explains that this hypnotic symbol belongs to Miss
00:44:25Golden Week, who works with Mr. Three and the Baroque Works organization, and it works by
00:44:30hypnotizing anyone the paint touches. Hearing this, Nami desperately tries to reach over and wipe the
00:44:35magic mark off of Zoro's leg to wake him up too. Nami tries to help Zoro, but he just keeps
00:44:40moving
00:44:41away from her while cracking jokes in his dazed state. Vivi informs everyone that they're currently
00:44:45trapped inside Mr. Three's wax shack, explaining that this man possesses a supernatural ability to
00:44:50transform anything he touches into a lifeless wax statue. Vivi can only pray that someone from their
00:44:55crew arrives soon to rescue them. Desperate for a savior, Nami remembers that Usopp fell off the
00:45:01cliff earlier and starts to worry about his safety. When they ask Zoro about Sanji's whereabouts,
00:45:05he just laughs and suggests that Sanji is probably lost somewhere deep in the woods.
00:45:10For a second, Nami feels her hope slipping away. Yet deep down, she remains confident that things will
00:45:15turn around. Nami is sure Luffy will come to the rescue, but Vivi delivers the bad news. Luffy has
00:45:22fallen under the same hypnotic spell as the rest of them. Meanwhile, out in the jungle, Usopp is
00:45:27lurking around and happens to spot Mr. Three having a conversation with Ms. Goldenweek. During their
00:45:33talk, Mr. Three receives some very interesting information from his partner. Ms. Goldenweek reveals
00:45:38that Luffy is just sitting on the beach, and Mr. Three mentions that Nami, Zoro, and Vivi are all
00:45:43locked up in his wax hut. Hearing this, Usopp sprints toward the beach to find Luffy,
00:45:48completely unaware that his captain is under Goldenweek's influence. Even when he spots the
00:45:52weird symbol painted on Luffy's face, the gravity of the situation doesn't click for him. Usopp doesn't
00:45:57even think to wipe the mark off. Instead, he keeps shouting that they need to go and save their friends
00:46:02right now. However, Luffy is trapped in a state of overwhelming guilt caused by the specific painting
00:46:07on his face. He's stuck in a loop of self-blame, convinced that everything happening to his crew
00:46:12is entirely his fault and that he's failed them. Believing it'll be the reason they all die,
00:46:16Luffy is unresponsive, so Usopp leaves him to search for Sanji so they can mount a rescue together.
00:46:21While trekking through the forest, Usopp stumbles upon Sanji's clothes discarded on the ground and
00:46:26covered in blood. This horrifying discovery leads Usopp to believe that the Baroque Works gang
00:46:30has managed to capture Sanji as well. Back at the beach, Ms. Goldenweek approaches Luffy and sits down,
00:46:36pulling out her toys and complaining that nobody ever plays with her because of her strange powers.
00:46:41Noticing how incredibly sad Luffy looks, she decides to swap his mood by painting a green
00:46:46mark on him and wiping away the blue one, which was the source of his intense sorrow.
00:46:50Luffy tries his hardest to resist her psychological manipulation,
00:46:53but he ultimately fails and ends up doing exactly what she says,
00:46:57even sitting down to drink tea as she prepared. Meanwhile, Sanji is still scouting the forest for
00:47:01his crew until he discovers a mysterious white shack. He decides to burst inside to investigate,
00:47:06only to find the place seemingly deserted. Since the shack is empty, Sanji sits down and finds a
00:47:12stack of files containing photos of himself and the rest of Luffy's crew, complete with detailed
00:47:16intel and every member's strengths and weaknesses. He grabs the documents to show the others,
00:47:21but just as he's about to leave, the silence is broken by the sudden ringing of a telephone nearby.
00:47:26Sanji answers the call and quickly realizes he's talking to Mr. Zero,
00:47:30the mysterious big boss of Baroque works. Sanji plays along and keeps the conversation going,
00:47:36benefited by the fact that the transponder snail distorts voices to prevent call tracking.
00:47:40However, it doesn't take long for Mr. Zero to get suspicious that the person on the other end
00:47:44isn't one of his men. Suspicious of the intruder? Mr. Zero dispatches two agents known as the
00:47:49Unluckys, Ms. Friday and Mr. 13, to the shack. The moment they spot Sanji, they open fire with their
00:47:55weapons, forcing him to duck back into the hut for cover. Once Sanji manages to get Ms. Friday
00:48:00alone, he doesn't hold back, quickly overpowering her and snapping her neck to finish her off.
00:48:05After taking out the first agent, Sanji goes back to the phone and coolly tells Mr. Zero to hold on
00:48:11a second. He puts the boss on hold while he deals with Mr. 13, taking him out with zero effort.
00:48:16Once the second agent is dealt with, Sanji picks the receiver back up to resume his chat with the
00:48:21leader of Baroque works as if nothing happened. Sanji mockingly informs Mr. Zero that his two
00:48:26messengers are dead, which sends the boss into a silent rage. Mr. Zero grabs a nearby flower and
00:48:31makes it wither instantly, giving us a hint that he possesses a deadly devil fruit power that can
00:48:37kill with a single touch. Sanji hangs up and heads out, ready to make his next move. Sanji loots an
00:48:42eternal pose for Ms. Friday's remains and sets off to reunite with his crew. Meanwhile, the situation is
00:48:48looking dire as Mr. 3 has captured Zoro, Nami, and Vivi, pinning them onto a giant wax cake he created.
00:48:54Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5 suggest finishing them off right then and there to get the job over with.
00:48:59Mr. 3 stops them, insisting that he wants to enjoy watching his victims suffer first. He commands Mr.
00:49:045 to light the massive candles on top of the wax cake, causing a fine mist of wax to rain
00:49:09down on the
00:49:10three captives. This sadistic method is designed to slowly encase them in wax, killing them by inches,
00:49:15as they watch their own demise. Mr. 3 explains with glee that they are slowly being transformed into
00:49:20permanent wax statues, which he considers the height of artistic pleasure. However,
00:49:25the sharp-eyed Nami notices that Zoro's hands aren't actually stuck in the wax yet,
00:49:30and he still has his swords. Thinking fast, she decides to use her wits to manipulate Mr. 3.
00:49:36Nami insults Mr. 3's artistic integrity, pointing out that Zoro looks like a joke because he's still
00:49:42laughing under the hypnotic spell. Her plan is to provoke Mr. 3 into snapping Zoro out of it so we
00:49:47can
00:49:47fight back. Surprisingly, the plan works. Mr. 3 gets offended and wipes the mark off Zoro's leg to
00:49:53make him a more serious statue. The moment he's free from the trance, Zoro grabs his blade and tries
00:49:58to smash through the wax, but it's far too hard to break. Mr. 3 laughs at their struggle, demanding that
00:50:03Nami finally admit he's a true master artist. Nami feels a wave of frustration as her plan hits a wall.
00:50:10Meanwhile, we cut back to Luffy, where Miss Golden Week is forcing him toward the ocean.
00:50:14Golden Week knows that as a Devil Fruit user, the sea is Luffy's absolute weakness and will kill him
00:50:19instantly. Just as things look hopeless, Usopp arrives in the nick of time. He shouts at Luffy
00:50:25to fight through the hypnotic control. This enrages Golden Week, who starts chasing Usopp to bring him
00:50:29under her spell as well. Usopp pulls off a slick maneuver and manages to evade her, causing Golden
00:50:34Week to accidentally collide with her own paint. She ends up getting hit right in the face by her own
00:50:38hypnotic colors, trapping her in a cycle she can't easily break. With her distracted,
00:50:43Usopp rushes over to Luffy and helps pull him away from the dangerous seawater.
00:50:47After the close call to water, they rush to help the others, but they find them
00:50:50looking like finished wax statues. Mr. 3 smugly informs Luffy that his friends have less than
00:50:56two minutes of life left. He explains that they are currently surviving on the tiny bit of oxygen
00:51:00remaining in their lungs, and once that's gone, it's game over. Luffy steps up to fight, but Mr. 3 proves
00:51:06he's a total coward by turning tail and sprinting into the jungle. Luffy tells Usopp to focus on
00:51:11saving their friends no matter what, while he takes off after Mr. 3 to settle the score once and for
00:51:16all.
00:51:17Left behind at the wax cake, Usopp finds himself in a standoff. Usopp is now facing both Miss
00:51:22Valentine and Mr. 5. He bravely suggests a fair fight, one-on-one, and chooses to take on Miss
00:51:29Valentine first. She's actually thrilled by the challenge, noting that it's been quite a while since
00:51:34she's killed anyone, and she plans to save her every moment of his defeat. Usopp knows he's
00:51:39completely outclassed, but he cleverly goads her into attacking with everything she's got.
00:51:44The sheer impact of Miss Valentine's powerful strikes actually causes the wax encasing his
00:51:49friends to shatter. With the spell broken, Nami and Vivi immediately launch a counterattack on
00:51:54Valentine, sparking a fierce battle. Zoro is ready to take down Mr. 5, but he realizes his feet are still
00:52:00glued to the wax base. Seeing this, Usopp provides cover by peppering Mr. 5 with shots from his
00:52:06slingshot. Zoro uses that brief distraction to finally rip his feet free and charges at Mr. 5
00:52:11with his signature lethal speed. Zoro successfully finishes his fight with Mr. 5, just as Nami and
00:52:16Vivi manage to overpower Miss Valentine and knock her out cold. Meanwhile, we check back on Luffy,
00:52:21who is scouring the forest for Mr. 3. When he finally catches up, he's confronted by dozens of
00:52:26identical copies of the villain, so he starts swinging his legs at all of them. Luffy soon
00:52:31realizes he's just punching wax decoys, and more statues of Mr. 3 keep popping up throughout the
00:52:37jungle. It's a confusing mess, and Luffy isn't sure how to find the real one. In typical Luffy fashion,
00:52:43he decides the best strategy is to just smash every single statue until the real Mr. 3 reveals himself.
00:52:48Once Luffy starts making progress, the real Mr. 3 bolts toward Brogy's cave.
00:52:52He lures Luffy into a trap, managing to encase Luffy's hand in a heavy wax hammer to limit his
00:52:58movements. While stuck, Luffy spots the giant Brogy also trapped in wax, and Mr. 3 begins to
00:53:04taunt him about how easily he defeated the giant. Luffy's anger reaches its boiling point as he
00:53:09listens to the villain's bragging. Gathering all his strength, he uses the very wax hammer meant to
00:53:13restrain him as a weapon, smashing it into Mr. 3 with incredible force. The blow knocks Mr. 3 out
00:53:19instantly. Luffy then turns his attention to the giant Dory who is still pinned by the wax. Luffy
00:53:24decides to free the giant and then heads back to reunite with the rest of the crew. Overjoyed to see
00:53:29that everyone has escaped their wax prisons, Sanji arrives shortly after and hands Nami the eternal
00:53:34pose he took from Miss Friday earlier. Upon inspecting it, Nami is relieved to see it's functioning
00:53:39perfectly. The compass is set specifically for the Kingdom of Alabasta. Just then, Dory the giant
00:53:45approaches and offers a sincere thank you to Luffy for saving his life. Sanji is absolutely
00:53:50stunned when he sees the massive warrior, as he had no idea there were actually giants living on this
00:53:55island. After the introductions, the crew prepares to depart. Luffy and the crew head back to their
00:54:00ship happy to see Dory and Brogy finally settling their differences. After a warm farewell to their
00:54:05giant friends, they set sail for Alabasta. Vivi is beaming with joy when Luffy reassures her that they
00:54:11are prioritizing her kingdom above everything else. Their departure is suddenly interrupted
00:54:15by a gargantuan sea monster rising from the depths. Seeing their friends in trouble, Dory and Brogy
00:54:21combine their strength for a massive joint attack. The power of their strike is so intense, it literally
00:54:27carves a hole through the monster's body, allowing Luffy and the crew to sail the going Mary right
00:54:32through the beast. Back at the wax shack, Miss Valentine is laying into Mr. 3, blaming him for the entire
00:54:37failure because he ignored her advice to kill the straw hats immediately. Suddenly, the transponder
00:54:42snail starts ringing. Mr. 3 begins to panic, knowing that Mr. 0 is on the other end, surely demanding a
00:54:49status update on their mission. If the boss finds out he failed, Mr. 3 knows he's a dead man. Miss
00:54:55Valentine tries to answer the call to tell the truth, but Mr. 3 reacts instantly, using his powers to turn
00:55:00her into a wax statue so she can't rat him out. Later that night, Luffy and the rest of the
00:55:05crew are seen
00:55:06celebrating their hard-won victory over the Baroque Works agents. As the crew enjoys a celebratory
00:55:11dinner, Nami mentions to Luffy that she's feeling a bit under the weather and decides to head to
00:55:16her cabin early. However, as she reaches the deck, her condition takes a sudden turn for the worse.
00:55:21She collapses and loses consciousness right then and there, leaving everyone in a state of alarm.
00:55:26Now we cut to Miss All Sunday, who's taking a call from Mr. 0 regarding a specific secret mission.
00:55:31We see that she's currently in the company of a man named Waple,
00:55:34the former king of the Drum Kingdom. Waple is clearly irritated because Mr. 0 refuses to meet
00:55:40with him personally. Waple isn't happy about having to deal with Miss All Sunday instead of
00:55:45the boss himself, but she calmly explains that Mr. 0 is far too busy. This makes Waple even angrier.
00:55:52He rants about how much money he's poured into Baroque Works and demands they start showing some
00:55:56appreciation. Miss All Sunday simply tells him to relax and keep his cool. To quiet him down,
00:56:01she presents him with the devil fruit, stating it's a personal gift from Mr. 0. Waple's mood
00:56:05flips instantly to excitement, knowing the legendary power these fruits hold. He curiously asks Miss All
00:56:11Sunday exactly what kind of power he'll gain, but she mysteriously tells him he'll just have to eat it
00:56:16and find out for himself. After she leaves, we return to the ship where Nami is finally waking up.
00:56:21Sanji is there by her side, and she's shocked to learn she's been unconscious for four whole days.
00:56:26Her concern turns to horror when she notices the veins in her body are starting to turn a dark,
00:56:31ominous black. But Sanji tries his best to stay positive. Sanji promises Nami that they will find
00:56:37a cure for whatever is happening to her, urging her to get more rest. He then gathers the rest of
00:56:42the crew on deck to deliver the grim news. Nami's condition is critical and they need to find a
00:56:47doctor immediately. Vivi points out that her kingdom is still quite far away and Nami might not survive the
00:56:52trip. Vivi suggests that the best course of action is to pull over at the very next island they find
00:56:57to seek medical help. Everyone agrees it's the right move. Meanwhile, on an island named Rain Base,
00:57:03which houses a marine communications hub, we see Captain Smoker and Tashigi arriving with a very
00:57:08specific goal in mind. Smoker and Tashigi are there to intercept and monitor the communications between
00:57:13Baroque works agents, hoping to pinpoint their locations and make some arrests. It's revealed that
00:57:17Smoker plans to keep any findings secret from his superiors because he's obsessed with tracking
00:57:22down Luffy's crew first. Smoker's primary goal is to catch the Straw Hats himself. As they walk
00:57:28through the base, Tashigi trips over the body of a fallen marine soldier. Examining the wounds,
00:57:33they determine the soldier was killed by a sword, leading Smoker to suspect that Roronoa Zora might be
00:57:38responsible for the attack on the facility. Smoker is genuinely puzzled about why Luffy's crew would
00:57:43suddenly decide to raid a marine communications outpost. Regardless, he heads deeper into the base to
00:57:48investigate the damage himself, instructing Tashigi to contact marine headquarters and report the
00:57:53incident so they can send over some reinforcements. Upon entering the comms room, Smoker finds all the
00:57:58equipment completely trashed. Suddenly, a Baroque works agent named Miss Thursday appears before him.
00:58:04Realizing that the criminal organization, not Luffy's crew, is actually responsible for the
00:58:09destruction, Smoker prepares to use his smoke powers to end the confrontation. Things move incredibly fast
00:58:15from here. At that very moment, Tashigi bursts into the commander's office only to find him lying
00:58:19there lifeless. Suddenly, a Baroque works agent known as Mr. Eleven appears right before her eyes,
00:58:25wielding a sword. It instantly clicks for Tashigi. This is the man who murdered the commander and the
00:58:30guard she found outside the base. Without a single moment of hesitation, she launches an attack and a
00:58:35fierce battle breaks out between them. Tashigi manages to land a powerful blow that knocks him out cold.
00:58:40Just then, Smoker enters the room and informs her that they have taken down another member of the
00:58:45dangerous Baroque works organization, the same group responsible for destroying the communication
00:58:50base. Smoker insists that they must uncover the underlying motto for these attacks. Meanwhile,
00:58:55Luffy and his crew finally spawn an island ahead of them. Vivi explains that this is the Drum Kingdom,
00:59:00but she makes a very serious request they must not mention to anyone that she is actually the princess of
00:59:05her own kingdom. The reason for her secrecy is King Waple, who has a massive long-standing grudge
00:59:11against her kingdom and would surely harm her if he discovered she was there. Despite her fear,
00:59:15Vivi tells the crew they have no other choice but to land. This island is famous for its skilled doctors,
00:59:20and they are Nami's only hope for a full recovery. To understand the tension between Vivi and the Drum
00:59:26Kingdom, we have to look back ten years into the past. Back then, a young Vivi was peeking through a
00:59:31window, watching a high-stakes meeting of the world government. It was a massive gathering
00:59:36attended by some of the most powerful leaders on the planet. Among the attendees were Vivi's father
00:59:40and the arrogant King Waple of the Drum Kingdom. The head of the meeting was discussing the grave
00:59:45threat posed by Dragon, the leader of the revolutionary army who was upsetting the balance of power between
00:59:50nations. Fun fact, Dragon is actually the one keeping an eye on Luffy's crew. As it turns out,
00:59:55Dragon is actual Luffy's father. During the council, King Waple dismisses the concerns,
01:00:00boastfully claiming that he rules his kingdom with an iron fist and that his people would never
01:00:04dare to question him. It's at this moment that Vivi watches her own father, King Cobra,
01:00:09step in to challenge that mindset. King Cobra argues that a true ruler must treat his subjects
01:00:13with kindness and respect. This infuriates Waple, who starts screaming at Cobra, leading to a heated
01:00:19confrontation between the two kings. Fast forward back to the present day, where Luffy's crew is just
01:00:23arriving at the shores of the Drum Kingdom. They are immediately greeted with gunfire from behind
01:00:28the Kingdom's gates because the locals are definitely not welcoming to pirates.
01:00:32Vivi actually gets hit in the shoulder during the chaos. Luffy loses his temper and prepares to smash
01:00:37the gates down, but Vivi stops him just in time realizing that fighting back isn't the answer.
01:00:42Vivi insists that violence won't get them what they need. She humbly apologizes to the guards,
01:00:47explaining that they desperately need medical attention for their sick friend. The gates finally open and
01:00:51Thalton, the captain of the Royal Guards, steps out. He allows them entry and offers a sincere
01:00:56apology for the hostile reception they received. When Luffy mentions they need a doctor for Nami,
01:01:01Dalton reveals a grim reality. There is only one doctor left in the entire Kingdom. King Waple
01:01:07took all the others with him. This doctor, a woman named Kureha, lives in a castle perched at the very
01:01:12peak of a mountain. However, a local named Maria gives them a chilling warning. Maria warns them that
01:01:18Kureha is more like a witch who uses very bizarre methods to treat her patients. Despite the scary rumors,
01:01:24Luffy is determined to get Nami the help she needs. He decides to scale the mountain himself with Sanji's
01:01:30help, while Zoro stays behind with Vivi. Luffy hoists Nami onto his back to begin the climb. Luffy
01:01:36and Sanji start the grueling ascent up the mountain to reach Dr. Kureha. During the climb, a massive storm
01:01:42hits making things incredibly dangerous. At one point, Sanji actually falls, but Luffy uses his powers to
01:01:48stretch out and catch him. He gathers every bit of strength he has left to make sure they all keep
01:01:52moving
01:01:53upward. With a final surge of effort, Luffy manages to get them to the very top, though he is completely
01:01:58exhausted and on the verge of passing out. Just as his vision begins to fade, he's startled to see the
01:02:03legs of some kind of creature nearby. Using his last breath, he begs the creature to save his friends
01:02:09before he finally collapses. Hours later, Nami finally wakes up and finds herself in a room that
01:02:14looks like a hospital. She realizes she's hooked up to an IV and feels significantly better than before.
01:02:20However, her relief turns to worry the moment you spot Sanji lying unconscious in the bed right next
01:02:24to her. Suddenly, a tiny reindeer named Chopper enters the room. When Nami calls out to him,
01:02:29he gets spooked and tries to hide, though he still keeps a shy eye on her from a distance.
01:02:34Right at that moment, Dr. Kureha walks in and explains that she is the one responsible for treating Nami
01:02:40and saving her life. Kureha reassures Nami that her condition has stabilized, explaining that she had
01:02:45contracted a deadly infection from a rare insect bite. The doctor begins discussing medical details
01:02:50with Chopper, who clearly knows his stuff. Nami, still concerned for her crewmates,
01:02:55asks if Luffy and Sanji are going to be alright as well. Kureha mentions that Sanji is dealing with a
01:03:01couple of broken ribs but is being well cared for. Before Nami can even ask about Luffy,
01:03:05he bursts into the room yelling. He bursts into the room yelling. He's convinced Kureha is a total
01:03:11lunatic who wanted to feed them to her pet monster. Luffy's shouting is so loud that it actually wakes
01:03:16Sanji up from his rest. Sanji ignores Luffy's rambling because he's just so happy to see that
01:03:20Nami is finally back on her feet. Kureha patiently explains to Luffy that she was actually performing
01:03:25medical treatments on him, prompting a clumsy apology from the captain. Luffy realizes he overreacted
01:03:31and takes a moment to properly thank Kureha for saving Nami. After Luffy apologizes for his behavior,
01:03:36he spots Chopper and is immediately fascinated by the little reindeer.
01:03:39Nami mentions that she is absolutely starving so Kureha instructs Chopper to show the boys where
01:03:44the kitchen is so they can whip up a meal using whatever supplies are available in the castle.
01:03:49While Sanji and Luffy are busy preparing food for Nami, they notice Chopper watching them intensely from
01:03:54the shadows. They try to invite him over to chat but he's too shy and stays in his hiding spot.
01:03:59While
01:03:59exploring, Luffy happens to find an old pirate flag tucked away inside a box nearby. The moment Luffy
01:04:05touches a flag, Chopper gets surprisingly angry and snatches it away, stuffing it back into the box
01:04:09before walking off looking heartbroken. Later that night during dinner, a curious Luffy asks Kureha why
01:04:15Chopper is so sad and what the story is behind that mysterious pirate flag he found. Kureha begins
01:04:20to recount Chopper's emotional backstory. We flashback several years to a time when Kureha was constantly
01:04:26on the run from the king's soldiers. King Wapol had ordered the arrest of every doctor in the land so
01:04:31he could keep them locked in his palace for his own personal health needs. During those days,
01:04:35we meet a man named Dr. Hiraluk who was also hiding from the royal guards. It's clear that he and
01:04:41Kureha
01:04:41didn't see eye to eye on medicine and they even got into a loud argument about their conflicting methods.
01:04:47After they parted ways, Hiraluk spotted some very strange looking footprints in the snow.
01:04:51Hiraluk followed the tracks until he discovered a young Chopper who was badly injured. The doctor
01:04:56tried to approach him to help but Chopper was terrified and fought him off with everything he
01:05:00had until he eventually collapsed from exhaustion. The next day, Chopper finally woke up in a safe
01:05:05place. Chopper realized he was lying in a bed inside Hiraluk's home. When the doctor asked how
01:05:10he was feeling, he was absolutely stunned when Chopper answered him in human speech. Kureha realized the
01:05:15truth and asked if the reindeer had accidentally eaten the devil fruit, a question that left Chopper
01:05:20confused. Chopper explained that he had just been hungry and didn't realize what he was eating.
01:05:24He also revealed a painful truth. Whenever he gets angry, he transforms into a giant monster,
01:05:29which is why humans have always hunted and shot at him. Hiraluk listened as Chopper described how
01:05:34he returns to normal once he calms down. Hiraluk explained that the devil fruit had granted him
01:05:39extraordinary abilities. When asked about his family, Chopper sadly shared that he was an
01:05:44outcast because of his blue nose. Hiraluk, feeling a deep connection to the lonely creature,
01:05:49decided to adopt and promising to be his friend and teacher. The two lived together happily,
01:05:54with Hiraluk teaching Chopper everything about medicine and gathering herbs from the forest.
01:05:58One day, Chopper asked about the pirate flag hanging on the wall and the strange red fruit
01:06:03symbol on it. Hiraluk confessed that in his younger days, he'd actually been a pirate himself. He shared
01:06:09a miracle story he once had a terminal illness but was cured simply by the sight of cherry blossoms.
01:06:14Knowing no one would believe such a tale, he kept it as his own secret and decided to make
01:06:19the cherry blossom the symbol on his flag, believing it represented a hope stronger than any disease.
01:06:24To Hiraluk, the pirate flag wasn't a symbol of death, but a banner for fighting sickness using
01:06:30nature's gifts. He spent his days conducting endless experiments, desperate to find a universal cure
01:06:36that could heal any ailment. Despite many failures, he never stopped searching for that perfect formula.
01:06:41One day, while walking back from the shore, Hiraluk suddenly told Chopper to go away, claiming he was
01:06:47cured and didn't need him anymore. Chopper was absolutely devastated and confused, unable to believe his
01:06:52friend was abandoning him. He pleaded to stay, but Hiraluk was firm and pushed him away.
01:06:57Hiraluk retreated into his house and slammed the door shut. Chopper collapsed outside, begging to be
01:07:02let back in, unaware that Hiraluk was crying on the other side, asking for forgiveness. Heartbroken,
01:07:08Chopper finally left. The next day, he watched the house from a distance and saw a surprising visitor.
01:07:14Chopper saw Dr. Kureha examining Hiraluk and realized the truth. The doctor was dying of a terminal
01:07:20illness. He had pushed Chopper away because he didn't want the little reindeer to witness his
01:07:24painful final moments. Hiraluk begged Kureha to look after Chopper once he was gone and to finish
01:07:29his life's work. He wanted her to continue his research until a true cure for humanity was found.
01:07:34Although Kureha felt for him, she hated seeing him so defeated. She told him that he wasn't dead yet,
01:07:40and that he should be the one to complete his experiments and find the cure with his own hands.
01:07:45Inspired, Hiraluk spent the next day working feverishly on his formula and finally believed
01:07:49he had succeeded. Just then, a battered and bruised Chopper burst into the room. He was
01:07:54clutching a specific mushroom in his hand the fabled magical mushroom people whispered about.
01:07:59Chopper explained that he had braved the dangerous Death Valley just to get that mushroom to save his
01:08:04friend. Touched by the gesture, Hiraluk embraced him and thanked him. He then ate the mushroom telling
01:08:09Chopper that he immediately felt his health and strength returning to him. Hiraluk said he needed to go to
01:08:14the king's palace to check on the other doctors. After he left, Kureha arrived looking for him.
01:08:19When Chopper told her that Hiraluk had gone to the palace, she was shocked. Knowing how incredibly ill
01:08:24he actually was, and wondering how he had the strength to walk, Chopper excitedly told her that
01:08:29Hiraluk was cured because of the mushroom he provided. Kureha grew serious, insisting that his illness had no
01:08:34cure. She demanded to see what kind of mushroom it was, so Chopper pointed it out in a book, explaining
01:08:40that Hiraluk told him the symbol on it meant it was a healer. Kureha lost her temper and shouted at
01:08:45Chopper, revealing a terrifying truth. He had misread the book. That symbol actually meant the
01:08:51mushroom was highly poisonous. Chopper was in total denial, arguing that it couldn't be true since
01:08:56Hiraluk ate it and said he felt much better. Kureha broke the news that Hiraluk had sacrificed
01:09:01himself just to spare Chopper's feelings after seeing how hard he had fought to find that mushroom.
01:09:06She added that Hiraluk was on a suicide mission to the palace to save the other doctors from Waple.
01:09:11Chopper burst into tears and ran as fast as he could toward the palace. Meanwhile,
01:09:15Hiraluk had reached the palace and was using explosives to fight his way through the guards.
01:09:19He finally confronted King Waple, demanding that the king release the imprisoned doctors so they could
01:09:23go back to serving the people of the kingdom who desperately needed them. Waple refused and ordered
01:09:28Hiraluk's immediate execution. Before the guards could act, Hiraluk stopped them and gave a final
01:09:33message to Dalton. He told him that a monster would soon arrive, but he begged Dalton not to harm it,
01:09:39explaining that the creature was actually his son and a peaceful being. Without warning,
01:09:44Hiraluk set off explosives from his bag, choosing to end his own life on his own terms. Waple just
01:09:51laughed mockingly at the scene and ordered Dalton to find and kill Hiraluk's son. Just as the smoke
01:09:57cleared, Chopper arrived at the palace gates. When Chopper saw Hiraluk's hat lying on the ground,
01:10:02he knew his mentor was gone. Blinded by rage, he transformed into a massive beast,
01:10:08ready to tear Waple apart. Dalton stepped in, managing to calm him down by explaining
01:10:13Hiraluk's final request and urging him to flee so his father's sacrifice wouldn't be in vain.
01:10:18Moved by Dalton's words, Chopper retreated and ran back to Hiraluk's home. Once there,
01:10:23he begs Dr. Kariha to take him in and teach him everything about medicine,
01:10:28vowing to fulfill Hiraluk's dream of becoming a great doctor. And that, my friend,
01:10:33is the tragic story of how Chopper became who he is. Back in the present, Luffy and the crew are
01:10:38visibly moved by the story. Luffy stands up, walks over to Chopper and takes Hiraluk's old pirate flag,
01:10:44proudly hanging it back up on the wall. Chopper watches in absolute awe as Luffy demonstrates his
01:10:49amazing stretching abilities. Chopper admits that he also ate a devil fruit and transformed into a
01:10:53monster, just like Luffy. Luffy insists that the flag should never be hidden in a box again
01:10:58and encourages Chopper to honor Hiraluk's memory by pursuing the dream of healing everyone in the
01:11:03world. A small smile forms on Chopper's face as he promises to follow that path. Meanwhile,
01:11:08down below, Dalton is with Zoro and Usopp. He notices a plume of smoke rising from the mountainside
01:11:14and realizes someone has set up a camp, which is strange since no new boats have arrived at the harbor.
01:11:19Dalton decides to investigate the mysterious camp immediately. Before heading out, he tells Zoro
01:11:25that the safety of the kingdom and its people is in his hands until he returns. At the same time,
01:11:30Vivi is walking through the village and kindly offers her own gloves to some local children who
01:11:34are shivering in the cold. Vivi's gentle moment is interrupted by a shock. She spots Miss Sunday from
01:11:39Baroque work standing right there among the villagers. The mysterious woman vanishes into the crowd,
01:11:44prompting Vivi to chase after her. When she finally catches up, Vivi demands to know what her end
01:11:49game is. Vivi asks what she could possibly gain by working for a madman like Mr. Zero.
01:11:55Sunday cryptically replies that it's personal business. She also warns Vivi that Wapple has
01:12:00gained monstrous powers from Devil Fruit and has an army of soldiers that no ordinary person could hope
01:12:05to defeat. Sunday challenges Vivi to show her how she and Luffy's crew plan to protect the kingdom
01:12:10before walking away. Meanwhile, Dalton reaches the mountain camp. As he nears the source of the
01:12:15smoke, he is suddenly ambushed and struck by three arrows causing him to collapse in the snow.
01:12:20It turns out Wapple's men were the ones who staged the ambush. They drag the wounded Dalton to Wapple,
01:12:25and Dalton is horrified to see that the king has transformed into a bizarre metallic beast.
01:12:30He realizes Wapple ate a Devil Fruit that allows him to become whatever he consumes.
01:12:34Wapple can literally turn his body into a weapon based on what he eats.
01:12:39Dalton transforms into his beast form to fight back, declaring that Wapple is no longer fit to rule.
01:12:45However, Wapple stabs him in the shoulder and then disturbingly begins spitting out an army of mutated
01:12:50soldiers from his mouth to take over the land. Down in the village, Zoro and Usopp spot these
01:12:55metallic monsters approaching. They immediately start evacuating and hiding the villagers. Vivi arrives
01:13:00and shares the warnings from Miss Sunday, making it clear that these oncoming beasts are actually
01:13:05Wapple specialized soldiers. Zoro takes his promised Dalton seriously and prepares for battle.
01:13:10He tells Usopp to head up the mound to get Luffy, but Vivi insists on going herself. She argues that
01:13:16Zoro and Usopp are the strongest fighters and need to stay behind to hold the line against the invaders.
01:13:21Usopp gives Vivi a special climbing tool he invented to help her scale the peak quickly.
01:13:26She successfully reaches the top and breaks the news about the attack to Luffy. Without missing a beat,
01:13:31Luffy prepares to head back down and take on Wapple and his army of freaks. Kureha tells Chopper they
01:13:36should pack up and run, but Chopper firmly refuses. He feels it's his duty to stay and protect the
01:13:41people. Kureha leaves him to his choice and, on her way down, finds the injured Dalton. Initially,
01:13:47she's reluctant to ambush him from behind, but she changes her mind after hearing him speak.
01:13:52When Dalton quotes the late Hyruleuk, Kureha has moved to tears and decides to treat his wounds.
01:13:57Meanwhile, the battle in the village is going poorly. The monsters are overwhelming everyone.
01:14:03One of the metallic beasts is just seconds away from killing a defenseless village woman. Dalton
01:14:07appears out of nowhere and saves the woman just in time. Usopp watches in amazement,
01:14:12as Dalton utilizes his own beast transformation to fight. Dalton then spots another monster,
01:14:17targeting Maria and her group, leaping into action to take the creature down permanently. Just as a
01:14:22monster grabs Usopp and prepares to finish him off, Dr. Kureha arrives and blasts the creature with
01:14:27fire to save him. Back at the mountain castle, things take a turn for the worse when Wapple
01:14:32sneaks inside using a hidden passage catching the crew off guard. Wapple targets Hyruleuk's pirate
01:14:37fly with a cannon blast, but Luffy leaps into the air and blocks the shot with his own body to
01:14:42protect
01:14:42the symbol. The crew is horrified to see Luffy take such a hit, while Wapple mocks him calling him a
01:14:47fool for risking his life for a piece of cloth. Wapple is stunned when Luffy emerges from the
01:14:52smoke still standing. Luffy declares that the flag is precious to his friend Chopper,
01:14:57and that's why he'll never let it be destroyed. He stands tall, ready to settle the score with Wapple
01:15:02once and for all. Wapple transforms his hand into a saw to try and cut Luffy down, but Luffy dodges
01:15:07the
01:15:07strikes with ease. However, Wapple eventually corners and pushing him aside. Just as things look dire,
01:15:12Sanju provides an opening, and Luffy uses his stretching ability to reposition himself.
01:15:16Luffy pulls himself back and launches a devastating counterattack that sends Wapple flying right out
01:15:21of the castle. Down in the village, the monsters surrounding Zoro and the people suddenly lose
01:15:26their strength and revert back into normal humans. The threat has finally been neutralized. The soldiers
01:15:32surrender now that Wapple's control over them is broken. Peace finally returns to the Drum Kingdom.
01:15:38Kureha visits the formerly imprisoned doctors to tell them that the nightmare is over and that they
01:15:43must now get to work healing the six citizens. Kureha leads Zoro, Dalton, and Usopp back up to the
01:15:48castle through the secret passage. They reunite with Luffy and Vivi, and everyone is relieved to
01:15:53hear that Wapple has been defeated. The kingdom is finally free from the Tyrant's shadow thanks to the
01:15:58Straw Hat crew. The crew is introduced to Chopper, and Luffy officially invites him to join them as their
01:16:03ship's doctor. Overwhelmed with joy at finally being accepted, Chopper agrees to join the journey.
01:16:08He shares a heartfelt goodbye with Kureha, thanking her for everything she taught him. Dalton offers
01:16:13his sincere thanks to the crew for saving his home. As they prepare to leave, Chopper surprises
01:16:18them by pulling a large sled. He invites everyone to hop in, explaining that he'll use it to help them
01:16:23all descend the mountain quickly and reach their ship. Dalton bids them farewell as they head out.
01:16:28When they finally reach the Going Merry, Chopper is wide-eyed with wonder. It's his very first time
01:16:35seeing a real pirate ship. As they set sail, Chopper takes one long, final look at the kingdom he's
01:16:41leaving behind. Usopp comforts him, saying they all felt that way when they first left home.
01:16:46Nami brings Chopper a medical bag that Kureha left for him. Inside, he finds a mysterious, brightly
01:16:51colored ball. When Nami asks what it is, Chopper just gives her a knowing smile. Chopper tells Nami that
01:16:57the ball is a medical secret of his. Meanwhile, back at the castle, Dalton brings Kureha a massive
01:17:03cannon she requested, though he's completely baffled as to why she would ever need such a thing.
01:17:07Little does he know, she's about to fulfill a promise. Kureha reveals that Hyrule actually
01:17:12succeeded in creating a cure-all. She loads a special canister into the cannon, and fires it
01:17:17into the atmosphere. Suddenly, the sky is filled with a pink powder that looks exactly like falling
01:17:22cherry blossoms, coating the snowy island in beauty. As the pink snow falls, Chopper remembers Hyrule
01:17:28extreme of the cherry blossoms that could heal a sick heart. He breaks down in tears of joy and
01:17:33sorrow. Sorrow gently lifts him onto his shoulder to comfort him while the rest of the crew watches
01:17:37the beautiful scene in silence. The next day, the crew throws a big party to welcome Chopper to the
01:17:42team. He's clearly having the time of his life with his new friends. However, Nami notices that
01:17:48Vivi looks a bit downcast, likely because she knows she'll eventually have to leave then to save her
01:17:52own kingdom. Luffy reassures Vivi, promising that they won't stop until Baroque Works is defeated
01:17:57and Alabasta is safe. The whole crew chimes in to support her, making Vivi feel like a true member
01:18:03of their family. They are all in this together until the very end. Meanwhile, Smoker and Tashigi
01:18:09manage to intercept a call between Sanji and Mr. Zero. Tashigi recognize Sanji's voice and they realize
01:18:15that Princess Vivi is traveling with the Straw Hats. They know Crocodile will be gunning for her now that
01:18:20she knows his true identity. Smoker and Tashigi decide to head straight for Alabasta to find out
01:18:24what Vivi knows. At the same time, Miss Sunday and Mr. Zero are meeting to discuss their next move.
01:18:30Sunday reports the latest news, including the fact that King Waple is no longer a factor in their plans.
01:18:35Luffy's crew has successfully taken Will Paul out of the picture. Mr. Zero, revealed to be the
01:18:41formidable Sir Crocodile, tells Sunday to prepare for the final phase of their operation in Alabasta.
01:18:46He even addresses her by her real name for the very first time. Her name is Nika Robin,
01:18:51and she has a massive bounty of 79 million berries on her head. She gets annoyed when he uses her
01:18:56real
01:18:57name. But Crocodile calms her down, assuring her that everything is proceeding exactly as they have
01:19:02meticulously planned for years. Crocodile declares that Operation Utopia is officially underway,
01:19:07the codename for the total takeover of Alabasta. He believes that once this operation succeeds,
01:19:12they will be one step closer to finding the legendary One Piece treasure and ruling the seas.
01:19:16The Baroque Works headquarters is revealed to be a massive underwater base surrounded by deadly
01:19:21crocodiles. This chilling reveal marks the end of the current chapter of the story.
