00:00You have to be careful when you buy stuff from the thrift store, because you don't know where those items
00:05have been, who owned them, what they were used for, and sometimes you can bring something home with you.
00:12Now, there was this girl named Rebecca. Rebecca was from Burbank, California.
00:16One day, she sees this thrift store, and she goes in the door, and over in the corner, she notices
00:22this beautiful old canopy bed.
00:24And instantly, she says, you know, I have to have this bed.
00:28So, she buys it, and she brings it home.
00:31Well, that night, she goes to bed in this new bed that she just bought.
00:36And as she's sleeping, she begins to have this dream.
00:39And in this dream, she sees this man in a flannel shirt and jeans and his boots and his big,
00:45thick, gray beard.
00:47And this man begins to grab her by the arms, and he begins to scratch her and basically thrash her
00:53against the bed.
00:54And eventually, she wakes up, terrified, and she feels pain.
01:00And when she goes to the mirror, she notices she has these bruises and scratches all over her body.
01:05Well, the next night, this happens again.
01:07And the next night, and the next night.
01:09And then one night, she's too terrified to go to sleep.
01:12She's worried she's going to have these nightmares.
01:15But all of a sudden, as she's laying in bed, she begins to be lifted off her bed.
01:21She's hovering about three feet over the top of this canopy bed.
01:25And something is lifting her up.
01:27She couldn't move.
01:28She couldn't talk.
01:29This lasted for about 30 seconds.
01:31And then, plop, she falls onto the bed.
01:34And it was so loud that it wakes her daughter, who comes running in the bedroom.
01:38It's like, you know, what's wrong, Mom?
01:40And she says, nothing, honey, just go back to bed.
01:43So, this keeps happening, night after night.
01:45And then, she has to go out of town.
01:49So, she asks her friend to watch her house.
01:52Her friend comes over, and she stays there for a couple days.
01:56Well, Rebecca decides to give her a call and ask her how things are going.
02:01And that's when her friend, you know, starts crying on the phone.
02:04And Rebecca could tell that something was bothering her.
02:07So, she goes, you know, what's wrong?
02:08What's going on?
02:09And she goes, well, I slept in your bed.
02:11And I woke in the middle of the night to this old man standing at the foot of the bed.
02:16And I know he was there.
02:17I seen him like I'm freaked out.
02:20And when she describes this man, it is the exact man that Rebecca had seen in her dreams.
02:26So, immediately, she knew that something was wrong with this bed.
02:29So, when she gets back from out of town, she takes the bed, and she goes back to the store.
02:34And she goes inside, and she tells the manager, I don't want this bed.
02:37And you can have it.
02:37Like, there's something wrong with it.
02:39And she said the manager just kind of looked at her and was like, you know, it's crazy that you
02:44brought this bed back.
02:45Because not even a couple weeks ago, you know, before you bought this bed, this bed was brought back to
02:52us.
02:52We had sold it the first time.
02:54And the lady who bought it said that she didn't want it because there was something wrong with it.
02:59And so, Rebecca's like, you know, well, how did you guys get this bed?
03:02She said, well, there was this estate of this old man who passed away.
03:07And this was his bed.
03:08And one of the items that was given to the thrift store.
03:11And so, immediately, Rebecca felt like that must have been the old man that I was seeing in my dreams.
03:16And so, Rebecca's like, you know, I'm going to go to the thrift store and I'm going to go to
03:16the thrift store.
