00:00As thousands of Europeans gear up to jet off for the Easter holiday, which European airports
00:05have the most expensive parking?
00:11Despite the Easter holidays getting off to a bad start amid airport strikes and flight
00:16price hikes due to the war in Iran, many Europeans are still expected to hit the road.
00:22But while factoring in flights and accommodation to your holiday budget is par for the course,
00:27it's easy to ignore the cost of airport parking.
00:30The UK and the Netherlands are the European countries with the most expensive parking
00:35in the 30 busiest airports in Europe, according to a study from Vignette, Switzerland.
00:41London's Tensted Airport emerges as Europe's most expensive for 24-hour parking, charging
00:47around 66 euros.
00:49However, not all airports in the city charge the same prices.
00:53For instance, a traveler parking at London's Tensted will pay nearly double what they would
00:59at London Heathrow, Europe's busiest airport.
01:02Manchester Airport follows closely at around 58 euros, while Amsterdam's Kip Hall charges
01:0955 euros.
01:11The difference in parking prices across Europe is also striking.
01:15London's Tensted's 24-hour rate is nearly 50% more expensive than Copenhagen Airport at
01:2135 euros and 75 cents and substantially higher than Oslo Airport at 34 euros and 88 cents.
