If Dawood Ibrahim is another name for terror and terror has an address, it is White House 13, Clifton in Karachi, Pakistan.

00:00The place I'm standing right now is the starting point to what is the street where the house of
00:05Dawood Ibrahim is located. This visual is from the real Clifton road in Karachi and this one
00:10from Dawood's den in Durrandar. White House, Clifton. It's an address that's come up for
00:15years, often in the same breath as Dawood Ibrahim, even in Interpol records. But what's actually here
00:20is not quite what you'd expect. Much of what we know about this location comes from a 2011
00:25headlines today ground report, one of the few detailed accounts from inside Clifton. So it's
00:29not one big imposing mansion. What people call the White House is a cluster of five single
00:34storey bungalows spread across about an acre of land. Tall coconut trees keep most of it
00:39hidden. Two white structures on either side, an off-white house in the centre marked 105
00:44slash 11, another one sitting quietly at the pack. The location itself is highly strategic.
00:50It sits less than 2km from the Naval Airways PNS Mehran and under 500m from the Shrine of
00:55Shah Abdullah Ghazi, a revered Sufi figure often seen as a spiritual protector of the city.
01:01This stretch of Clifton road feels nothing like the rest of the city. The streets are
01:04clean, immaculately maintained and unusually quiet. There are no auto rickshaws here. Instead,
01:09land cruisers and S-Class Mercedes move in and out of large gated homes. This is a neighbourhood
01:14designed for privacy, where movement is limited and visibility is low. The compound itself reflects
01:21that same aesthetics. The boundary walls rise to about seven feet without barbed wire or overt
01:26fortification, but with constant human surveillance. Despite being repeatedly linked to Dawood,
01:31Brian, no single property at this address has ever been definitively confirmed as his residence.
01:36Over the years, however, reports of his address have constantly changed within Karachi and even
01:40outside the city, none of them have been verified, which is where the contrast becomes clear. In
01:50styleised interiors, high security entry points and the scale of a central command hub. On the ground,
01:55it's something far less cinematic, a guarded compound on a quiet, high security road,
02:00where access is restricted and details are limited. Tell us where you think Dawood
02:04the rhyme lives. I'm Manishwadigari. Thank you for watching the culture project on MOH.
