00:00Have you, in negotiations that you have been privy to, ever seen a commander-in-chief say that peace negotiations
00:09were ongoing while simultaneously threatening the nation in question with physical force?
00:15No, I don't think anybody ever has.
00:18It's clear that there's this toxic mix of traits that Donald Trump has, which is he's a pathological liar.
00:25He is incompetent on so many fronts, and he's also deeply corrupt, which I think is now being manifest, manifesting
00:31itself in terms of the Gulf War.
00:33That's why you have these wholly incoherent, wholly inconsistent flailing about, because, first of all, again, there was no real
00:40rationale for this war.
00:41Secondly, he's trying to figure out what his next move is, and he doesn't understand exactly how he's going to
00:45get himself out of this mess.
00:46And thirdly, the Iranians now seem to have a lot more influence and cards to play, especially in terms of
00:52the Strait of Hormuz and allowing shipping to get out or not.
00:56And so, therefore, I think Donald Trump is trying to present a false narrative to the American public by saying,
01:01yes, the Iranians now seem more reasonable.
01:03They're trying to negotiate.
01:04But, you know, he's protected himself for so many years in this cocoon of disinformation.
01:10But the reality now is just penetrating and taking away that cocoon.
01:16So, there's no doubt about it.
