00:10I mean, let's just talk about inflation, which is the name of the game.
00:13Okay, highest disapprovals on inflation about this time in a presidency.
00:17Whenever you have Joe Biden and Jimmy Carter on the board,
00:20and you're matching them or slightly exceeding them when it comes to inflation, you know it's bad.
00:25Look at this, 72% in our latest CNN poll say they disapprove of the president,
00:30on inflation. Joe Biden, an average of polls at this point in his presidency, 68%.
00:34And Jimmy Carter, whose presidency, just like Joe Biden's, was absolutely wrecked by inflation,
00:40was at 66% about at this point in his presidency back in 1978.
00:45Donald Trump, even worse than they are.
00:48So you see it here, and the one word is, or phrase I might say is,
00:53oh my goodness gracious, what a disaster.
00:56And just what's so interesting here is inflation was way, way higher.

01:01So they just, right now, voters don't like what the president is doing on it,
01:04even if it isn't as high as it was at these other times.
01:07What about gas prices?
01:08What about gas prices, which of course is part of this inflation picture,
01:12only making this number climb ever higher.
01:14How about disapprove on gas prices?
01:16Okay. Disapproval ratings on gas prices.
01:18Biden's worst number, his worst number in any poll I could find,
01:22was 72% disapprove of Joe Biden on gas prices.
01:26Donald Trump right now in our CNN poll, 76%, 76%.
01:31Three in four Americans disapprove of the way that Donald Trump is handling gas prices.
01:37And again, the gas prices were higher during Biden,
01:40but the increase has been so dramatic.
01:43Under the last month, under Donald Trump,
01:45we're talking about an increase of about a dollar.
01:47It's the highest increase that we've seen since at least 1991 in terms of raw dollars.
01:52No wonder this number is so high.
01:54He is beating or doing even worse than Joe Biden was on gas prices,
01:58which of course was such a major issue.
02:01So talk about his disapproval on the economy.
02:03Put it in historical perspective.
02:04Okay. So you see the gas prices here.

02:11You know, you mentioned it was the worst in terms of the approval rating for Donald Trump
02:15in any poll we've conducted.
02:17How about highest disapprovals on the economy about this point in term two?

02:21These are the worst.
02:22In our poll, 69% disapproved of Donald Trump on the economy.
02:26For George W. Bush, it was 57% in terms of the average.
02:29Barack Obama, 56%.
02:31Donald Trump is crushing him on a metric.
02:33You don't want to be crushing anybody on which is disapproval ratings on the economy.
02:37He's double digits.
02:38Of course, I was looking at some other polling data also above the 57% and 56%.
02:42The worst of all time at this point in term number two.
02:46It's the economy dragging Trump down, being, of course, accelerated by inflation being so bad.
02:52And of course, the gas prices just adding up.
02:54It's like a pancake tower and you're just reaching the top.
02:57And this is not a tower you want to climb.
