00:24You know, I was alive, I was in high school in 1979,
00:29when they took the hostages and, you know, I remember when Reagan came in and,
00:36you know, I believe in might, I believe in strength, so I think he's doing a good job.
00:57No, we shouldn't be involved in that war.
01:00I'm an ex-Marine, not ex-Marine, but not functioning Marine.
01:05And so I have a great respect for the office of the presidency as the commander-in-chief,
01:12but we should not be in that war because Iran has not attacked us.
01:16They have not done anything to us.
01:18It's being ran on the premise that they would get some enriched uranium and attack us.
01:26I don't think that's the case.
01:29So, no, we should not be in that war.
01:44All that, I believe it's all for the good.
01:46It's just going to be a time period we got to be patient and let it work itself out.
01:50And the ground troops, I say take both those islands, go pull these mines up out of the ground.
01:58I believe a couple of countries are on board with us once we take those countries,
02:02one on by ourselves, unfortunately.
02:05I think then everything will start being a whole lot of difference.
02:09You might see gas come down to $1.60 a gallon.
02:11They've got so much bottled up in the ships that they can't get through.
02:15They've got to get rid of it.
02:16So it's all going to come at one time and it's just going to be so, I believe, it'd be
02:21cheap.
02:37Personally, I don't think we belong over there.
02:41Because they've been fighting ever since before Bible days and they're going to be fighting after we pull out.
02:48That's the way I feel about it.
02:50If they want to fight, let them fight.
02:53And then go in there afterwards if you want to.
02:55Clean up both countries and then let them start over.
03:00But not the way they're doing it.
03:02That's just like another Vietnam War.
03:05Vietnam wasn't nothing but a war to send people out.
03:08That's what I believe.
03:10And that's what's happening right here in the United States.
03:26The war is directly affecting us and I think...
03:29But not as much as like, I mean, we're not being bombed.
03:32I mean, the other countries are...
03:35It's awful what's actually happening to these children and these lives.
03:39And, you know, it's horrible.
03:42And I don't think people can empathize or use their empathy anymore.
03:47I think it's tough because people want to trust their leaders and the people that they go for.
03:52And they're being told there's an imminent threat in Iran.
03:55And they've been told that for many, many years.
03:58But I just don't see factual evidence towards that.
04:01And so it's difficult for me to say, yeah, let's make the same mistakes as before.
04:07Unless you declare yourself as a neocon, I think it's really indefensible.
04:10And personally, in general, indefensible to hold you.
04:14Iran is, A, a threat to the United States.
04:17B, that we're in some way neutralizing that supposed threat.
04:21Or C, that it's worth it.
04:23So, yeah, not pro-war and Iran.
04:26I think you're going to see the same rollback that you saw with Iraq.
04:45I feel, like they said, it's this war on choice.
04:48He didn't have to do that.
04:49He had this concentration going about Epstein Falls.
04:52He needed something to take it away from that.
04:56And that's he went to war.
04:57And it's hurting everybody.
04:59Not just everybody.
05:00Not just the United States.
05:01Everybody.
05:02The price of fuel.
05:03And he did say, I can ruin the whole economy, his self.
05:07And that's what he's doing now.
05:09With that war, that is what he's doing now.
05:12I lost money in the, I've got money in the stock market.
05:15I lost money in the stock market because of him.
05:25Well, I ain't put any disc, disc calls for premium gas.
05:28And just don't have a five gallon tank.
05:31But I go to Fredericksburg, I used to go three times a week for my leg.
05:35I got diabetes or I got a diabetic laying pain.
05:40And I go down and it's 41 miles one way.
05:43So that's 81 miles.
05:44And that's, I have to fill it three times a week going down there.
05:48It's just crazy, man.
05:49The price is going up.
05:50And he don't care.
