തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് അടുത്തതോടെ തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മയും ചര്‍ച്ചകളില്‍ നിറയുകയാണ്. തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മ പരിഹരിക്കുമെന്നതടക്കം വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കിയാണ് കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ട് തവണയും ഇടത് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അധികാരത്തില്‍വന്നത്. ഒരു പതിറ്റാണ്ട് ഭരണത്തിന് ശേഷം, ഇതില്‍ 97 ശതമാനം വാഗ്ദാനങ്ങളും പാലിച്ചുവെന്നണ് അവകാശപ്പെട്ടാണ് എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനെ അഭിമുഖീകരിക്കുന്നത്.
