00:00Il y a des risques de la pandémie.
00:30Il y a des risques de la pandémie.
01:01Il y a des risques de la pandémie.
01:13Il y a des risques de la pandémie.
01:27On l'opening day, we know that there will be collectors of women marching on the opening match in Mexico
01:35City to call on for justice for loved ones who have been disappeared.
01:40And that's the sort of march that needs to be respected, needs to be facilitated, allowed.
01:45And the risk is that with such a security apparatus in place, that it would be prevented.
01:50In Canada, there are issues as well.
01:53So there have also been restrictions on protests in Canada.
01:56But also one of the issues that Canadian groups have been raising quite a lot is about the impact the
02:02tournament could have on homeless populations and people experiencing homelessness.
02:07So there is a history of this in Vancouver.
02:10When Vancouver hosted the 2010 Olympics, there were increases on street sweeps of homeless people being moved on from their
02:18encampments.
02:18And there's quite a significant homelessness problem in both Vancouver and in Toronto.
02:24And the fears are that efforts to beautify the cities, to make them clean for visitors and, you know, to
02:31look lovely, will come at the expense of populations who need support and need housing and need access to services.
02:39And so that's been raised as a real risk in Canada that the authorities there need to be much more
02:45proactive.
