00:24that out but today we're at the beautiful gogmo gold golf club here in cambridge i think up there
00:29as one of the best if not the best golf course in cambridge i'm really excited to see what the
00:34white envelope has in store for me today so let's over to the clubhouse and see what's inside not
00:40there oh hello we're in business a poem again breaking 80 today in this challenge match will
00:52make you a winner but beware of the catch make a bogey or worse lose a club or two with

00:59you gain one and should see you through okay i think it's pretty self-explanatory gotta break 80
01:07but it sounds like if i make a bogey i lose a club make a double bogey i lose two

01:12but if i make a birdie i get one black wow thinking about my round on sunday if i'd have

01:19challenge on sunday with my score i would have finished the round with three clubs i'm not confident
01:28no idea where it went but it felt like it went straight so because it's constrained to the sun

03:33okay so looking at the stats from real golfers about birdies and bogeys
03:37obviously got this from arcos who track an awful long number of shots and a five handicapped golfer
03:44will make a bogey or worse on 44 percent of holes so the stats are definitely against me here
03:50the stats would suggest i'm losing you know i'm going to be losing about seven or eight clubs during
03:55this round of golf it's not looking good but i've made a relatively positive start and hoped i can
04:00go against the tide and complete this challenge
04:04so 135 left just be a smooth nine iron

13:43So out it comes from the doldrums back into the bag. So I'm now up to 11 clubs. I'm doing
13:51quite well, I've got to say. Three over par on a par 70 course with five holes left.
13:57I'm feeling confident I can do this. Come on. Right, hole 14, the last par five here at Gogba Gog.
14:04Again, 500 yards should be a makeable birdie chance. I don't know who sets these challenges,
14:10but I feel like they could have given me something a bit more difficult.

15:33this 9th, which is definitely going to get it done. 16th hole, it's a par 4, a long one,
15:39447 yards. So to sum up, I am three over par gross with three holes left, 11 clubs in the
15:47bag. So I've
15:48got to play the last three holes in six over to complete the challenge. Nice going. I don't know
16:00what that might be fine. Just right at the cross bunkers. Oh, it's in the bunker. Spin, spin, spin.
16:14Well, this is absolutely lightning fast. So I need to be careful.
16:26Double. I've been a bit too careful. Double. Two clubs need to go, so I'm going to pick at random.
16:41First one, 60 degree wedge. Club I just used for that bunker shot. It's gone.
16:49I can't believe that. So I've got no three-wood and no driver now. Luckily, there's only par
16:56three and then the par four to finish. So I'm going to be without a long club for one hole,
17:02but that is not the club I want it to pick. I'm absolutely gutted. It's on, let me tell you.
17:07It's touch and go now. Hole 17. So I'm feeling a bit nervous now. I thought it was going to
17:13be easy,
17:14but that's just double bogey. It's just completely thrown me.

17:38Right. Here we are. Eighteenth hole. Beautiful backdrop to this finishing hole. I'll show him

17:47That's a good thing. But for me, driver is probably the straightest club in my bag.
17:51A five or a six is enough to complete the challenge. So I am confident, but you never know.
