00:14In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, peace be with you,
00:19we acknowledge our sins, more importantly the compassion, the mercy, and the love of God.
00:24Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins,
00:34and lead us into healing and life everlasting.
00:38Let us pray. O God, who have made all those reborn in Christ a chosen race and the royal priesthood,
00:47grant us with great the grace to will and to do what you command,
00:52that the people called to return a life may be one in the faith of their hearts and the homage
00:59of their deeds.
01:00So our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you, and the Holy Spirit, God, forever and
01:08ever. Amen.
01:21A reading from the prophet Ezekiel. The Lord says this, I'm going to take the sons of Israel from the
01:29nations where they have gone.
01:31I shall gather them together from everywhere and bring them home to their own soil.
01:36I shall make them into one nation and my own land and on the mountains of Israel, and one king
01:44is to be king of them all.
01:46They will no longer form two nations, nor be two separate kingdoms.
01:51They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and their filthy practices and all their sins.
01:59I shall rescue them from all the betrayals they have been guilty of.
02:05I shall cleanse them, they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
02:11My servant David will reign over them, one shepherd for all.
02:15They will follow my observances, respect my laws, and practice them.
02:21They will live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, the land in which your ancestors lived.
02:27They will live in it, they, their children, and their children's children forever.
02:33David, my servant, is to be their prince forever.
02:38I shall make a covenant of peace with them, an eternal covenant with them.
02:43I shall resettle them and increase them.
02:46I shall settle my sanctuary among them forever.
02:49I shall make my home above them.
02:52I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
02:55And the nations will learn that I am the Lord, the sanctifier of Israel,
03:00when my sanctuary is with them forever.
03:05The word of the Lord.
03:07Thanks be to God.
03:09The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:12The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:16O nations, hear the word of the Lord.
03:19Proclaim it to the Father of Christ.
03:21Say, he who scattered Israel will guard them, and guard them as a shepherd guards his flock.
03:27The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:31For the Lord has ransomed Jacob, has saved him from an overpowering hand.
03:36They will come and shout for joy on Mount Zion.
03:40They will stream to the blessings of the Lord.
03:43The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
03:47Then the young girls will rejoice and will dance.
03:50The men, young and old, will be glad.
03:52I will turn their mourning into joy.
03:54I will console them and give them gladness for grief.
03:58The Lord will guard us like a shepherd guarding his flock.
04:02Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
04:06Rid yourself of all your sins and make a new heart and a new spirit.
04:11Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ, King of endless glory.
04:18The Lord be with you.
04:20A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
04:24Glory to you, O Lord.
04:25Many of the people who had come to visit Mary and had seen what Jesus did believed in him.
04:32But some of them went to tell the Pharisees what he had done.
04:38Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting.
04:42Here is this man working all these signs, they said.
04:46And what action are we taking?
04:48If we let him go on in this way, everybody will believe in him.
04:53And the Romans will come and destroy the holy place and our nation.
04:58One of them, Caiphas, the high priest that he has said.
05:02He don't seem to have grasped this situation at all.
05:06He failed to see that it is better for one man to die for the people than for the whole
05:11nation to be destroyed.
05:13He did not speak in his own person.
05:15It was as high priest that he made this prophecy that Jesus was to die for the nation.
05:21And not for the nation only, but to gather together in unity the scattered children of God.
05:28From that day they were determined to kill him.
05:32So Jesus no longer went about openly among the people.
05:36But left the district for a town called Ephraim.
05:41In the country bordering on the desert.
05:44And stayed there with his disciples.
05:46The Jewish Passover and many of the country people who had gone up to Jerusalem to purify themselves.
05:54Looked out for Jesus.
05:56Saying to one another as they stood about in the temple.
06:00What do you think?
06:01Will he come to the festival or not?
06:05The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
06:08Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
06:12We are on the eve of Palm Sunday.
06:17And Palm Sunday Holy Week starts.
06:21The drama is on.
06:24We can think of past events that happened.
06:27But it's also, that is true, that is right.
06:31But it's also about the now.
06:33We are caught up in that drama.
06:36It is also our story.
06:38We are called to holiness.
06:41Die to sin.
06:42Be purified.
06:44Live fully our lives.
06:47Let us continue to say that be yes to our God.
06:50Ask for the grace to purify us.
06:52And for us to cooperate.
07:01Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:04For to your goodness we have this bread to offer.
07:07Which earth has given human hands and made.
07:09It will become for us the bread of life.
07:12Blessed be God forever.
07:31Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
07:34For to your goodness we have this wine to offer.
07:36Fruit of divine work of human hands.
07:38It will become our spiritual drink.
07:41Blessed be God forever.
07:45Lord God, we ask you to receive us.
07:46Let us pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God our almighty Father.
08:03May the Lord accept the sacrifice at our hands.
08:07For the praise and glory of God's name.
08:09For our good and the good of God's Holy Church.
08:13May the gifts we offer from our fasting be acceptable to you, O Lord, we pray.
08:18And as an expiation for our sins.
08:21May they make us worthy of your grace.
08:24And lead us to what you promise for eternity.
08:28Through Christ our Lord.
08:29Amen.
08:52The Lord be with you.
08:54Lift up your hearts.
08:56Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
08:58It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give you thanks.
09:05Lord, Holy Father, almighty and eternal God.
09:08For through the saving passion of your Son, the whole world has received a heart to confess the infinite power
09:15of your majesty.
09:16Since, by the wondrous power of the cross, your judgment on the world is now revealed and the authority of
09:23Christ crucified.
09:24And so, Lord, with all the angels and saints, we too give you thanks, as in exaltation we acclaim.
09:31Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of hosts.
09:35Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
09:38Hosanna in the highest.
09:40Blessed is he who comes.
09:42In the name of the Lord.
09:44Hosanna in the highest.
09:46You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness.
09:50Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the youthful, so that they
09:57may become for us the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
10:01At the time he was betrayed, and entered willingly into his passion, he took bread.
10:07And giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
10:12Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for
10:18you.
10:23In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, he gave it
10:30to his disciples, saying,
10:32Take this, all of you, and drink from it, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of
10:38the new and eternal covenant,
10:40which will be put out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.
10:45Do this in memory of me.
10:53The mystery of faith.
10:56Save us, Savior of the world, for by your cross and resurrection you have set us free.
11:03Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and
11:10the chalice of salvation,
11:11giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
11:17Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the
11:23Holy Spirit.
11:25Remember, Lord, your Church, spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity,
11:30together with Leo our Pope, me your unworthy servant, and all the clergy.
11:37Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
11:42and all who have died in your mercy.
11:45Welcome them into the light of your face.
11:48Have mercy on us all, we pray, that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, Blessed Joseph, her spouse,
11:54with the blessed Apostles, and all the saints who have preached you throughout the ages,
12:00we may merit to be coerced to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.
12:11Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
12:16all glory and honour is yours for ever and ever. Amen.
12:22At the Saviour's command and former divine teaching, we dare to say,
12:26Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
12:30Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
12:35Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
12:39as we forgive those who trespass against us.
12:42And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
12:46Deliver us, Lord, from every evil. Graciously grant peace in our days.
12:51In your mercy keep us free from sin and safe from all distress,
12:56as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
13:02For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
13:06Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles,
13:09Peace I leave you, my peace I give you.
13:11Look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church.
13:15And graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will,
13:19who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
13:22The peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
13:26Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
13:30Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:34Have mercy on us.
13:36Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:39Have mercy on us.
13:41Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
13:45Grant us peace.
14:02Behold the Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
14:05Happy are those who are called to the Supper of the Lamb.
14:09Lord, I am a word that you shall enter under my roof,
14:12but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
14:17Amen.
14:18My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
14:22I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
14:27Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
14:31commonly, spiritually into my heart,
14:33I embrace you as if you were already there,
14:36and unite myself wholly to you.
14:38Never permit me to be separated from you.
14:42Amen.
14:43Let us pray.
14:45Have mercy, Lord, on your church as she brings you her supplications,
14:49and be attentive to those who incline their hearts before you.
14:55Do not allow, we pray, those who you have redeemed
14:59by the death of your only begotten Son
15:01to be harmed by their sins or weighed down by their trials.
15:06Through Christ our Lord.
15:08Amen.
15:09The Lord be with you.
15:11And may the peace and the blessing of the Father and of the Son
15:14and of the Holy Spirit come upon you and remain always with you.
15:18Amen.
15:19Let us go and proclaim the Gospel by our lives.
15:23Thanks be to God.
15:24And may this be a blessed and holy week for you coming up.
15:29God bless you.
15:30God bless you.
15:34Amen.
15:35Amen.
15:36Amen.
15:37Amen.
15:37Amen.
15:38Amen.
