00:00In 1569, one of the most significant events of the Wars of Religion in France marked life
00:06of the Huguenots.
00:08It is about the death of Louis de Bourbon, prince of Condé, in the battle of Jarnac.
00:13Nostradamus, with his usual prophetic vision, left us a quatrain that seems to describe the tragic fate of this military leader.
00:20In his quatrain 330 we read,
00:22He who, with Luis and iron in military action, will have directed much more than Luis the prince.
00:28At night in a bunk, six will make the pike at him naked without armor, he will suddenly be surprised.
00:34Louis, the Prince of Condé, a prominent Huguenot commander, was a fierce opponent of the Royal House.
00:40In 1560 he participated in the Ambois conspiracy, which resulted in a massacre of Huguenots.
00:46And in 1567, in a plot against King Charles IX and his mother Catherine de Medici.
00:53In his constant struggle, the Prince of Condé suffered several defeats, and finally, in 1569, he died at the Battle of
01:02Jarnac.
01:02The prophet seems to announce that, although fighting bravely, his fate was sealed.
01:08But the fate of the Huguenots did not end there.
01:11Gaspar de Coligny, his comrade in arms, continued the resistance.
01:16Until in 1572, an attack left him seriously wounded.
01:20This wound was the prelude to his death, under circumstances that Nostradamus described in his quatrain 330.
01:27At night, in bunk 6, they will make the devil out of him.
01:30Naked, without armor, he will suddenly be surprised.
01:33This verse refers to the cruel murder of Coligny in the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre.
01:39Six men attacked him and brutally killed him while he was still in his bed.
01:44A turning point that marked France.
01:46But the religious violence did not end there.
01:49King Charles IX, influenced by his mother, gave a fateful order.
01:54This decision culminated in the horrific St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre, which shook the foundations of the nation.
02:00Nostradamus also predicted these events in his quatrain 410, referring to the young Prince Henry of Navarre.
02:08The young prince, falsely accused, stirred up confusion and fighting in the countryside.
02:13The chief was wounded by the support.
02:15Nostradamus refers to Prince Henry, who was unjustly accused of the attack on Coligny.
02:21As for King Charles IX, his health had already been seriously affected.
02:26In 1574, he died of scrofula, a tuberculous disease, mentioned by Nostradamus.
02:42Nostradamus also predicted the chaos of political intrigues, as can be read in his 1565 almanac.
02:49It reflects the internal struggles and false accusations that shook European courts, creating distrust.
02:56This journey through the texts of Nostradamus shows us how historical events and prophetic visions intertwine,
03:04reflecting the struggle for power, betrayals, and violence that marked a turbulent era in Europe.
03:11These texts are part of the first century of the book Prophetic Chronology of Nostradamus.
