00:12On Unidentified.
00:14We had been hearing rumors that there was a senior Navy official in the Italian government
00:20who may be interested in speaking with us.
00:22In Sicily, a craft appeared and it shot, right?
00:29This is nuts.
00:31These are all their...
00:32Tom, these are all their events.
00:34This is it.
00:35This is the briefing.
00:36This has just now crossed the line to a true national security threat.
00:40This is a worldwide phenomenon.
00:42Is it interdimensional?
00:43Is it from another planet?
00:46There's a whole fleet of them.
00:48My gosh.
00:50For eight years, Lou Elizondo ran a secret UFO investigation for the US military.
00:56But in 2017, he quit in protest.
00:59I put my entire future on the line because I believe in what I believe in.
01:02Now he's joined an elite group of former government insiders.
01:06Their mission, reveal what they say is the truth about UFOs.
01:09This is real and we're gonna get to the bottom of it.
01:12For the past year, Elizondo's investigation has produced shocking revelations from military eyewitnesses.
01:18That is something I have never seen.
01:21Two Navy fighter pilots told him they came face-to-face with a tic-tac-shaped UFO in 2004.
01:28High G, rapid velocity, rapid acceleration.
01:31How can I possibly fight this?
01:34And a Navy radar operator said he tracked an entire fleet of the unidentified craft flying over the Pacific.
01:41I had these objects raining out of the sky.
01:44If these things are hostile, then we're screwed.
01:47But these stories were just the beginning.
01:49They're up there when we take off, and then we land, and my buddy that takes off an hour later
01:54has seen the same things.
01:56Lou Elizondo discovered a different class of UFOs, allegedly stalked Navy fighter pilots off the East Coast in 2015.
02:03It seemed like they were aware of our presence because they would actively move around us.
02:08And they even followed the pilots to the Middle East.
02:13We really have no idea what we're dealing with.
02:16But there's one thing his investigation has never found.
02:20Until now.
02:36Tell me about your journey and what it's been like so far in leaving the government.
02:43I don't know if it was a journey more or less than an odyssey that hasn't finished yet.
02:48It was probably one of the most difficult decisions I ever made in my life.
02:52With the ramifications that could be potentially disastrous.
02:56You know, it's not just me I got to worry about.
02:57I got to worry about my wife, my two daughters.
03:02I gave it all up to do what I thought was right.
03:09Half the people that I know think I'm crazy.
03:12The other half the people I know don't understand.
03:15At the end of the day, I hope that people a lot smarter than me will come out of the
03:20shadows and tell the government what they know.
03:23I did this because I needed our leadership and government to finally take notice.
03:29The only way I could fix the system was to fix it from the outside.
03:36Lou Elizondo and his partner Tom DeLong are on their way to Rome, Italy.
03:41When I was in the government, I just couldn't go to France or Italy and have a conversation about UFOs
03:48with their national defense apparatus.
03:50They'd been invited to a private meeting with senior Italian military officials concerned about UFO encounters.
04:01We had been hearing for a while rumors that there was a potential attack on an Italian aircraft.
04:10This is the first time that myself, even being an AATIP, was ever aware of an actual hostile act.
04:30Italy is one of the few nations that openly investigates UFOs.
04:36When Tom and myself first came to Italy, it was made very clear to us that this is not an
04:45Italian phenomenon.
04:45It's not an American phenomenon. It is indeed a global phenomenon.
04:49We believe that investigating and communicating the subject can help pull people of all nations together.
04:59Every government wants to keep extremely secret any information.
05:06Clarbruno Verduccio is a scientist and was a commander in an elite unit of the Italian Navy.
05:12For 15 years, he's been investigating unidentified craft with a team of researchers.
05:20So I know several information, but my government don't want to know.
05:27Because if my government knows, they must do something.
05:33Absolutely. I would like to see what you have. That's what I'd like to see.
05:38If I tell you something that is restricted, you must give us something of restricted.
05:46We are not Russian. We are brothers.
05:50You have to give me something of the same weight.
05:55I still have to be cognizant of the security clearance I hold.
06:00So please do not confuse my speaking in generalities as trying to avoid a question.
06:09During our time in the AATIP program, we were focused on only two primary objectives.
06:15Those two objectives, what is it and how does it work?
06:19We still don't know what they are, but we have a much better understanding now of how they work.
06:26We assembled more than 13,000 cases during the last 70 years.
06:34And we have a database.
06:35The Italians have accumulated one of the world's largest collections of data on unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAP.
06:42Unfortunately, if this is not shared with other people outside Italy, it's useless.
06:50We now have eyewitnesses
06:54from a broad range of individuals
06:57who have top secret clearances
07:08who are trained observers
07:12who are trusted to fly live munitions over cities
07:15and fight wars and win them on our behalf.
07:24For the first time, we are going to be guests of the Italian government.
07:28And we are going to be working with those individuals
07:31to see what they are willing to share with us.
07:33We would like to get into an information sharing agreement with them.
07:35Of course, at the unclassified level, but see what they are willing to share
07:38and see if anything that they share with us
07:40happens to match some of the same profiles we are seeing over here.
07:43There are an increasing number of people in the United States
07:49and the government
07:53that are beginning to take this conversation very seriously.
08:00I submit to you
08:04if any of these vehicles
08:10had a foreign adversary flag on the tail
08:20or identification number
08:24and they could come into our airspace without impunity
08:27it would be a national security issue.
08:36There's one incident in particular the officials want to discuss.
08:40On 2004 in Sicily, a craft appeared a few hundred of meters behind the captor tail
08:49and it shot a ray that destroyed helicopter wings.
08:58I can show you the photograph.
09:02That's what I'd like to see.
09:04This was the only helicopter in the airspace on a secret mission
09:07to actually investigate the UAP phenomenon off the coast of that island
09:12and it gets zapped.
09:13And there's several pictures from different cameras
09:16on the island of the same helicopter and a UAP following it.
09:20Coming up on Unidentified.
09:22So this was deliberate. You believe that it was a deliberate?
09:25In that case? Yes.
09:26I hate to say it, but they may have more information than we do even in the U.S.
09:30At this point, these things are coming up close and personal.
09:34We are being forced to address it.
09:36I thought it was an important thing for our country.
09:38I think people who run from this are absolutely wrong.
09:50In Sicily, a craft appeared a few hundred of meters behind the captor tail
09:58and it shot a ray that destroyed helicopter wings.
10:07I can show you the photograph.
10:10That's what I'd like to see.
10:12Clarbruno Verdruccio was a commander in the Italian military's equivalent of the U.S. Navy SEALs.
10:18He's describing a harrowing 2004 encounter between one of his military helicopters and a UFO.
10:24We can't use missiles against this device.
10:29So, you know, we can launch missile or the missile will be sent back.
10:36So this was deliberate? You believe that it was a deliberate?
10:40In that case, yes.
10:43Venga, venga.
10:44In 2004, a series of spontaneous fires broke out across northern Sicily, destroying homes and forcing evacuations.
10:52La situazione di via mare a Canneto di Caronia precipita.
10:56Stamattino un nuovo episodio con un'abitazione letteralmente distrutta dal fuoco.
11:01The Italian military sent a helicopter to investigate.
11:05Officials say the copter was chased by a saucer-shaped UFO
11:08that shot a powerful electromagnetic beam at its rotor.
11:12The helicopter was severely damaged, but able to land.
11:16The incident was photographed by a local resident.
11:20Locals had also reported seeing mysterious lights over the sea.
11:23For months, the military investigators were baffled.
11:27But they were able to piece together a few key details.
11:31This signal was absolutely directional.
11:36It was a beam.
11:39Che su una certa banda di frequenza noi li potevamo vedere.
11:43E che poi avevamo scoperto che quando loro usano le loro armi ad energia,
11:48they must go outside the stealth moat.
11:57Solo in quel momento noi li possiamo colpire
12:01with depleted uranian weapons.
12:07And now, what do you say to me?
12:10Militaries around the world have electromagnetic pulse weapons
12:13that produce quick bursts of energy that can destroy electrical systems.
12:16But the Italians claim the pulse fired in the attack on their helicopter
12:20destroyed its rotor.
12:22No known military has that capability.
12:25They were very pointed in matter of fact
12:27that these things had been kind of plaguing them for some time.
12:31One individual in particular provided some very, very detailed information
12:36to include some analysis on frequency.
12:39I hate to say it, but they may have more information
12:42than we do even in the U.S. potentially.
12:44The Italians say the spontaneous fires in northern Sicily
12:48were also caused by an electromagnetic beam
12:51which they say came from the ocean.
12:54So the target was found at a distance of around 80 kilometers.
13:00And the source was in the open sea.
13:03Do we have an altitude?
13:05Because it was in the bottom of the sea.
13:10Elizondo has heard reports of UFOs in the ocean before.
13:13We all very quickly realized that there was something in the water.
13:17The lights that are under the water.
13:19The lights that are under the water.
13:20And suddenly they cluck in the water.
13:21In the water.
13:22Yeah.
13:25You could use the same frequency to provide a radio beacon.
13:33To call them first.
13:37To attract them.
13:38To show them that we have understood their technology.
13:45communication.
13:48This was next level.
13:50One of our international friends
13:52may have even figured out a way to communicate.
13:57We didn't get that far at A-Tip.
13:58That's for damn sure.
14:07I can't answer that question.
14:09Of course.
14:09It's quite classified.
14:13I cannot speak on behalf of if other efforts had existed within the US government.
14:21In Russia.
14:22And now even in China.
14:25There is the tendency to organize at a government level.
14:30In order to study such phenomena.
14:33And to find results from these studies.
14:36You are aware of this?
14:37I am.
14:39I think we're all in the same boat.
14:43So my hope is with the help of you all and everybody else.
14:48We can move this topic forward.
14:51This affects humanity.
14:52This doesn't affect just one country.
14:54And so the question is in which way our association can help you.
15:02As the meeting winds down.
15:04Elizondo DeLong and the Italian officials agree to form a global partnership.
15:09If their governments won't take the threat seriously.
15:12They'll work together outside the system.
15:15The last moment or the last hour of our engagement with the Italian government.
15:20We were afforded a thumb drive.
15:22A thumb drive that has a tremendous amount of data on it.
15:26About UAPs and here particularly in Italy.
15:36These are all their.
15:38Tom.
15:38Yeah.
15:39These are all their events.
15:40I've got the whole thing here.
15:42These are all the events since 1901.
15:45Here in Italy.
15:46All the reports?
15:47All.
15:48The entire spreadsheet.
15:50All the lat longs and everything.
15:52Dude look at these.
15:53Look at these historical ones.
15:54This is nuts.
15:56Look you got some analysis.
15:59Oh man.
16:00This is the incident that happened down in Sicily.
16:02There it is.
16:03Look at that.
16:04That is incredible.
16:06This is it.
16:07And this is where they have the helicopters.
16:09Son of a.
16:10This is the briefing.
16:11There it is.
16:11Right behind it.
16:12Right?
16:13And then when you come over here.
16:14This is the actual top secret investigation they did.
16:17Here's the rotors.
16:19And here's a close up.
16:21Had any foreign adversary.
16:23Attacked.
16:24A.
16:25Military helicopter of another nation.
16:27That could be a sign of aggression for sure.
16:29And maybe potentially an act of war.
16:31So.
16:32That's a big deal.
16:33Coming up.
16:34On unidentified.
16:35What will your feelings be.
16:37If it turns out.
16:38That it is not a US capability.
16:40Then it's something else.
16:42We're at step four.
16:43And these things are at step 30.
16:44Or 300.
16:55It is incumbent upon any government.
16:57To protect its people.
16:59And if there's any military aircraft.
17:01That is interfered with.
17:03That could be a sign of vulnerabilities.
17:05And that's a huge issue.
17:14Hey.
17:15Hey Steve.
17:15Lou Elizondo is back from Italy.
17:17He's meeting up with his partner Steve Justice.
17:20Justice is the former director.
17:22Of advanced systems.
17:23For Lockheed Martin's.
17:24Legendary Skunk Works division.
17:26Here's the bottom line.
17:27There's three options.
17:30It's a foreign technology.
17:32The second option is.
17:33It's our technology.
17:35Something that we have managed to keep under wraps.
17:37For a super long time.
17:38The third option is that.
17:40This is.
17:41This is something else.
17:44Where does that leave us.
17:46Over the past year.
17:48Elizondo and Justice.
17:49Have met to explore possible explanations.
17:52For the incredible accounts.
17:53Of US military encounters with UFOs.
17:57They discussed whether UFOs.
17:59Could actually be top secret.
18:01American military test aircraft.
18:03And the pilots they interviewed.
18:04Were merely unwitting test subjects.
18:06I can't.
18:08Completely eliminate the fact that.
18:10You know.
18:10Those type of velocities.
18:12Potentially.
18:13Potentially.
18:14Are achievable.
18:15With.
18:16Certain technologies we have.
18:18It's possible.
18:19It could be because.
18:22You know.
18:23It was an operational test.
18:25You know.
18:26Not everybody gets to know everything.
18:28They also considered.
18:29Whether these UFOs.
18:30Could be advanced aircraft.
18:32From a foreign adversary.
18:35A foreign adversary.
18:36They would have to send in something.
18:37That's super sophisticated.
18:38And fast.
18:39That can get in.
18:40Look at what it is we're doing.
18:42And then get back out.
18:43Right.
18:43My greatest fear is that.
18:44An adversary did figure it out.
18:46And we are just.
18:49Way.
18:49Way.
18:49Way behind.
18:51The third.
18:52And most controversial theory.
18:54Is that these unidentified craft.
18:56Are not of this world.
18:58These.
18:59Things that we're seeing.
19:00They don't have.
19:01Wings.
19:02They don't have tails.
19:03They don't really have any.
19:04Cockpits that we can see.
19:05They don't have.
19:06Anything that we would normally associate.
19:08With the traditional aircraft.
19:10Right.
19:10We can create.
19:12Systems that do.
19:13Pieces.
19:14Of each of these.
19:16And not.
19:17A single system.
19:18That does.
19:19All of these.
19:21Precisely.
19:22When we're at AATIP.
19:23We had some really smart people.
19:24These were scientists.
19:25Academics.
19:26Who had.
19:27Put a lot of time and effort.
19:28Into trying to figure out.
19:30The physics of this.
19:32We were looking at.
19:34What are these things.
19:35And what will it take.
19:37To explain them.
19:38And then to.
19:39Exploit them.
19:39And be able to build them.
19:41Although we were focused.
19:42On the nuts and bolts.
19:43We were trying to look at.
19:43All potential possibilities.
19:45And options.
19:45Of what this could be.
19:47Part of that was a commissioning.
19:48Of several studies.
19:49That has now become quite public.
19:5237 studies.
19:53Right.
19:55This declassified list of studies.
19:57Elizondo's secret UFO program commissioned.
19:59Was released to the public.
20:00In 2019.
20:02Thanks to the efforts.
20:03Of the late senator.
20:04John McCain.
20:06I'm going to pull up.
20:07Real quick here.
20:08The.
20:09This is a letter.
20:11Oh.
20:11This is the.
20:11McCain.
20:13Yeah.
20:13So.
20:13I think it's.
20:14It's important.
20:15We put this into context.
20:16This is the response.
20:18By DIA.
20:19To.
20:19The late senator.
20:20John McCain.
20:21Senator McCain.
20:22Has been there.
20:23Done that.
20:24Fought for this country.
20:25For him to take the time.
20:28To do this.
20:29I think it's very telling.
20:31And at this point in time.
20:32He knew what his fate was.
20:33As well.
20:34And so it's clear.
20:35He wanted to accomplish.
20:36Some things.
20:37In July 2018.
20:39Senator McCain.
20:40Sent a request.
20:41To the Defense Intelligence Agency.
20:43For all non classified documents.
20:44From Elizondo's secret program.
20:46To be released.
20:47To the public.
20:48Now that the list of studies.
20:49Has been released.
20:51By the US government.
20:53We really weren't looking at.
20:54Aircraft 40 years in the future.
20:56We were looking at.
20:57A paradigm changing technology.
20:59To try to help.
21:00Explain the phenomena.
21:01Correct.
21:02The biggest obstacle.
21:03These things have to overcome.
21:04Is a lot of these.
21:05Were typically classified.
21:06As pseudoscience.
21:07Right.
21:08The studies explored.
21:09Complex theoretical topics.
21:11Like invisibility.
21:12Wormholes.
21:13And anti-gravity.
21:15Subjects many believe.
21:16To be science fiction.
21:17This technology.
21:18Is for all intents and purposes.
21:20Magic.
21:21So you know.
21:22We would like to get it.
21:23Whoever cracks the code.
21:25And figures this stuff out first.
21:26Would have a tremendous advantage.
21:28Over our other adversaries.
21:30What will your feelings be.
21:32If it turns out.
21:33That it is not.
21:34A foreign.
21:36Technology capability.
21:37And it is not.
21:38A US capability.
21:41Then what.
21:43Then it's something else.
21:45Because it's hard to say.
21:46It's not there.
21:48The studies examined.
21:50Cutting edge theories.
21:51But they did not address.
21:52The question.
21:52That has shadowed.
21:53The UFO community.
21:54For decades.
21:55The possibility.
21:56That intelligent life.
21:57From another solar system.
21:58Has arrived on earth.
22:00The question.
22:01Has been debated.
22:02For decades.
22:03With no hard proof.
22:10The question.
22:11Whether or not.
22:11There's extraterrestrial life.
22:13Is certainly.
22:13A scientific question.
22:14That deserves investigation.
22:16Matthew Kleban.
22:17Is a leading theoretical physicist.
22:19At New York University.
22:20We now know.
22:21That our own galaxy.
22:22Contains.
22:22Of order.
22:23100 billion stars.
22:25And there are of order.
22:2610 or 100 billion.
22:27Other galaxies.
22:28That we can observe.
22:29Within the observable part.
22:29Of our universe.
22:30So you multiply.
22:31Those two numbers together.
22:32And it's a staggeringly.
22:33Huge figure.
22:34With the help.
22:35Of deep space telescopes.
22:37Astrophysicists.
22:38Estimate.
22:38That not only do.
22:39Billions of solar systems.
22:40Exist.
22:41In our observable universe.
22:42Up to one in four.
22:43Contain a planet.
22:45That could sustain life.
22:46It would be naive.
22:47To think.
22:48That.
22:49You know.
22:49We could be the only ones.
22:51Out there.
22:51And I get that.
22:53What I'm.
22:54What I'm always.
22:55Fearful of.
22:55Is in people.
22:56Focusing in.
22:56On aliens.
22:58Now you start going down.
22:59The roads of.
23:01You know.
23:01Is it.
23:02Is it from another planet.
23:03Is it interdimensional.
23:05You know.
23:06Is it spiritual.
23:07What is.
23:08Those things.
23:08And.
23:09It opens up.
23:10So many cans.
23:11Of worms.
23:12That I just.
23:14I just.
23:15Don't allow myself.
23:17To go down.
23:17That path.
23:18I mean.
23:19I think it's disingenuous.
23:20To say.
23:20It's not an option.
23:21It's so unknown.
23:23That we really.
23:24Have no idea.
23:25What we're dealing with.
23:31Busy morning so far.
23:32Lots going on actually.
23:34Lots of phone calls.
23:35And emails.
23:36On our favorite subject.
23:38So.
23:39Things are hopping.
23:42And.
23:43Very.
23:44Very much looking forward.
23:45To seeing the senator.
23:47Former deputy assistant.
23:48Secretary of defense.
23:49For intelligence.
23:50Chris Mellon.
23:51Is on his way.
23:52To meet with a powerful ally.
23:53In his mission.
23:53To get the government.
23:54To take the UFO threat seriously.
23:57Former senate majority leader.
23:58Harry Reid.
24:01Harry Reid was convinced.
24:03By doing his own.
24:04Research.
24:04That this was something.
24:06As an elected official.
24:07He should probably.
24:08Care about.
24:09And.
24:10He clearly convinced.
24:11Some of his colleagues.
24:11In the senate.
24:12That it was.
24:13Important enough.
24:13To look into.
24:14And that's how this.
24:15Pentagon program.
24:16Got started.
24:16In the first place.
24:17Senator Reid.
24:18Was the driving force.
24:19Behind the creation.
24:20Of the Pentagon's.
24:21Secret UFO unit.
24:22Known as.
24:23ATIP.
24:24Reid retired.
24:25From the senate.
24:25In 2017.
24:27But he's still working.
24:28Behind the scenes.
24:29To push the US government.
24:30To study.
24:31What he believes.
24:31Is a clear.
24:32And present danger.
24:33To national security.
24:34There's a lot.
24:35Of very.
24:36Profound.
24:37Very deep.
24:38Issues.
24:38That an individual.
24:39Like Harry Reid.
24:40He's acutely aware of.
24:41That he's been deeply.
24:42Involved with.
24:43And for him.
24:45Devote time.
24:46To this issue.
24:47In the twilight.
24:48Of his career.
24:49You know.
24:49It's fascinating.
24:53We've been in a.
24:54Quandary.
24:55We have.
24:56These.
24:56Very very.
24:58Proficient.
24:59Best trained pilots.
25:00In the world.
25:01And they see.
25:02These strange.
25:02Occurrences.
25:04And.
25:04In the past.
25:05They've been afraid.
25:06To say anything.
25:06To anyone.
25:07For fear they would be.
25:10A little strange.
25:11A little weird.
25:12So for.
25:13Decades.
25:14Nothing has been done.
25:14About these.
25:16Instances.
25:16What I wanted to do.
25:18Initially.
25:19Is.
25:20Provide an update.
25:21Mellon wants Reid.
25:22To know about.
25:23The increasingly dangerous.
25:24Military encounters.
25:25With UFOs.
25:26His team.
25:26Has uncovered.
25:29We've learned.
25:30That.
25:31Beginning in 2015.
25:33There were.
25:35Scores.
25:35Of encounters.
25:37Off the east coast.
25:37Of the United States.
25:38Between US.
25:39Naval fighters.
25:41And.
25:41Unidentified flying.
25:43Objects.
25:43Of different kinds.
25:45And.
25:46This was within.
25:46Minutes.
25:47Of a flying distance.
25:48From the nation's capital.
25:50This is still unresolved.
25:52And this is still continuing.
25:53And active duty pilots.
25:55Have approached us.
25:56And shared these stories.
25:57With us.
25:58Wherever we were.
25:59They were there.
26:00So that could mean.
26:00Two things.
26:01That could mean.
26:01They were already there.
26:02Or they were following.
26:03The strike group.
26:05One of the extraordinary.
26:06Things we learned.
26:06From these pilots.
26:07Is that when they're.
26:08Carrier battle group.
26:09Deployed.
26:10Across the Atlantic.
26:11They continue.
26:12To encounter.
26:12These things.
26:13All the way.
26:13Across the Atlantic.
26:15Into the Middle East.
26:16And.
26:17Even over Syria.
26:17We hear so much.
26:19About.
26:20Off the coast.
26:20Of Florida.
26:21And especially.
26:22Virginia.
26:23People think.
26:23That's.
26:24The only place.
26:25Unusual things.
26:26Happen.
26:26It's not true.
26:27It's all over.
26:28The world.
26:29Where we have battle.
26:30Groups.
26:31So this isn't anything.
26:32That just is limited.
26:33To the United States.
26:34It's a worldwide.
26:35Phenomenon.
26:36But we're finding.
26:37In both these.
26:38Legislative.
26:38And executive branch.
26:39This.
26:40Still lingering.
26:41Concern about a stigma.
26:42But I never.
26:42Head from it.
26:43I acknowledge it.
26:44I thought it was.
26:45Important thing.
26:46For our country.
26:47And I think people.
26:48Who run from this.
26:49Are absolutely wrong.
26:52Senator Reid.
26:53Secured funding.
26:54For the Pentagon.
26:55Secret UFO program.
26:56In part.
26:57Because he.
26:57And others.
26:58Had come to believe.
26:59America's adversaries.
27:00Were gaining.
27:00The advantage.
27:05Since I got interested.
27:06In this.
27:08Has been.
27:10KGB Putin.
27:11He was.
27:12Head of the KGB.
27:13And I guarantee you.
27:14That he's got.
27:15A lot of information.
27:16On this.
27:17And I would bet.
27:18That Russia.
27:19Is ahead of us.
27:20And.
27:21Looking into this.
27:21Scientifically.
27:22I don't know.
27:23If this might look familiar.
27:24This was.
27:24A briefing.
27:25Slide.
27:26A set of.
27:27Briefing charts.
27:28Prepared for the Deputy Secretary.
27:30Of Defense.
27:31In advance of a meeting.
27:32With you.
27:32And.
27:33I want to do.
27:34Since you mentioned.
27:35Vladimir Putin.
27:36This was.
27:372009.
27:382009.
27:39And so.
27:40A decade ago.
27:41It says.
27:42Quote.
27:43According to Putin.
27:44In the near future.
27:45Russia will have.
27:46Weapons systems.
27:47Which no other country.
27:48In the world has.
27:49At the given time.
27:50The newest.
27:51Technical systems.
27:52Will be capable.
27:52Of destroying targets.
27:53At an intercontinental distance.
27:55With hypersonic speed.
27:56And precision.
27:57And with extreme.
27:59Maneuverability.
27:59In altitude.
28:00And course.
28:01And I repeat.
28:02That is.
28:0310 years old.
28:04Correct.
28:05Think of.
28:05Progresses.
28:06That have made.
28:06Since then.
28:07And what have we been doing.
28:08Not much.
28:09Yes sir.
28:10And.
28:11We absolutely.
28:12Share your concern.
28:13And.
28:13One of the things.
28:14That is.
28:15Very frustrating to me.
28:16As a former.
28:16Defense Department.
28:17Myself.
28:18It's not even.
28:19Being examined.
28:19It's sitting on computer servers.
28:21You know why.
28:22They're not looking at it.
28:23They don't want to.
28:24It's another issue.
28:25That they're trying to ignore.
28:27And that's what's happened.
28:27Over the years.
28:28And that's too bad.
28:29We now have the technology.
28:30What else is going on.
28:32In the space.
28:32That we're.
28:33That information is coming in.
28:34It's all stored someplace.
28:35In a.
28:36Computer bank.
28:37And it could be pulled up.
28:38We're in an environment.
28:39Right now.
28:39Where there's sort of.
28:41Unprecedented distrust.
28:42Of our government.
28:43Do you have any reason.
28:44To believe.
28:44That there is a.
28:45Government cover-up.
28:46Of UFOs.
28:47That.
28:47That behind the scenes.
28:48The government actually.
28:49Really does.
28:51Know the answers.
28:52And has.
28:52I think the government.
28:54Doesn't know the answers.
28:55But over the decades.
28:57Rather than try to find the answers.
28:58They've tried to cover up.
29:00What the answers might be.
29:02In an effort to find answers.
29:03Read brought in.
29:04Aerospace entrepreneur.
29:06Bob Bigelow.
29:07And Bob Bigelow.
29:08You know.
29:08Been very open.
29:09About his views.
29:10That he believes.
29:11There are.
29:13You know.
29:13Intelligent beings.
29:14From.
29:15Some other place.
29:16That have visited here.
29:18Bigelow.
29:18Is one of the few.
29:19High profile.
29:20People involved.
29:20In the pentagon secret program.
29:22To say he believes.
29:23The unidentified craft.
29:25Are from another world.
29:27Bob Bigelow.
29:28Recently said.
29:29On national TV.
29:30That.
29:30He absolutely believes.
29:32Not only that alien life exists.
29:33But that aliens are here.
29:35That aliens are visiting.
29:36Earth.
29:37You share that view.
29:38I feel.
29:39It would be.
29:40From a.
29:41Congressional standpoint.
29:43It would affect my credibility.
29:45If I started talking about.
29:48Everything I know.
29:49Coming up.
29:51On unidentified.
29:52These are individuals.
29:52That have to remain.
29:54Very very much protected.
29:55Right before the meeting.
29:56Concluded.
29:57I was pulled aside.
29:58And shared some private information.
30:09Okay.
30:10So.
30:11It's a huge week for us.
30:12This is a really big moment.
30:14So talk to me a little bit about.
30:15Uh.
30:16Today.
30:16And the people we're meeting.
30:17I'll be introducing you.
30:19To an individual.
30:20That worked with me.
30:21When I was.
30:22With ATIP.
30:24Lou Elizondo and Tom DeLong.
30:27Are in Washington D.C.
30:28For a series of secret meetings.
30:30With government officials.
30:32The reason for this meeting.
30:33Is to basically.
30:35De-conflict and coordinate.
30:36Where are some of the areas.
30:37That we can continue to help.
30:39You know.
30:39Inform.
30:40And push the cause.
30:41And they are going to also.
30:42Let us know.
30:43What they're doing.
30:43On their end.
30:44We want to make sure.
30:45We don't step on each other's toes.
30:46And we can help each other out.
30:48Since he left the Pentagon.
30:49Elizondo has been working.
30:50To convince the military.
30:52To create a formal process.
30:53For pilots and others.
30:54To report their encounters.
30:56With UFOs.
30:57Just a year ago.
30:58If I wanted to have a conversation.
30:59In the halls of the Pentagon.
31:00About this.
31:01I had to go into a vault.
31:02That was located.
31:03Inside a skiff.
31:04I had to shut the door.
31:05Turn on noisemakers.
31:06And then I had to whisper.
31:07In a very quiet voice.
31:09Because of the nature.
31:10And the sensitivity.
31:11And the stigma.
31:12That was associated.
31:13With this portfolio.
31:14And I think that's important.
31:15Because I think.
31:16The conversation about this.
31:18Requires transparency.
31:19Requires collaboration.
31:20And it requires honesty.
31:22When you come across.
31:23When you come across.
31:24A game changing technology.
31:25It's very.
31:26Very important.
31:27That you report that up.
31:28Through.
31:29Through the chain of command.
31:32The Department of Defense.
31:33Says Elizondo's.
31:34Secret UFO program.
31:35Officially shut down.
31:36In 2012.
31:38But Elizondo says.
31:39The investigation continues.
31:41In the DOD.
31:42There's two.
31:43Things that occur.
31:44When you have an organization.
31:46There's paperwork.
31:47When you start a program.
31:47And there's paperwork.
31:48When you end a program.
31:50You won't find any paperwork.
31:52That ended ATIP.
31:53Over the past year.
31:55He's been communicating.
31:56Behind the scenes.
31:57With a new team.
31:58Of Pentagon intelligence officers.
32:00Who are studying UFOs.
32:03ATIP is no longer run.
32:05By a single office.
32:06There's now.
32:07Several offices.
32:08That are engaged.
32:09In this effort.
32:10We meet with.
32:12People regularly.
32:13Involved in this effort.
32:14And that's.
32:15About all I can say.
32:17Let's roll.
32:19Elizondo and DeLong.
32:20Head to a meeting.
32:21With three military.
32:22Intelligence officers.
32:24These are individuals.
32:25That have to remain.
32:27Very very much protected.
32:30There are.
32:31Extremely qualified people.
32:32Whom I trust.
32:33Whom I personally know.
32:35That are still running.
32:36This effort.
32:37And it is being run.
32:38With official blessing.
32:39And that is what.
32:40I'm prepared to say.
32:41I cannot go into.
32:42Any more than that.
32:48The meeting.
32:49Lasts for over an hour.
32:50Right before the meeting.
32:52Concluded.
32:52I was pulled aside.
32:53And shared some.
32:54Private information.
32:55That.
32:56There is still.
32:58Degree of animosity.
32:59Regarding my departure.
33:02I didn't ask for this portfolio.
33:04It was.
33:04It was given to me.
33:06And I.
33:06Committed myself.
33:07To it from day one.
33:08You know.
33:09You're given a mission.
33:10That you believe in.
33:12And your job.
33:13Is to finish that mission.
33:21Since he went public.
33:23Elizondo has been able.
33:24To bring military eyewitnesses.
33:25Out of the shadows.
33:26And on the record.
33:28We finally have.
33:30People having conversations.
33:32About this.
33:33Enigma.
33:34When I got called.
33:35To go to the Pentagon.
33:36And provide a.
33:37Now.
33:38Serious debrief.
33:39Um.
33:40It's a little surreal.
33:41People have testified.
33:43Before congress.
33:44These are active duty.
33:45Military personnel.
33:47Other people have had this issue.
33:48As well.
33:49So it's not a one off.
33:50With me.
33:51They have.
33:52Informed.
33:53Congress.
33:53We have the executive department.
33:55Engaged.
33:56So far.
33:57This group of individuals.
33:58Have made more progress.
34:00In getting this issue.
34:01Into the mainstream.
34:02And taken seriously.
34:04Than anybody has.
34:04In a very very long time.
34:05If ever.
34:07There's.
34:08A growing awareness.
34:09In congress.
34:10About this.
34:11But.
34:11I don't.
34:12Anticipate.
34:13That.
34:14Anytime soon.
34:15We're gonna have.
34:16UFO hearings.
34:17On Capitol Hill.
34:24It really goes against my DNA.
34:26To have gone.
34:27Quote unquote.
34:28Public with this.
34:29Do I think it was the right decision?
34:30I think it was the only decision.
34:32Because otherwise.
34:32Uh.
34:34We'd still.
34:35Be where we were.
34:36A year ago.
34:38Which is nowhere.
34:41Something unexplained.
34:42Is happening in the skies.
34:43Above the United States.
34:44Even the US Navy.
34:45Isn't certain.
34:45What is going on.
34:46In April 2019.
34:48The US Navy.
34:49Made an unprecedented announcement.
34:51It's creating a new protocol.
34:52For pilots.
34:53To report UFO sightings.
34:54The US.
34:55For Chris Mellon.
34:56The announcement.
34:57Is a major victory.
34:59Chris Mellon.
35:00Is a former Pentagon.
35:01Intelligence official.
35:01Chris.
35:01Thanks very much.
35:02For coming on.
35:03Thank you Tucker.
35:03It's an extraordinary turnaround.
35:05And it's really the result.
35:06Of an interaction.
35:07Between Congress.
35:08And the Navy.
35:10And the fact.
35:11That this has.
35:12Gotten on.
35:13On Congress's.
35:14Radar.
35:15Began some discussions.
35:16Which elevated.
35:17An issue.
35:18That before this time.
35:19Had been smothered.
35:20And kept at low levels.
35:21Of the bureaucracy.
35:25This is probably.
35:26Single-handedly.
35:26One of the greatest things.
35:27That the Navy.
35:28Could do.
35:29For this country.
35:30For Lou Elizondo.
35:31The new Navy policy.
35:33Is confirmation.
35:33Of everything.
35:34He's worked for.
35:35Over the past year.
35:36It's also an admission.
35:38The UFO phenomenon.
35:39Is real.
35:39And needs to be studied.
35:41They're writing policy.
35:42That rather than.
35:43Keeping people quiet.
35:44Will.
35:44Will encourage people.
35:46To come forward.
35:47Keep in mind.
35:47That the topic.
35:48Of UAPs.
35:49Just a year and a half ago.
35:50People were snickering.
35:51And laughing.
35:52Right.
35:52That was relegated.
35:53To.
35:53To be Hollywood movies.
35:55And.
35:55Cheap TV shows.
35:57And now.
35:57People are having.
35:58A real conversation.
36:00The Navy's.
36:01New UFO policy.
36:02Was first reported.
36:03By Politico's.
36:04Brian Bender.
36:07Lou Elizondo.
36:08Chris Mellon.
36:08And others.
36:09Have come forward.
36:10To try and get.
36:11The Pentagon leadership.
36:12To do more about this.
36:13To.
36:14Apply real resources.
36:15To try and figure out.
36:16Is it real.
36:18Is it an adversary.
36:19Is it something else.
36:20Where that will lead.
36:21I think remains to be seen.
36:34Hello there.
36:35Howdy gents.
36:36How are you?
36:37Fine.
36:37Hello.
36:37Hate to break up the party.
36:40Tom normally wouldn't do this.
36:41But.
36:42If you got a couple minutes.
36:43I need to give you a quick update.
36:44On a recent development.
36:45Let's do it.
36:46So Tom.
36:47This.
36:48This just hit the wire.
36:50This is a Politico article.
36:52The title is.
36:53U.S. Navy drafting new guidelines.
36:55For reporting UFOs.
36:57That's.
36:59Can you read the subtitle?
37:00That's insane.
37:02The fact that they're coming out now.
37:04And they're saying that this is real.
37:06And there's incursions over our sensitive sites.
37:09We're putting together a national security policy to track them.
37:12It's like insane to me.
37:14And to report them.
37:14So you're up.
37:15I think you can break it down to three things.
37:16My heart's like beating fast.
37:18Insane to me.
37:18I was like crazy.
37:19I'm pretty energized.
37:20There's three pieces to this article that I find most captivating.
37:24A. That the Navy is taking this seriously.
37:26B. It's establishing an official reporting mechanism.
37:28And see that they have been talking with members of Congress.
37:32And their staff.
37:33It not only vindicates a lot of the hard work.
37:35That's been going on behind the scenes.
37:38But also I think it's a testament to the brave men and women.
37:41In the U.S. Navy.
37:42Who want to figure out what these things are.
37:45I mean Tom.
37:45This is.
37:46This has been the culmination of all.
37:47My personally.
37:48All my effort.
37:50You know.
37:50I never did this for fame.
37:51Or status.
37:52Or damn sure not a paycheck.
37:54I'm doing this because I was trying to fix a broken system.
37:57Right.
37:57And as I've told people before.
37:58The only thing I managed to accomplish.
38:00In my entire new career moving forward.
38:03Is getting a reporting mechanism established.
38:06So people can report these things.
38:07Without fear of any type of retribution.
38:10Or any type of consequences professionally.
38:12Losing their security clearance.
38:13Or losing their flight status.
38:14Right.
38:14All the things that were bottlenecking me before.
38:18From having reports come out.
38:20That is the only thing I ever truly.
38:22What.
38:23That was mission success for me.
38:24And here we are.
38:25Literally a year and a half later.
38:27Of you coming on stage.
38:28And telling the world you're going to do this.
38:31It happened.
38:32It's absolutely wild.
38:34Exciting stuff.
38:34All right man.
38:35All right.
38:37The Air Force interest in this problem.
38:40Has been due to our feeling of an obligation.
38:43To identify.
38:46And analyze to the best of our ability.
38:48Anything in the air.
38:50That may have the possibility of threat.
38:52Or menace to the United States.
38:55At this point.
38:56These things are coming up close and personal.
38:58We are being forced to address it.
39:00We don't have the luxury to sit back anymore.
39:02As a country.
39:03And say.
39:04Let's not pay attention to that.
39:05We have to pay attention to it.
39:07Because now.
39:08It appears to be.
39:09Stalking.
39:10Some of our.
39:11DoD assets.
39:14At base.
39:15These are reports.
39:17From pilots.
39:18From military pilots.
39:19In the Navy today.
39:20Or very recently in the Navy.
39:22That have.
39:23Seen these phenomenon.
39:24And reported them.
39:26I was a witness to something.
39:28It's something that I.
39:29Happened to.
39:30To.
39:32Encounter.
39:33I don't know what it was.
39:34People ask me.
39:34What do you think it was?
39:36Do you think it was of this earth?
39:37Do you think it was aliens?
39:43If these things are out there.
39:44And we know they're out there.
39:45There's.
39:45There's enough credible.
39:46That says there's things that we don't understand.
39:48I can tell you that.
39:50The other people that were involved.
39:52All feel the same way.
39:53Not everyone is talking.
39:55Some of them are still on active duty.
39:57But.
39:58We all.
40:00We would love to know.
40:01What it is.
40:02I mean.
40:02I want to.
40:03I would love to fly it.
40:09We'd love to fly it.
40:10Is the story of the millennia.
40:13This is changing the world stuff.
40:15This really is in my heart.
40:17like I am a part of something, I created something that has an opportunity to
40:24change the world and I really feel that. That is why I'm doing this. For the first
40:29time in the history of our country and in the history of the subject, the stigma
40:34and the taboo nature about it just got shattered to a thousand pieces in the
40:47wind. We have an intelligence collection apparatus that is global in nature and
40:54exquisite from 22,500 miles above the Earth's surface to virtually the deepest
41:00levels of the ocean that may already have answers to many of the questions that we
41:06have. My hope is that members of Congress will simply ask the right questions.
41:13They have an opportunity when this information is provided to them to
41:18respond to it and act on it.
41:24I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we
41:31were facing an alien threat from outside this world.
41:36The day will come when this occurs to you that it's real, that there's some other
41:40intelligence here, that it's far more advanced than us, that it could do
41:45whatever it wants to us and we'd be powerless against it.
42:02At the end of the day, I don't care if you believe it. I know what I've seen.
42:07This stands as a reminder for everything that we do and how important it is. The job of every
42:12man and woman and civilian, sailor, soldier, airman in the military. We do what we do because
42:18of this and this is a reminder of that sacrifice.
42:24I am extremely optimistic that in a very short period of time, we're going to finally have answers and
42:32resolution to some long-standing questions. We have access to people, to efforts like never before.
42:42To places we could never go before. Maybe we can even build some things.
42:49I think we're going to have new events that America has never been made aware of.
42:54We're going to build this case so airtight that not only is it a beyond reasonable doubt situation,
43:02it will be irrefutable.
43:07I think we're upon a precipice. I think the time has finally come.
43:16One last question. Do you think the public can handle the truth?
