00:00I've had the pleasure of interviewing Yannick in German,
00:03where he's actually, he's great in English,
00:05but still, again, languages bring up different aspects.
00:09I have heard that, that he explains himself better in German.
00:12Oh, you cannot believe the way he speaks about tennis.
00:15In English too, but I do think he's sometimes a bit more guarded.
00:19He's also much funnier in German,
00:20or he's maybe just looser in the language he's grown up with.
00:24And I think languages bring out different aspects of personalities.
00:28And so I had the pleasure of interviewing him.
00:31And the way he speaks about tennis,
00:33when you ask him about specific tactics,
00:35I remember I interviewed him when he beat Ben Shelton in Wimbledon.
00:38It was a three-setter, but every set was incredibly close.
00:42And Ben was really, really good in that match.
00:46And I asked him about how he returns Ben's serve.
00:49And the intricate detail he went into,
00:54I got, so we, as you know, with interviews,
00:56we get, sometimes we get minutes,
00:59but oftentimes we get two questions.
01:01So what I try when I get two questions,
01:03particularly in German,
01:04where the English people that are standing behind,
01:07the Wimbledon people of England.
01:09They don't understand that you're asking two questions in one.
01:11And I try to put three questions into my first question.
01:14And I can see, Janik, you know,
01:16that meme of the woman with all the math numbers?
01:18I can see him going like, okay, where do I go first?
01:20But I'd rather have him pick out one.
01:23And he always picks out the tactical question every time.
01:26And he goes into depth and into detail.
01:29And that's why I'm so glad that you said that,
01:31because I don't think, yes,
01:32I can see why you would say robotic about him.
01:35But I think the depth of detail that he goes to with his tennis
01:40and how he talks about it,
01:42I think there is much more than only robotic to him.
01:46and we shouldn't, yeah.
