01:54The bill allegedly narrows who qualifies as a transgender. It removes the right to self-identify one's gender,
02:00a core principle of the 2019 law rooted in the NALSA judgment.
02:04And it ties recognition to specific identities or biological markers, potentially excluding many non-binary people.
