ಗುರುಮಿಠಕಲ್‌ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಡುವ ಪತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಹತ್ವ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಶಾಸಕರ ಆದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಗೌರವ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಜನರಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಾದ ಶಾಸಕರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಆಡಳಿತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಮತೋಲನಕ್ಕೂ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಜನರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಪರಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಸಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಕುಗ್ಗುವಂತಾಗಿರುವುದು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವದ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

In Gurmitkal constituency, officials are giving more importance to letters issued in the name of the Congress district president, while not showing due respect to the orders of the locally elected MLA. This is undermining the rights of elected representatives and disturbing the balance of the administrative system. Expressing his displeasure over this, MLA Sharanagouda Kandakur voiced his concern.
