00:00I don't know what the engineers were thinking while designing this project because a random
00:03beam has completely stalled the project. This is 40 crores of taxpayers money quite literally
00:09hanging in the air. The construction of this skywalk between sector 51 and 52 metro station
00:14which has been underway for three plus years has missed another deadline. This time because of this
00:18beam that was not taken into consideration while designing this project. So people were supposed
00:23to come all the way from there and take this skywalk. In February 2026 we reported on the
00:30struggles commuters faced due to a lack of pathway between the two metro stations. You can click here
00:35to watch the full video but the story remains the same. So in March 2023 the authorities promised
00:40that the construction would be completed within a year. Then came 2024 the project didn't complete.
00:46Then came 2025 and the project didn't complete. Then came 2026 and the first deadline was February 1.
00:51Back 2 was missed and the second was March 10. And as you can see behind me, people are still
00:56forced to use this narrow pathway that runs along this road. So this is a very long route that starts
01:02from there. So people have to commute from there to all the way here. So according to reports the
01:12Noida authority said there was no mention of such a pillar in the drawing submitted by the Noida metro
01:17rail corporation and this pillar popped up only when the construction was already underway.
01:21But the bigger question here is will we ever find out who's really accountable for all of this?
