The ID. Cross will arrive on the European market in autumn 2026. The model will be available starting at around €28,000. The five-seater is aimed at customers who want first-class, practical, and affordable electric mobility. Currently, the ID. Cross can be seen in Amsterdam sporting a striking camouflage livery.

The exterior of the ID. Cross is characterized by Volkswagen's new "Pure Positive" design language, featuring clean lines, balanced proportions, and a premium feel. The ID. Cross presents a deliberately understated yet confident appearance. The interior also conveys a sense of calm and clarity, with materials and workmanship comparable to higher vehicle classes. Five seats, efficient use of space, intuitively operated functions and buttons, and large displays complete the high-quality overall impression.

The ID. Cross offers a range of powertrain options. The ID. Cross is offered with power outputs of 85 kW, 99 kW, and 155 kW, combined with two battery sizes of 37 kWh and 52 kWh (net). This allows the model to cover a variety of usage profiles – from predominantly urban driving to regular long-distance journeys. Modern driver assistance systems support the driver and contribute to a high level of comfort. The ID. Cross also demonstrates its future-proof design when it comes to charging: It features DC fast charging as standard, with up to 90 kW, and up to 105 kW with the larger battery.
