01:14the season but there's a lot of games left and nothing is written in stone yeah he may be thin
01:20but ellis has that wiry strength keon can handle physical play shots good by butler just setting
01:27the tone with an aggressive move to the rack and where's the help defensively well when you are the
01:34aggressor this early it is intimidating now here's watson good it's mitchell picking up the assist
01:43and that's exactly what he's looking for draining the triple curry wide open off target from three

01:53johnson with it out guarded by healed here's nagy for three ellis the warriors pull it in and the great
02:03shooters know when they've got enough opening to go for the three i didn't think it was a bad choice

13:57and so steve kirk decides to call a timeout he's ready to talk things through with him
14:02well it's a player's league but certainly coaching has its place and this is when a coach earns his
14:09paycheck analyze the situation and give your players the information they need to succeed
14:30and we're about two minutes into the second quarter here he takes it in and the slam by moody
14:38and he shows us all what the breakaway rim was invented for can you believe he almost brought the
14:44whole thing down by hanging on that wall and watson slams it in those plays can make a difference in
14:51a game like this well you know it's going to fire up greg everybody on that bench and guys you

14:59allow that in a close game you have to make it harder than that and the timing butler has really
15:06superb easily pulling up off the dribble especially when the defense is a little less and it's good two

15:31consistently finding ways to get the ball inside and taking full advantage

20:53yeah when you have a guy playing like he has been recently
20:56he's got to be the first option on every possession

21:22well i like the way we defended without fouling so we could get our flow
21:25and guys just came in and made some big ones and our offense got going

21:52howdy folks i know you've all been clamoring to find out how the rookie of
21:57the year race is looking and we are not letting you down
22:01it's far enough into the season now where you can tell which guys are for
22:05real and which guys are pushing for that ROI
22:09i remember in 1993 you winning that award Shaq mainly because you should have won that

22:19a few things for them to focus on more presence on the backboards more physicality maybe a few
22:25elbow sandwiches and maybe the guards need to crack back get in there and help out
22:33and that about wraps it up and as the third quarter is about to begin we go to kevin harlan

22:53and as we get into this third quarter as we've seen so far neither team able to create much
22:59separation on the scoreboard yet we are seeing a tremendous game from jimmy butler yeah it's been
23:05a great performance from him really staying focused on quality shots yeah he's found his spots been
23:12patient with his shot selection and it's paid off for himself and the team
23:23drawn to the three-pointer 11 times tonight and nailed five of them they've got kevin hurter
23:28ian ellis is out there with mitchell then there's peyton watson it's naji and at the pivot spot manning
23:35the middle more good work on the glass there when it's all said and done i think rebounding might tell
23:42the story in this game and how about when curry gets fancy with it his confidence is what allows
23:48him to pull off these moves and jimmy butler is what some might call an old school kind of player
23:54would you agree great yeah i mean he's all toughness grit and basketball iq a tone setter
24:01at the defensive end who plays unselfishly the guy is all about winning watching that for two

24:15and very quietly healed is one of the best three-point shooters in our league as dangerous as they come

24:57tough shot inside and that bucket adds to what has been a big difference in points in the paint between

25:10healed against ellis and a kind roll that time off the rim as that one falls

25:23butler against herder and butler gets it to go butler's got 23 points well if it ain't broke don't
25:31fix it they keep getting it in the paint and continue to score consistently
25:42and one of the trademarks of the many best point guards in the league their ability to score in
25:47addition to distribute so here now look at the top scoring point guards this season stephan curry
25:53forth well this is a collection of maybe the most well-rounded players in our league i mean to see
25:59those kinds of scoring numbers from the point guard position is crazy well that's one of the biggest
26:05changes in the league over the years point guards are now expected to score they have to do more than
26:12just pass they have been board dominant in this team there's definitely been a factor in cracking this
26:19huge league hey whatever adjustments they made at halftime they are working to perfection well
26:25sometimes you just make shots but they've certainly come out on a tear here in the third quarter

31:25guys that just seem to be a lot younger than they really are and al still getting it done
31:32every single night in this league it's a testament to his discipline and his professionalism and the

31:45going outside a lot tonight 17 times in fact seven of 17 basket good that's now eight points for ellis
31:54well we've seen that movie a few times haven't we an easy bucket in the paint
31:58podjemski good and butler gets the assist butler's got five assists in the game well there's butler
32:06making the right play as he so often does now what's the best to watson outside jane
32:15misses the three warriors leading by 14
32:21on loads from 13 and it's butler missing that was a good look for the mid-range he'd like to

32:28one back and it's james missing well that's the look he wanted but the defense doing just enough to
32:35impact that shot curry good and you can tell he's looking for his shot he just believes in well yeah
32:44and the defense is going to have to respond to that and chase him off the arc you have to
