00:11threaten the Philippines' energy supply. Marcos puts up the unified package for livelihoods,
00:16industry, food and transport or uplift a coordinated and whole-of-government
00:20response framework for the crisis. He also mobilizes his cabinet secretaries to
00:25"...implement the necessary response measures to mitigate the ongoing crisis."
00:30The state of national energy emergency will remain in force for up to a year
00:34unless Marcos extends or lifts it earlier. Meantime, budget airline Cebu Pacific cancels
00:40and limits several overseas flights in response to the rising cost of fuel.
00:44It says Tuesday, global fuel prices have more than doubled compared with 2025 averages.
00:50Flight disruptions will begin as early as April 13, with some cancelled until October.
