10:19What was your experience about?
10:22Good evening, everyone.
10:25I was very, very excited about the fact that I could be a part of the Spotlight show and I
10:33remember going through when they sent me the lookbook of Anurag's work.
10:38And when I saw it and I was like, this is so edgy and so cool.
10:43And I didn't know the story behind the fabrics, the intention behind it that he just spoke about, about sustainability.
10:52So it's great to know.
10:53I mean, I found out later and I was like, it's the best of both worlds, right?
10:57It's great aesthetics, it's edgy aesthetics and it's something that's working towards sustainability and intentionally alongside fashion.

11:12It's this cute white dress but juxtaposed with, you know, this edgy element like there's a tie and there's this

11:20So I like it.
11:22It's a little out of my comfort zone, which is also what I like about it because I hope for

11:29But you know, what is the Nixa Spotlight about?
11:32When you are young, you can do anything.
11:35You can be edgy, you can walk with people with your face covered and that is what you can do
11:42when you are young and Nixa put you in the spotlight.
11:44When you already, you are a star, everyone is going to judge you.
11:49Everyone will see it's the same old, same old that appeared year before last in the collection.
11:56But right now is the time for somebody like Anurag to take this platform and do exactly what he wants

13:50So, whenever I start making my collection, I start working with material.
13:56I try to find unconventional material that I can use in my collection.
14:01And suppose I was making one of my look and I saw a Sika wrapper was there.
14:10I just picked it up.
14:12I said, we can upcycle it.
14:14We can make the jacket out of it.
14:16And we made the jacket.
14:17How I made the collection.
14:20So, yeah, this is the one look I can explain it to you.
14:24What is beauty for you?
14:26Very different take on beauty we saw today.
14:29It's not perfect.
14:30It doesn't have to be beautiful at all.
14:32How do you perceive beauty in what you do?
14:34But it's beautiful.
14:35I see beauty everywhere.
14:38So, you have seen my pieces.
14:39They are very experimental, exaustrated, silhouetted.
14:43And I have put the tape on my pieces.
14:47So, I see beauty everywhere.
14:50I don't, you know, admire traditional beauty.
14:55I just make the collection what I feel.
14:58And I find it's beautiful.
