00:00We as a society are getting stupid. We've become over-reliant on our phones and now with AI we are
00:06using them more than ever. I can't tell you the last time that I drove without using Google Maps.
00:11So today I'm going to find out how stupid I really am. Because right now me and Michael
00:15Reeves are at the southernmost point in Japan. And over the next two weeks we're going to try
00:18to find our way to the northernmost point of Japan. And I say try because we're doing it with
00:23a few rules. Rule number one is no technology. If I want to talk to someone I'm not allowed to
00:28use
00:28Google Translate or ChatGPT. I just have to use whatever Japanese I've picked up from my sex
00:32tourist teacher. That also means we're not allowed to use Google Maps. Not just for traveling but also
00:37to figure out where to eat or where to stay at night or where to stop to get gas. And
00:42just to make
00:42sure we're playing honest we've swapped out our smartphones for flip phones. Rule number two
00:46no highways. Michael and I have been wanting to do this trip for a while so it wouldn't feel right
00:50if we spent our entire trip in Japan looking at different toll roads. So the question is simple
00:55can two brain-rotted Americans make it across the entire country of Japan without a map?
00:59There's going to be a daily vlog uploaded on my YouTube channel every day covering our
01:03journey and that all starts tomorrow.
01:06No!
01:07There is some like liquid stuff.
01:09Oh there is it?
