00:00Yeah, so we've now here, finally finished our centre mile walk around Cornwall for the Cornish food banks, raising money
00:07for the food bank, and also raising donations for the food banks on loop.
00:12So we've hit Truro, Penryn, we've built it at Redroos and Campbell as well, and it's just been amazing.
00:19You know, the team that have here, nine of us started, nine of us finished, all the smiles on our
00:24faces.
00:25The money's really important, we've raised over £3,500.
00:30And what that can do, you know, the food banks are saying that £1, when you look at the support
00:36and signposting that can be given from that, it's absolutely amazing.
00:40And the food donations, we can't believe how much we've taken.
00:43So when we gave it to the food bank, it's actually equated to over 1,100 meals for people.
00:52We just want to raise awareness, St Morgan is all about a community team, a community spirit, and we live
00:58in our communities.
00:59We really want to make that difference.
01:02Unfortunately, people that are lucky enough to be in full-time employment, we're hearing that they're having to use food
01:07banks.
01:07This has been a three-day trek for us, but nothing like 365 days a year where people are really
01:14struggling.
01:15If we can raise awareness, if we can support, get other people to share, you know, the schools, the sports
01:21clubs.
01:22I can't name them because we'd be here all day, but I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
01:27And the last one I want to mention is the team.
01:30So we've got Carol Atkinson, Winnie Churchill, Tom Sherrington, Robin Sherrington, Joni Hillary, Jack Singers, Tara Stiles, Dave Merton and
01:43myself.
01:44You know, looking at their faces, they are in real stores and I wish to be my best.
01:50Watch out, we'll be back again.
