00:01:19It was very much like seeing a just room full of celebrities.
00:01:25For us to actually all be together and spend some quality time getting to catch up, I think that's great
00:01:30and I wish it happened more.
00:01:32I just got done talking to Jesse, just did his, and yeah, everyone's having a blast.
00:01:36When you run your own show, obviously you're like the male lead of your series,
00:01:39so we don't really get to see each other until there's events like this where you get to interact.
00:01:42Folks might believe we see each other all the time, but we don't. We absolutely don't.
00:01:45Just being around these people is just the most uplifting and soul-nourishing thing.
00:01:50These crazy people, and I love them so much. It's been amazing.

00:02:19I think this year my favorite one was the emotional script, and it was fun to be able to tell

00:02:25I would say probably Undercover Prison King.
00:02:27It got totally different than any vertical I've ever done or any vertical that I've ever seen.
00:02:30Wings of Fire, and that was the coolest show, and that was by far my favorite and most memorable project
00:02:36for this year.
00:02:37Dungeons of Ecstasy, so much fun, and it was just good cast, good crew, good food.
00:02:43Best. It was amazing.
00:02:45The full short called Taming My Bullies, and we just had the best, best, best time ever.
00:02:48It was like the greatest team.

00:02:51It was just a dream team.
00:02:52We're all going to be friends for life.
00:02:54I remember when I first started doing verticals, I was like, okay, acting job?
00:02:58Yes, please.
00:02:59And I had the best time, and it was one of those things where I didn't know what I was
00:03:02getting myself into.
00:03:03And everybody's here to work and do their jobs was the best surprise, and here I am still doing it
00:03:08two years later.
00:03:09I'm more unique thinking about my journey, and I remember I turned to my co-star, and I was like...
00:03:15It was totally new, and then I showed up on set, and I was like, these guys are going to
00:03:19take over the world.
00:03:20Through teaching one who works at Real Short, and after a few months of playing with them, they said, hey,
00:03:27you should buy a tape in, and that was it.
00:03:30I met Erica.
00:03:31She's my agent, and she had walked in there, and I was working there, and she's like, you should come
00:03:35work at Real Short, too.
00:03:36And I was like, all right.
00:03:37My first ever vertical, I was a vertical that Rebecca was starring in, and it was very sweet because I
00:03:44almost looked up to her.
00:03:45I was like, oh my gosh, this girl isn't so many.
00:03:48But I sat there as a background watching her get married, and you know, it was just so sweet and
00:03:53beautiful to be working with her now.
00:03:55I got an offer for a show, gosh, two years ago now, and it was a little bit more risque
00:04:03in nature.
00:04:05I was reading through the script, and it wasn't something at the time that I felt like I could really
00:04:08do and make it look authentic and real.
00:04:10And so I told them I couldn't take it, and they were so good to me and so sweet and
00:04:17literally were like, not a problem at all.
00:04:19We have another script that's more, you know, PG-13.
00:04:22I was part of, like, kind of the first wave of people that started doing these verticals.
00:04:27Luckily, I got put on a Real Short production, and that's when I was like, okay, yeah, like, I can
00:04:31do a Real Short.
00:04:32To see where they were and to where they are now, like, it's absolutely mind-blowing how far they've come
00:04:39in just two years.
00:04:39And it's crazy to think where they'll be two years from now.

00:05:41You know, I did my first vertical not knowing it was a vertical.
00:05:45It was labeled as a web series on one of the acting sites, and I showed up, and the cameras
00:05:50were sideways, and I was like, sick, what are we doing here?
00:05:52And then they explained it, and I was like, that's actually incredible, let's do it.
00:05:55I was cast in my very first one, which was called You Fired a Tech Genius.
00:06:00And when I spoke to the head of production, and she offered me the lead role, this changed my life.
00:06:08Is there anyone here that you would like to work with that maybe you haven't worked with before?

00:06:16I don't think we've done a project together.
00:06:18She's such a sweetheart, and she's so cute.

00:07:22of the other male leads, like Mark, Richard, Jesse, Chris.
00:07:26Any of the boys, like, I would love to shoot one with one of them.
00:07:30Because I see Seth all the time, and we're friends.
00:07:33I think it would be really fun if we played brothers in a vertical.
00:07:38I think that would be a lot of fun.
00:07:39I think that's one of the really cool things about when I got to do American Sniper is we had
00:07:43a cast full of, like, leading men, and that never happens.
00:07:46Like, I don't normally get to work with, like, the other leading men in the vertical space.
00:07:49Like, who was on the list today?
00:07:51And, well, just not all of them.
00:07:53Verticals have done so much for me.
00:07:55Obviously, some of them are campy and silly.
00:07:57But really what they've done for me, I'm a very visual learner.
00:08:01And for my acting, for example, people that aren't in the industry might not know.
00:08:04But when you film a feature film or you're filming in a television show, you film it, and it doesn't
00:08:10come out for years sometimes.
00:08:11And so by the time you get the chance to watch it and critique your acting ability and learn from
00:08:16it, it's two years down the line.
00:08:19You fix most of those things that you're watching, and you're like, oh, that's not working.
00:08:23But with verticals, the good thing about it is it's like a boot camp.
00:08:27You're on all the time.
00:08:28You're in every scene.
00:08:29You get the chance to develop these characters and take them one way or another.
00:08:32And then you get to see it within two months.
00:08:35So you know exactly where you're at in your acting ability.
00:08:37It completely changed it.
00:08:38I was in a place during the writer's strike was going on, and there was no work going on.
00:08:44My agency went bankrupt.
00:08:46And then I was just working these constantly.
00:08:49And I feel like a lot of actors have kept them afloat when they wouldn't normally have been able to
00:08:53because it's just so slow, it feels like.
00:08:56And I feel like I've just gained a lot of good experience being in front of the camera
00:09:00and good experience with turning around scripts really quickly because we move really fast.
00:09:05And I guess I've gotten a great amount of exposure, and I've gained people that like watching me, which is
00:09:12great.
00:09:13It's been an overall very grateful experience, and I hope it keeps going.
00:09:19What are your goals for 2026?
00:09:21I don't know.
00:09:23I've got to get through this year.
00:09:25I think just keep working and take the projects that really inspire me, make time for friends,
00:09:30and be better about planning out those little breaks where I get to feel me and embrace my hobbies
00:09:36and remember the things that I love and therefore who I am at my core.
00:09:41Prioritize my health a little more, get back into Taekwondo,
00:09:44and work on more exciting projects that make me happy.
00:09:49I want to continue to be a greater walk of masculinity.
00:09:53I want to continue to be a man that's trustworthy, who's strong but kind, who's a good leader.
00:10:00Kind of try out some different roles than what y'all are used to.
00:10:03Definitely, you know, something edgier, a little more fun.

00:10:08My goal is honestly to keep working.
00:10:11So I'm hoping, which it's looking good, I'm hoping to do at least one project a month in 2026.

00:10:24I think we can like branch out and start doing all the other crazy, you know, genres would be fun.

00:10:33I would love to actually take the action and mix it with my dad.
00:10:37Kind of like, you know, CEO dad thing is like,

00:10:40I'm coming for you with my unique set of skills.
00:10:42I'm writing a short right now.
00:10:43It's like my, I did a few in college,
00:10:45but this is the first time post-college,
00:10:47which is much harder because no one's forcing you to do anything.
00:10:51So I'm doing that.
00:10:52And it's kind of like a passion project.
00:10:55I see myself in a new place.
00:10:56I'm planning a move in 2026,
00:10:58which can be a little bit hard when you're working in this kind of industry,
00:11:02when you just take what comes up.
00:11:04But I'm very excited.
00:11:07Moving feels almost like a reset.
00:11:09Like we're starting new at the beginning of the year.
00:11:12And I hope that just brings like even more like bright ideas,
00:11:18whether it comes to social media.
00:11:19Outside of verticals,
00:11:21really I'm very excited for this cartoon to come out
00:11:24because that is just something so, so unexpected.
00:11:28I think from what fans will see.
00:11:31As far as verticals like to find a home with Real Short,
00:11:36it's such a rare thing.
00:11:38I plan on staying with this family for as long as possible
00:11:44and keep working and keep making people happy.
