00:00I don't think anybody expected Penn to have a whole lot of success either with good old
00:04coach McCaffrey.
00:06So I think this is now the fifth team or some ridiculous number that he has actually brought
00:11to the tournament.
00:13No longer the days of Iowa, but now Penn's got to take on Illinois, coach.
00:18And this is another one of these, what, 21 and a half, 23 and a half.
00:23It's even higher than that now.
00:2525 and a half now.
00:26Illinois is a favorite.
00:28What do we think?
00:29Can the, can the boys at Penn hang with Illinois?
00:33Well, listen, shout out to my, my good friend, Fran McCaffrey.
00:35I talked to Fran right after the game and he was just so excited that when that took place
00:40over Yale, by the way, coach Jones, I know coach Jones as well.
00:43I mean, what they did at the end of that game was criminal in regard to how they coughed
00:47up that game, you know, calling a timeout up three, then not fouling, then letting obviously
00:53TJ power who went nuclear and TJ power, but the big time player scores about 20 points,
00:578.8 rebounds to me, the thing that's going to be the struggle for Penn is going to be
01:02the ability to stop Illinois.
01:03This is the Illinois team.
01:04Joe, that's number one in offensive efficiency for most of the country or most of the season.
01:09I should say, uh, Wagler and Bosler as good as they get in the backcourt, but then you
01:13have to look at, uh, Mikovic in, in the frontcourt, which gives you about, you know, 16 points
01:17and seven rebounds a game, just way too much.
01:20I'm concerned about, uh, the spread and that backdoor coverage, Joe, with that big number.
01:27But to me, if you look at anything, you can go with either Illinois first half or just
01:31like the Illinois team total.
01:32I just think they score and they score at will versus Penn.
