02:01el primer minuto hemos condenado, que no apoyamos, que consideramos ilegal,
02:06y que desgraciadamente, no solamente en términos de costes de vidas humanas, de desplazados y refugiados, sino también desde el
02:14punto de vista del bolsillo del bienestar de nuestros conciudadanos, ya empezamos a sufrir.
02:27España va a defender, como ha defendido junto con otras naciones y otros gobiernos europeos, de todas las familias políticas,
02:34la necesidad no de debilitar, sino de aumentar y fortalecer las políticas energéticas verdes,
02:40que no solamente nos permiten responder ante ese desafío que sufre la humanidad, que es el cambio climático, sino también
02:47nos permite defender el bolsillo de los ciudadanos.

12:57What is important is that for all of us in European Union, we want to see the end of
13:04this war.
13:05We definitely see the chaos that it's causing in the Middle East, but also the ramifications
13:11it has for the rest of the world. 85% of oil and gas that goes by at the Strait
13:17of Hormuz goes to Asia, and we already see problems there. Also the same with fertilizers
13:23that African countries need. For example, Sudan, 54% of the fertilizers to Sudan come via the
13:32Strait of Hormuz. So we are working with our Gulf partners, also with Egypt, Jordan,
13:38to really find a solution that the parties could end this war.
14:02Yes. The discussions that we had on Monday with the foreign ministers were about our operation
14:08of speeders that is in the region already with the ships guarding the safe passage through
14:15the Red Sea. So the discussion was whether there is a wish to also expand this to operate
14:21in the Strait of Hormuz. There was no such wish because, you know, the ministers were saying
14:27that we were not consulted. Some were even saying that we tried to convince parties not to start
14:35this war. And we don't know what are the objectives of this war. And also there is no international
14:43law basis. If you think about using the force, for example, there are two cases which one is
14:51self-defense and the other one is under the UN Security Council resolution, as there is no such thing.
14:57At this moment, the member states do not have an appetite to go to this war. For the Iranian people,
15:05we have always supported the Iranian people, the civil society, so that they can decide for their own future.
15:12Of course, the regime has been very oppressive. There's a lot of human suffering for the Iranians,
15:21but it has to be Iranians that are able to decide for their own future. Thank you.
