00:51With one giant swing, she takes out two dudes who were twice her size, and sends them flying.
01:02She isn't done with them however, as after taking out two more enemies, she quickly turns
01:08her attention to her own team mates, much to their dismay.

01:22Kagura Go's Full Yato – Gintama
01:26As members of the Yato tribe, both the air-headed member of Oddjob's Gin and Kamui's subordinates,
01:32were monsters when it came to their physical strength, able to dish out and withstand an
01:37incredible amount of punishment.
01:47Though given his years of training, Abuto seemed to have the clear advantage over the younger,
01:52less disciplined Kagura, at least until she snapped.
02:01After embracing her Yato instincts, the weight and force of Kagura's blows escalates to the
02:07point where she is able to immobilize the veteran warrior easily.
02:11She just had to sidestep on the whole sanity thing to get there.

02:25Tojima refuses to give up Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider.
02:29You've gotta give it to Tojima.
02:31Once he puts on that plastic Kamen Rider mask, his strength almost matches the real deal.
02:36During a mini-tournament arc to help train our wannabe Kamen Riders, Tojima ends up facing
02:42off against the incredibly talented Tackle.
02:45She hits him with an onslaught of powerful manoeuvres that would put anyone out for the
02:50counts, but somehow, in a berserk state, Tojima manages to get up every time.
03:02Seriously, it happens so many times that Tackle
03:05begins to question if he's actually human.
03:12Luckily for her, she was able to secure the victory, but that's only because Tojima's
03:16mask happens to fall off mid-battle.

03:29Obito loses his innocence.
03:32Naruto Shippuden.
03:33The mystery regarding Tobe and his true identity finally came to a head when we learnt the tragic
03:39truth of his past.
03:41In reality, the masked puppeteer behind the formation of the Akatsuki was none other than
03:47Obito Uchiha, Kakashi's childhood friend who had assumedly been crushed to death by a boulder
03:53years prior.
03:59As it happened, he overcame his near-death experience just for the chance to see his beloved Rin again,
04:05only to arrive just as she had been murdered.
04:12Blinded by his sorrow, Obito ended up unlocking the true power of the Sharingan before going
04:19to town on some very unlucky ninja.

04:32Higurashi when they cry.
04:33A lot of crazy stuff goes down in Hinamizawa, but Keiichi's meltdown here showcases best the
04:40pure brutality that the series is known for.
04:42After going through some pretty darn creepy situations with his friends Reina and Mion,
04:48Keiichi wakes up in his room with them by his side.
04:52While things seem back to normal at first, it suddenly takes a very dark turn when the
04:57two attempt to inject him with an unknown substance.
05:07The show suddenly cuts ahead to Keiichi going absolutely ballistic with a baseball bat, continuously
05:13bashing the friends he had just killed.
05:21This uncharacteristic moment for Keiichi clearly shows that even he has become a victim of the
05:27Hinamizawa Syndrome.

05:35Goku's Family.
05:37Dragon Ball Super.
05:38Goku's one of the most easy-going shonen protagonists out there, so you're gonna have to do something
05:44pretty heinous for him to lose it.
05:46In his battle against both Zamasu and Goku Black, the evil pair finally revealed the truth.
05:52Turns out Goku Black is in fact also Zamasu from another timeline, who used the Dragon Balls
05:58to switch bodies with Goku.
06:11This isn't the worst of it however, as the former Supreme Kai apprentice tells Goku he brutally
06:17murdered both Chichi and Goten while assuming his form.
06:29Goku is absolutely livid and explodes on the two with a furious rage.
06:34People like to joke that Goku doesn't care about his family, but from this scene alone,
06:39it's quite clearly not the case.

06:52Sayonara Sensue.
06:54Yu Yu Hakusho.
06:56Considering this guy was responsible for Yusuke's second death, we'd say the Spirit Detective
07:01was more than entitled to a little payback.
07:10While Sensue's skills remained unsurpassed by both mortals and demons, they didn't end
07:16up counting for much when Yusuke clawed his way back to life.
07:20Now in his mazoku form, with his ancestral father now in the driver's seat.
07:29Seriously, the brutality he inflicts on Sensue is so vicious that it probably sent all seven
07:35of his personalities running for the hills.

07:47Digimon Adventure.
07:49As you'll also see later on this list, the Digimon franchise has featured many Digivolutions
07:55gone wrong, but this one may be the darkest.
08:04When Devimon Digivolves into DonDevimon and appears to devour MetalGreymon's DigiDestined
08:10tie, our hero completely loses it and appears to Digivolve into a form that closely resembles
08:17Machinedremon.
08:25Equipped with powerful laser beams, this dark Digimon quickly pins down DonDevimon and proceeds
08:31to viciously tear them apart.
08:33If it wasn't for a last-minute change of heart, Agumon could have been lost in the madness
08:45forever.

08:50Shinra Gets Possessed.
08:52Fire Force.
08:53Despite being labeled a devil and ostracized, Shinra never abandoned his dream to become a
08:58hero.
08:59While we can't help but root for him, there are times where his inner devil tends to lash
09:04out.
09:09After being tempted and possessed by the first pillar, Shinra becomes hell-bent on burning
09:15those who've wronged him to a crisp.
09:24Needless to say, it's a little unsettling watching the heroic Shinra transform into such
09:29a monstrous version of himself, especially after he works so hard to overcome the stigma
09:34that's haunted him for years.

09:41Rem the Oni ReZero starting life in another world After a swarm of hellhounds ruin what
09:47was looking like a perfectly romantic night between the King of Suffering and the adorable
09:52Oni, Rem's vicious side comes out to play in force.
10:05With her horn acting as a death beacon, it doesn't take her long to start turning everything
10:11into dog meat.
10:12Sure, the whole thing resulted in Subaru getting bald.
10:19But at least he went down freeing his beloved Rem from her violent urges.
10:36It's fair to say that Holland wasn't exactly the best host to Renton when he first arrived
10:41on the Gekko.
10:42Even so, everything fell on Renton's shoulders when, after attempting to save the priest Norb,
10:47Holland found himself in the middle of an ambush.
10:50Pressured by his fellow Gekko State members, Renton bursts onto the scene with the Nirvash
10:55and cleans house.
10:57But that's where it gets complicated.
11:11His conflicting feelings over Holland and the adrenaline rush he feels in combat overpower
11:16his actions and he soon finds himself high off the rush.
11:26He hammers the last opposing LFO relentlessly, reducing its pilot to a bloody paste.

11:47Turns out that getting crushed and impaled can really bring out the monster in a person.
11:54After Annie is revealed to be the female Titan, she transforms within the walls and proceeds
11:59to go on a rampage, nearly killing Eren in the process.
12:03Fueled by his hate of the Titans and the fact that one of their own had betrayed them, he
12:08loses it and makes sure that Annie suffers.
12:21Eren fully gives in to the monster inside of him, to the point where he ends up tearing up Annie's
12:26Titan form like a rabid beast.

12:30Inuyasha Goes Full Demon

12:33At the beginning of the series, Inuyasha desperately wanted to become a full demon, but over time
12:39his view changed, and this moment was likely a key contribution to that.
12:44Whilst trapped inside a venomous cocoon, Inuyasha gives into his demonic side.
12:55Once free, he goes feral and immediately begins to indiscriminately kill the bandits that surround
13:02his friends.
13:03Kagome and the others can only look on in horror, as Inuyasha brutalizes his enemies one by one
13:09with his blood-covered hands.
13:16Luckily, his brother Sashomaru arrives on the scene to stop him, but for a good while, it
13:22looked like Inuyasha's human side had been gone for good.

13:36Sure, he possesses one of the most powerful weapons ever created by God, but it's hard
13:42to imagine that the opai-obsessed Issei could ever be considered this dangerous.

13:58After the apparent death of Asya by Devil Shaba Beelzebub, Issei succumbs to his rage, forcing
14:05his sacred gear to activate its juggernaut drive.
14:08By removing the limiter on the boosted gear, Issei gains tremendous power, but slowly loses
14:14both his sanity and life in the process.
14:24Though initially incomplete, there is no denying the Juggernaut Drive's power, as it allowed
14:30Issei to use both Divine Divining and the all-powerful Longinus Smasher to decimate Shaba.
14:53Just when you thought this series couldn't find a way to dig the knife any deeper, they
14:58pulled a stunt like this.
15:07It was bad enough finding out that the kind-hearted Mio was selling her body in order to raise
15:12money for the orphans in her care, but to see her then cut down by enemy soldiers, it
15:17was too much to bear.
15:23Hyakimaru evidently felt the same way, since he goes berserk and massacres every soldier
15:28he could reach, it's brutal, barbaric and will likely leave you crying into a pillow.

15:40Roy's Blaze – Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood For all of his deceptions, scheming and trickery,
15:46you'd have thought that Envy would have been smart enough to realize that tormenting a guy
15:51who can summon fire with a flick of his fingers was a terrible idea.
16:01After revealing himself to be Hughes' killer, the homunculus ended up lighting a match under
16:06Colonel Mustang, who proceeded to incinerate him over and over and over again.
16:16Despite all the transformations at his disposal, Envy still got himself torched every single
16:22time.
16:23Considering just how devastating Hughes' murder was, we don't blame Roy for losing it.

16:38A Wasted Bento – Tenjo Tenge Who knew that a classroom brawl could get
16:43so out of hand?
16:44In his quest to prove himself as the strongest fighter at Toto Academy, Suichiro is challenged
16:50by Juken member Masataka.
17:01When Masataka's skills prove to be more overwhelming than expected, Suichiro resorts to fighting
17:06dirty.
17:07After Suichiro uses a trick to land a blow on his opponents, things take its in for the worse
17:12force, when Masataka completely loses it.
17:20What follows is a brutal beating that crushes Suichiro in both mind and body, with an emphasis
17:26on bodily harm.

17:29All this over a bento box!

17:34Asta's Malice – Black Clover During the Spade Kingdom's invasion, the Dark Triad
17:40member Dante tries to convince Asta to join their side as they're both possessed by devils.
17:47Asta obviously declines, which forces Dante to get more aggressive with his negotiations.
17:58Despite Asta's pleas, he destroys Rogue and then impales Ghosh with a giant sword-like object.
18:14This causes Asta to unleash his demonic powers, countering every attack in an unhinged rage.
18:21Asta overwhelms him so much that he's able to get close enough to directly slice Dante in
18:26the face.

18:37Kafka's Kaiju Side – Kaiju Number 8 When the truth comes out about Kafka's Kaiju abilities,
18:43he ends up getting confined by the defense force.
18:46After rigorous testing, it's revealed that Kafka's heart is now a Kaiju core, which leads
18:52to the Director General Isao taking matters into his own hands.
19:03Kafka refuses to fight back, proclaiming himself to still be human.
19:07Unfortunately, it all becomes too much for him to handle, and before Isao can land the
19:11killing blow, Kafka transforms into a Kaiju and goes on a warpath.
19:22Luckily, Kafka was able to regain control, but for a brief moment, it looked like his humanity
19:28had all but gone.
19:36Number 31 Rudo teaches Amo a lesson – Gachiakuta After almost killing the cleaners, you'd
19:43think Amo would probably want to get on their good side, but no.
19:46She acts like a spoiled brat and blames them for ruining her home.
20:00This bad behavior somehow mind-breaks Rudo, who walks over to her and strikes her clean in
20:06the face.
20:10This isn't the most shocking part, as he proceeds to violently punch her multiple times, forcing
20:16his teammates to drag him away.
20:18Amo clearly deserved some sort of comeuppance for her deeds, but this was going way too far.
20:29Number 30 Luffy Gum Gum Goes Out of Control – One Piece
20:34Luffy has cracked a few times across his adventures, but if there's one in particular that gave
20:39us chills, it's this.
20:41After his comrades are seemingly killed thanks to Kaido's devastating bolo blast, the straw hat
20:47captain falls out of his senses.
20:52Now in his furious mindset, he throws everything and the kitchen sink at the beast pirate's
20:58fearsome leader.
21:03Of course, it doesn't end in victory for Luffy during this round, but seeing him get this
21:08emotional over his friends should teach Kaido not to mess with them ever again.
21:19Number 29 Deku Loses It – My Hero Academia
21:24After everything Shigaraki had done up until this point, it's surprising how a few simple
21:29words is what broke our favorite heroic cinnamon roll.
21:38The seemingly hopeless battle against the leader of the League of Villains saw plenty of bloodshed
21:44and Deku hoped to put a stop to that through blind, ugly violence.
21:49He harnesses his newfound one-for-all abilities to give the nutty killer a taste of what he's
21:54been dishing out.
22:00If it went for his nigh-invincible body, it's clear that Shigaraki would be paced on the ground
22:06after this beatdown for the ages.
22:12Number 28 Farm Boy Goes Berserk – Bungo Stray Dogs
22:17Kenji is just about the sweetest little fella you could ever meet.
22:21Sure, he has borderline terrifying physical strength, but you'd have to do something pretty
22:26egregious to get him to see red, like, say, threaten his besties at the armed detective
22:32agency?
22:39Unfortunately for Techo of the hunting dogs, he didn't take that into consideration after
22:44easily taking down Kenji earlier on in the fight.
22:51He didn't realize that behind that gentle exterior was a complete monster hiding in wait, though
22:57we'll stop at nothing to keep his friends safe.
23:00What's almost more terrifying is how easily he's able to snap out of it after absolutely
23:06wrecking Techo?
23:12Number 27 Itadori's Rage – Jujutsu Kaisen
23:17It was very easy to hate Mahito more and more every time he appeared on the show, especially
23:23if your name is Yuji Itadori.
23:26After what appeared to be an emotional turnaround for Junpei's distress, Mahito quickly snatches
23:31it away by turning him into a monstrosity.
23:34This coupled with Sukuna's refusal to intervene pushes the young sorcerer over the edge.
23:40He now has only one thing in mind – punching a crater into the place where Mahito's face
23:46currently occupies.
23:51He ignores all the pain he's being put through and continues his relentless assault.
23:56Oh, Yuji, if only you finished your fight here, you wouldn't be a victim to the horrors
24:01to come.
24:09Number 26 Soya Cries – Tokyo Revengers Greatly outnumbered by Tenjiku, Touman certainly
24:16has a rough time in their battle against them, especially when the Haitani brothers begin
24:22to brutalize Hakai right in front of Soya.
24:25With his leg injured, Angry's emotions get the best of him, and he begins to cry like
24:30a child.
24:38Now, usually you'd think this would be the end for him, but in Soya's case, it's actually
24:43the opposite as all of his restraints come off and he becomes a demon.
24:52In a flash, Soya takes down both the brothers as well as any Tenjiku members that decide to
24:58come near him.
25:02Number 25 Nezuko goes full demon – Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Oh, Nezuko, sweet innocent
25:10little Nezuko.
25:11She may be a demon and all, but thanks to her big heart, she's managed to stay in her
25:16right mind.
25:17Up until this point, Daki shouldn't have played with her food too much, since a threat
25:22against Tanjiro's life results in her earning the ire of his sister.
25:27But this isn't the cutie pie we're used to.
25:30No, this is a Nezuko whose power can rival that of even an upper moon.
25:35Just like that, Daki goes from a threat to a pitiable creature.
25:45It's only until Tanjiro intervenes that we're able to see our favorite backpack dweller back
25:51to normal.
25:56Number 24 Sayaka's Despair – Madoka Majika Hell hath no fury like a woman cucked.
26:03After giving everything in order to save her beloved Kyousuke from his ailments, she learns
26:08that now he's all fixed up, he's fallen in love.
26:11Just not with her.
26:20This means she's lost every reason she had to become a magical girl and drowns her sorrows
26:26in sheer violence.
26:32With no direction left in life, it's the witches who suffer her wrath, a path that would
26:37lead her to becoming one herself.
26:42Number 23 Dark Sonic – Sonic X The final arc of Sonic X takes a much darker
26:49turn and nowhere is this more apparent than in this scene where Sonic obtains a transformation
26:55we've never seen in any other Sonic media.
27:02After seeing an unconscious Chris and terrified Cosmo, the negative energy within the Dark Chaos
27:09Emeralds begins to have an effect on Sonic and transforms him into a new Dark form.
27:15Even when Black Narcissus unleashes two powerful robots against him, Dark Sonic makes quick work
27:21of them.
27:27It's a form so unlike the Blue Blur that even Dr. Eggman is concerned for his well-being.
27:37Number 22 Jinwoo solos Dongsuk and his underlings – Solo Leveling
27:44With all the skull-crushing Jinwoo had been doing in his grinding spree, it was only a
27:48matter of time before he was tasked with taking down some of his fellow dungeon wages.
27:56But you can't say they didn't push him.
27:59After leaving the two young lads for dead so they could reap the rewards the Zone had
28:03to offer, they come back to check on the damage, only to find them still alive.
28:08Enraged by their selfish antics, Jinwoo finally snaps and takes them out one by one.
28:17His reservations about killing other humans fly out of the window.
28:27Number 21 Punch Drunk Sugimoto – Golden Kamui
28:32Sugimoto and the crew would stop at nothing to find Asirpa during this arc of the story.
28:37That includes participating in some good old-fashioned fisty-cuffs with Russians in a barn.
28:48However, Sugimoto's never-say-die attitude pushes him too far and soon he's completely taken over by his thirst for
28:57blood.
29:00After wiping the floor with the other participants, he turns his attention to Gansoku.
29:06What follows is a stunning display of Sugimoto's brute strength as he dishes out everything against the behemoth of a
29:13man.
29:13In the end, he walks away the victor.
29:16But it isn't until he takes an unplanned skinny dip that he's able to get back to his senses.
29:27The arcadeATE series of really hits 4. Mach Tower.
29:31Trapped and continually-tortured by a sadistic monster with a Friday the 13th fetish esas
29:37a way of putting someone in a bad headspace.
29:39space.
29:43With Yamori's constant mutilations combined with Rize haunting his mind, Kaneki's humanity
29:49slips away, resulting in him embracing his newfound ghoul nature, leading him to turn
29:55the tables on his tormentor.
30:04Not only is he able to power through Yamori's transformed state, but he gives him a taste
30:09of his own fearful medicine by digging into him for dinner.
30:27One does not simply injure the beloved of an alpha simp.
30:31With the crown game coming to a close, Rachel suffers a lethal head wound when one of the
30:37masked combatants tries to take the throne from Bam.
30:48Overcome by such a sight, Bam's irregular nature kicks into gear and unleashes such a vast amount
30:54of high-tier Shinsu that it cleaves out one of the navigator's eyes.
31:07Thankfully, the Black March chose to interfere before he totally lost it and tried to end
31:13her life as revenge for Rachel.
31:15Yeah, how's that attitude working out for you now, Bam?
31:18Well, first of all, don't you just love it when your party is on its last legs, only for
31:40you to land that all-important critical.
31:47Despite getting his body severely damaged by a goblin champion, the titular adventurer refuses
31:53to simply lay down and die.
32:03Instead, with nothing more than some hair and one hell of a second wind, he climbs atop the
32:09beast and strangles the ever-loving Gimli out of it until it suffocates.
32:14Pretty impressive for a man hemorrhaging a colossal amount of blood behind that helmet.
32:26The Manslayer Returns
32:30There are very few things that can push a changed man like Kenshin to revert back to the demon
32:36he was during his assassin career.
32:42Threatening to slice down a child just happens to be one of them.
32:46With Sho willing to use his bladed whip on an innocent, Kenshin is pushed to his limit,
32:52resolving to use the killer techniques of the Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu.
33:01If not for the reveal that he had been in possession of the reverse blade the whole time, Sho would
33:06be missing the lower half of his body from just one slash.
33:23Dark Digivolution
33:24As heartbreaking as it might be to see something as adorable as Gilmon be turned into a grotesque
33:32data packet, that's what you get when you delete their friends right in front of them.
33:46In the wake of Leomon's demise, Takato embraces his militia side and forces Gilmon to transform,
33:53which prompts a sudden Digivolution to Megidramon, a mega level that is nigh uncontrollable and
34:00fixated on devouring his target.
34:09As with most things in Tamers, this was on a whole other level of dark.
34:26The legend of the legendary heroes
34:29If you know the guy you've captured happens to be the vessel for an entity that can eradicate
34:34everything, why would you go out of your way to taunt him by attacking his friends and showing
34:40him the corpses of his fellow mages?
34:45Whatever the reason, the magic knights soon learned they were dealing with a literal devil
34:51since Reiner's despair at such cruelty allowed the alpha stigma to take over, where it proceeds
34:57to do what it does best and erase everything in its sight.
35:01In the most gruesome way possible, of course.
35:04No.14, Advance vs. Removal
35:07Kengen Ashura
35:14Throughout the Kengen tournament, driven by his desire for revenge, Oma continuously relied
35:20on the double-edged sword that was the Advance.
35:23A power boost that could improve his strength, but at the cost of his lifespan.
35:28While usually able to put some manner of limit on himself, that all went out the window when
35:33ran up against Ryan Kure and his equally sinister transformation of removal.
35:45Unable to cope with the taboo descendants' onslaughts, Oma abandoned the warnings of his
35:50mentor and allowed the Advance to take hold, becoming a crimson-skinned monstrosity in his
35:56own right.
36:11Despite his cavalier attitude and sickening approach to the sport, Ryan Hawk was nonetheless
36:16one hell of an obstacle challenge for Takamura to overcome.
36:26With so much force behind his punches, the champion eventually succeeded in rendering Takamura
36:32partially unconscious.
36:33Unluckily for him, in doing so, he awakened the beast.
36:46Fueled with rage over how Hawk had previously injured Coach Kamogawa, his body acted instinctively
36:52and, relying on his training, pummeled the feathers out of Hawk until he was up-chucking blood
36:58all over the ring.
37:129 times out of 10, Rokuro is the nicest kid on the block.
37:17He can punch you to hell and back with his impurity arm, but he's still a chipper lad
37:22with a massive heart.
37:23Unless you're Yuto, then you're liable to get a meteor smash to the face.
37:34After the one-eyed killer tells Benio he never cared for her as a sister, Roku loses it.
37:47Sure, Yuto still knocks him around like a tennis ball.
37:50But it's the sight of our boy's arm howling in murderous glee while his eyes glow like
37:56a demon that sticks with us.

38:06Curse Shield – The Rising of the Shield Hero
38:10Naofumi was already not in the best place mentally given his horrific treatment ever
38:15since being dropped into this corrupt kingdom.
38:17But watching his cherished talking chicken daughter get gobbled up by a zombie dragon, that's
38:23a bridge too far.
38:30Unlocking the Curse Shield of Wrath, this highly destructive yet all-consuming form was certainly
38:36able to burn away the rot of the dragon.
38:39But given how it fed on his rage, it also had the unfortunate side effect of blaring Naofumi's
38:45perception of friend and foe together, leading to best girl Raftalia being injured in the
38:50process.
