00:00In this video, I'm going to be sharing 10 useful app ideas you can vibe code to actually improve
00:05your life. And no, I don't mean simple habit trackers or to-do lists. I'm talking about apps
00:10that will help you make more money, save more time, and overall just be happier. The best part
00:15is that you can build each of them in under 10 minutes without writing any code. And so if you're
00:20looking for a fun weekend project to improve your vibe coding skills, keep watching. By the way,
00:24I built all 10 apps using a platform called Mocha. They're designed with non-technical users in mind
00:29and you can check them out by heading to the link in the description below. All right, let's get into
00:34it. App number one is an AI travel itinerary planner. So normally if you ask ChatGPT to give you an
00:40itinerary, it will give you something quite generic, not really tailored towards your needs and
00:44preferences. What this world itinerary planner does is it asks you a whole bunch of follow-up
00:49questions to understand your travel style. So let's say I want to take a solo trip to Paris for three
00:54days. I want a balanced itinerary and I want to see the Eiffel Tower. All I have to do is
01:00click on
01:00generate my itinerary and here's what it comes up with. It's planned a pretty balanced three-day
01:05itinerary and also kept in mind that I wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower. App idea number two is to
01:10create any type of 30-day challenge. You can vibe code a landing page as well as the challenge and
01:15just charge something like $10 for people to join. In this case, I created a 30-day wellness challenge
01:21and let me show you what's inside. So once people sign up and pay, they can click on access dashboard
01:26and here's the challenge. Every single day they'll be given a milestone that they can complete and
01:31check off. And at the end of the 30 days, you can set a little prize. In my case, they
01:35can enter a
01:36draw to win a pair of AirPods. Depending on the niche you want to target, you can also create something
01:40like a 30-day tech challenge, a 30-day self-study challenge, an AI challenge and so on. App idea
01:46number
01:47four is an AI-powered expense tracker. Now, if you're anything like me, you might have tried out a whole
01:52bunch of budget trackers in your life. The great thing about vibe coding your own one is that you
01:56can tailor it exactly the way you like. So everything from the dashboards, the categories, as well as the
02:01recent transactions are completely customizable. The way my one works is that I sort my expenses out by
02:07categories and it also provides me with AI-powered insights. For example, here it says that I spent 9%
02:13more on eating out this month compared to January and it suggests that cooking at home could save
02:18me around $102 per month. The way I've built my tracker is that I can simply import a CSV file
02:24of
02:24my transactions or I can manually choose to add an expense. So for example, $10 on a coffee and then
02:30click on add expense. App idea number four is a resume roaster. Now, this is another one that can help
02:36you make money. You can create a website like this where users can upload a copy of their resume
02:41and then get some very honest advice. And if they'd like a full rewrite of their resume,
02:45you can charge something like $10. Both the feedback and the rewrite is AI-powered by the
02:50way. No need to manually help them fix their resume. You can also customize the website based on your
02:55niche. So for example, I can create a cloud resume roaster. Alright, app idea number four is to create
03:01a Linktree clone. So if you're not familiar with Linktree, it pretty much aggregates all your social
03:05media links and anything you'd like to highlight into one single clickable link. But the issue with
03:10Linktree is that if you want to access all of the features, including analytics, you'll have to pay
03:15a monthly subscription. This can slowly add up and eat into your budget. The good news is you can
03:20actually vibe code your site completely for free. And you can add on your own analytics. So for example,
03:26you can see that one person has clicked on my link. But if we go back and click on this
03:30link again,
03:30it's now going to show two clicks. I can also customize the theme and design however I like.
03:36Now, before we move on to app idea number six, I want to give you a walkthrough of how you
03:40can
03:40actually use Mocha to build these apps. And trust me, it's very simple. Mocha is an AI-powered app
03:46builder that allows you to build beautiful custom websites using natural language, which pretty much
03:51means you can type in anything you'd like and Mocha will just build it out. Instead of paying for
03:56multiple services like Superbase, Vercel, and so on, you get everything all in one integrated solution.
04:02Not only is this easier for you to use, but it also allows the agent to achieve a quality that's
04:07higher
04:07than most of the tools in the market right now. They've recently launched Mocha Max, which gives
04:11you higher performance for advanced tasks like debugging and complex designs. They also have a
04:16new built-in email functionality that requires no technical setup or third-party integrations.
04:21And you can now track user analytics directly within Mocha. Things like visitor behavior,
04:26page performance, and location. Pretty cool, right? Okay, let's take a look inside their platform.
04:31All right, so here's the interface of Mocha. As you can see, here are the 10 apps that I built.
04:37To start off, click on create new app, and all we have to do is type in our idea. If
04:42you're not too
04:42sure what app to build, there's some inspiration for you. So you can create an e-commerce store,
04:47Twitter feed, recipe finder, and so on. And when you click on one of these, let's say a quiz game,
04:52it automatically provides a prompt for you. There's also templates as well. So let's say if I click on
04:58mural painting services, here's one example of a website you can create with Mocha. If you like it,
05:03you can simply go to the bottom right to clone it. And once you do, you can customize it the
05:08way
05:08you like. So for example, change the background to purple. Click enter, and there you go. Now,
05:15as you can see, Mocha is very simple to use, because as I mentioned, it's designed with
05:20non-technical builders in mind. And so I'd like to show you some powerful capabilities they've
05:24recently released, and how easy it is to use them. Starting off with Mocha Max, let's say I want to
05:30build a fitness coach that provides me with custom workouts. Hit enter, and let's give it a moment to
05:37generate the app. Amazing. Okay, here's the result. Pretty much with this app, you can select your
05:42fitness level, your goals, available equipment, and then click on generate my workout. Pretty cool.
05:47But what I want to do is add a simple login page for new users. And because we're working with
05:55something more complex like authentication, I'm going to choose to change the Mocha model to max.
06:00This helps with more complex tasks. Nice. Okay, the login page has been created. Something else I want to add
06:06is a welcome email for everyone who signs up. So I'll just type in add a welcome email for new
06:14users upon signing up. Now, this is something built directly within Mocha. No need for a third-party
06:21email tool. Click on save. So now, if I click on continue with Gmail and sign in, this is what
06:27happens.
06:28I'll be directed inside. I can add in my email, and then the sender's name. In this case, Fitforge,
06:34which is the name of our app. Click save. And now, when I log in, I can check my email
06:39for a welcome
06:40message. And here it is, an email from Fitforge. Now, you might be wondering where Mocha is storing
06:45all its data, especially because we're creating a platform with multiple users. Now, similar to the
06:50email functionality, the database is built in as well. So if I click on data, you'll be able to see
06:56a database of the users. Pretty much just my other accounts right now. Now, as I've shown you earlier,
07:01if you want to customize the design, you can simply just ask Mocha to make any changes.
07:06But there's also an option to do it manually. All you have to do is click on this arrow over
07:10here,
07:11and you can make manual edits to your application. Let's say, Lucy's AI-powered fitness coach.
07:17Click update. And just like that, the text is updated. All right, now that our app is complete,
07:23let me quickly show you how you can publish and deploy it. So just click on publish up the top
07:27here,
07:27and then click publish app. Let's copy this link and paste it into a new browser. Perfect, here it is.
07:34You can also edit the domain. So for example, I'll rename it fitforge.mocha.app. Or you could choose
07:40to add your own custom domain. For example, fitforge.techwithlucy.com. So yeah, feel free to
07:46give this a go yourself. As you can see, I've now vibe coded 12 apps on Mocha. Now, app idea
07:51number six
07:52is a pretty interesting one. A lot of people wonder how much they need to retire and when they
07:57can retire. And so one idea is to vibe code a FIRE calculator, which stands for financial
08:02independence, retire early. The whole idea behind FIRE is that if you have a million dollars, for
08:07example, you can withdraw 4% of that every single year. And you can pretty much live off that
08:12indefinitely. Mostly because stock market returns average out to be around 8 to 10% per year.
08:17Anyways, I've created this simple dashboard where you can enter your retirement spending.
08:22So for example, $60,000 and it calculates your FIRE number. You can also add in your current age
08:29as well as the amount of savings you currently have. Something like this will give you a very
08:33clear overview of how much money you need to make and when you can retire. App idea number seven is
08:38to turn blogs into podcasts. Now, we've all got really short attention spans these days. So what if
08:44there's a way to turn written text into podcasts? You know, something conversational so that it doesn't
08:49sound really dry and boring. That's exactly what you can do with this website at Vibe Coded. You can
08:54enter the URL of your blog or you can copy and paste in some text. Select the style that you
08:59like
08:59and then it's going to generate a podcast. Now, how it works behind the scenes is that it actually
09:04changes your text into a podcast style audio transcript and then it feeds it into Eleven Labs to
09:09generate the podcast. This one is also something you can very easily create a business out of or
09:14you can just choose to use it to improve your own productivity. Okay, app idea number eight is to
09:19create a Spotify clone that's dedicated to help you study and focus. Now, whenever we go into Spotify,
09:25we're usually bombarded with a whole bunch of songs. And so you can vibe code something with quite a
09:29simple interface but only with songs that will actually help you focus. For example, this one.
09:38Nice. App idea number nine is a tech news dashboard. If you're sick and tired of going to multiple news
09:44sites to find out what's been happening around the world, then you can just build something that
09:47aggregates all the news together. In this case, I built an AWS cloud news dashboard that brings news
09:53from four different websites. It categorizes the news by different topics and it also provides a
09:58highlight of today's top news. You can either add a refresh button or you can ask it to automatically
10:03update the news. And finally, app idea number 10 is to launch a paid newsletter or blog. Now, you can
10:09easily do this with a platform like Substack or Beehive, but what's great about vibe coding your own
10:14website is that you won't be paying any platform fees. You can also customize the design exactly how
10:19you'd like. So what I've done here is create a website with a bunch of career advice articles.
10:24Some of them are free and some of them are paid. And so if people enjoy your free content, they
10:29can
10:29subscribe to your premium one for a monthly subscription. Vibe coding something like this
10:33can help you easily monetize your skills or passions. And it doesn't have to be in tech.
10:38It can be about cooking, sports, music, art, or anything you'd like. Once you build something like
10:44this and create a community, you'll have a steady stream of semi-passive income.
10:48Alright, so that was a walkthrough of 10 useful apps you can vibe code in under 10 minutes each.
10:53Let me know in the comments which one you're most excited to build first. You can sign up for
10:57mocha for free using my link in the description below. Please give this video a like if you found
11:02it helpful and I'll see you in the next one. Bye for now!
