00:01Banished to the outskirts of the bandicoot's territory, he licks his wounds and braces for
00:07more battles. Luckily, he is able to catch a sleeping bird, but he must eat quickly as it
00:17will soon draw other predators towards him. Few animals here match the brush-tailed possum's
00:27strength and fighting ability. In a desperate attempt to keep his meal, he hides his prey
00:44and tries to meet the larger animal head on. He has no chance against him and retreats
00:53quickly. When a second possum arrives, he needs to withdraw from the area. If he wants to
01:09return to his meal, he will have to wait and hope that other predators don't find it. But
01:19his time is running out. He will die from stress after his first breeding season, if he survives
01:27that long.
