A memorial to the 72 people killed in the Grenfell Tower disaster will help ensure the victims are “never forgotten”, Steve Reed has said.

00:01The Grenfell Tower memorial bill received its third reading on Monday and will go to the House of Lords before

00:09It came as the MP for the area, Labour's Joe Powell, said he had been told the Crown Prosecution Service
00:15could make decisions on any criminal charges by spring next year.
00:20As he said, the Metropolitan Police continues to look into the case.

00:33The recommendation of a permanent memorial was made in the independent Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission, which was set up in

00:51A physical and digital archive, along with a permanent exhibition, will also be set up.
00:58Mr Reid said it would ensure the story of Grenfell is preserved as a lesson for the future.
