00:00Are you able to at this stage, is anyone able to at this stage start guesstimating a price tag for
00:06what this disruption is causing the, is costing the GCC?
00:10Yeah, I think there are some guesstimates and I think people are beginning to figure out there are short term
00:16immediate effects, negative effects as a result of the inability to travel, the inability to have tourists, the inability to
00:25have businesses free flowing in the region, the inability to have foreign direct investments into the region and also the
00:36region to act as a hub.
00:37Not just shipping or logistics, but also on sports and other events.
00:43So the region suffers as a result of that.
00:46So there is this kind of effect.
00:48Then there is the macro economic effect, which has to do with what we think is going to happen as
00:54a result of lower oil production.
00:56The production side has an effect on the economy.
01:00So that means that some economies will feel the pinch and they will be able to produce less economic output.
01:10But over the medium term, I don't think this is going to be a long drawn out war.
01:16Over the medium term, we should be able to recover.
01:19But there are negative effects as a result of what we're seeing today.
