00:07as part of International Women's Day on March 7th.
00:11Led by the force's Women in Policing Network, the initiative aims to listen to women and girls
00:16and improve community policing strategies.
00:20Over 35 attendees joined discussions on understanding rights, reporting and support services.
00:26The event also looked into how the police can better protect women and girls.
00:31Superintendent Susan Mabbitt spoke about the Public Protection Unit
00:35while the event provided space for networking, sharing experiences
