00:00Perhaps no one noticed, but at some point along the way, something within you became silent.
00:06It wasn't a scream, it wasn't a visible collapse, it was more subtle.
00:11One day you woke up and got out of bed because you needed to, not because you wanted to.
00:16In the other, he smiled politely, then began to push through the days as if pushing an invisible weight.
00:23And now, even though I'm breathing, it feels like something essential has stopped beating inside.
00:28If you feel you've lost the will to do anything, stay here, but not out of obligation.
00:33Stay because this might be the first time in a long time that someone will truly notice you.
00:40There's a type of tiredness that doesn't go away with sleeping.
00:43An exhaustion that is not directly related to the body, but to that which sustains life from within.
00:48He arrives slowly, almost politely.
00:51At first you think it's just a phase, too much work, too many worries, accumulated responsibilities.
00:58You tell yourself that it's normal, that everyone lives like this.
01:02And it really does live on.
01:03But that doesn't mean it's healthy.
01:06Gradually, things that once had color begin to fade.
01:10The coffee doesn't taste the same anymore.
01:13The music that used to give you goosebumps now sounds distant.
01:15People you once loved seem out of sync.
01:19And without realizing it, you begin to drift away not only from the world, but from yourself.
01:24The most dangerous aspect of this process is that it doesn't come with a clear warning.
01:29There is no sign saying
01:31Warning, you are losing the will to live.
01:34It manifests itself in the details.
01:36In the absence of power, to start with something simple.
01:39In the absurd difficulty of finishing what one has started.
01:43The constant feeling that everything requires a gigantic effort.
01:47It's not laziness.
01:49It's not a lack of discipline.
01:50It's as if vital energy has been drained.
01:54As if the source that moved you had dried up.
01:57And when that happens, the mind tries to find explanations.
02:01But often, all you find is a question echoing deep in your chest.
02:06For what?
02:07This question is more common than you might think.
02:10Why wake up early?
02:12Why insist?
02:13Why keep trying?
02:16It comes with an emptiness that's hard to explain.
02:20Like an inner void that nothing seems to fill.
02:23No matter what you achieve, what you buy, what you accomplish,
02:27The emptiness remains there, silent and heavy.
02:31Everything seems meaningless.
02:33Everything seems colorless.
02:34And the more you try to ignore it, the stronger that feeling becomes.
02:40Many people live like this for years without realizing what is really happening.
02:44Learn to operate on autopilot.
02:47Completes tasks.
02:48Respond to messages.
02:50She goes from one commitment to another like someone chasing their own tail.
02:54Always busy.
02:55Always tired.
02:57Always late for something that never arrives.
02:59Life becomes an exhausting cycle that repeats itself without offering any emotional reward.
03:05And when you look at it from the bottom up, you realize it's not the routine that's tiring.
03:11It is the absence of meaning in it.
03:14Sometimes, this loss of motivation stems from deep frustration.
03:18Something that didn't work out.
03:20An interrupted dream.
03:22A relationship that hurt more than you expected.
03:25A project that crumbled when you believed in it the most.
03:28And without realizing it, you do something very human.
03:32Take that specific pain and let it contaminate everything.
03:36A part of their story comes to define the entire story.
03:41You start to believe that if that failed, then nothing else is worthwhile.
03:47That's where the will shuts down.
03:49As a defense mechanism.
03:51Not trying seems safer than risking disappointment again.
03:54In other cases, the problem isn't something that went wrong.
03:57But something that never really started.
04:00A disconnect between who you are on the inside and the life you lead on the outside.
04:05You even have dreams, ideas, desires.
04:09But routine pushes you in the opposite direction.
04:12Every day spent away from what makes sense to you takes its toll.
04:16And this price is paid in the form of discouragement, apathy, emptiness.
04:20It's like constantly walking against one's own nature.
04:24At some point, the body and mind demand an explanation.
04:28When all of this accumulates, what many call an existential crisis emerges.
04:34And despite the name sounding scary, it's not necessarily a sign of weakness or illness.
04:41It is a profound questioning of existence itself.
04:45Who am I? Why am I here? What am I doing with my life?
04:50These questions don't arise when everything is comfortable.
04:54They arise when something essential needs to be reviewed.
04:57When the soul, so to speak, asks for attention.
05:01There is a powerful idea within psychology that states that human beings are driven by a will to meaning.
05:07Without even realizing it, we all search for something that makes life worth living.
05:12A reason why? A guiding principle.
05:14When this desire is frustrated, when it finds no space to express itself, emptiness arises.
05:20Not because you're broken, but because something important within you is being ignored.
05:25Emptiness, in this sense, is not the end.
05:28It's a sign.
05:30An uncomfortable invitation.
05:32But it's necessary to look inward.
05:34And perhaps this is the most important point of all.
05:38The crisis didn't come to destroy you.
05:42She came to wake you up.
05:44She's showing that things can't go on like this anymore.
05:47Something needs to change.
05:49And change is scary.
05:51It hurts.
05:52It creates insecurity.
05:53But continuing as things are costs even more.
05:56The pain of moving is real.
05:58But the pain of remaining still is often silently devastating.
06:05The first step in this recovery is not having all the answers.
06:09It's doing exactly what you're doing right now.
06:12To stop.
06:13To hear.
06:14Reflect.
06:15Recognizing that something is wrong.
06:17This is already a movement of life.
06:20Identify which areas of your life are suffocating you.
06:23What situations generate constant anguish, where you feel you are losing yourself?
06:29Not to blame yourself, but to understand.
06:31Because when you understand, you regain the power of choice.
06:35Change doesn't mean turning everything upside down all at once.
06:39It means starting with the point that hurts the most.
06:42From there, other areas naturally reorganize themselves.
06:46Life is not made up of isolated compartments.
06:48Everything is connected.
06:50When one part heals, the others feel it.
06:52When one part becomes ill, the whole suffers.
06:55And before any external change, there is an essential change that needs to happen from within.
07:01Self-knowledge.
07:03Knowing who you are, what you're missing, what hurts you, what still makes your eyes shine,
07:10even if it's just a little.
07:11None of this is simple.
07:13There is no magic formula.
07:15No path is without discomfort.
07:17Suffering is part of the process.
07:19Feeling pain is part of the process.
07:21The problem is not suffering.
07:23It's about settling into suffering as if it were the only possible dwelling place.
07:28There are always alternatives.
07:30There's always some movement possible.
07:33Sometimes small.
07:34Sometimes slow.
07:35But it's possible.
07:36If you've made it this far, it's because, despite everything, something in you still wants to live.
07:42Perhaps weak.
07:42Maybe tired.
07:43But present.
07:44Honor that.
07:45The will may be dormant, but it hasn't disappeared.
07:49She hopes to be reconnected to meaning.
07:52Meaning doesn't equate to constant happiness.
07:55It's not the absence of problems.
07:57It's about knowing why you get out of bed, even on the hardest days.
