00:00Alex, a street bender, made a living selling homemade pastries.
00:03He struggled with all his might every day.
00:06One day, he saw Logan, a wealthy entrepreneur, dressed in fine clothes,
00:10walk out of an upscale cafe, holding a cup of fancy latte.
00:13Alex then prayed to God,
00:15This is unfair. I work day and night, yet I live such a miserable life.
00:20God asked,
00:21What does fairness look like in your eyes?
00:23Alex said firmly,
00:24Make him as poor as me.
00:25Give each of us a crate of oranges,
00:27$50, a small stall, and 15 days.
00:30If he can still turn his life around, I will never complain again.
00:34It's a deal.
00:34As soon as God finished speaking, Logan instantly lost all his wealth,
00:38receiving exactly the same crate of oranges, money, and stall as Alex's.
00:42On the first day, Alex dumped the oranges on his stall half-heartedly
00:46and shouted as loudly as he could,
00:48Oranges, $1 each.
00:50He sold 10 oranges and earned $10.
00:53He closed his stall early and went to the nearest diner to buy a hot hamburger and ice soda.
00:57That's enough for today, he thought.
00:59I'll work harder tomorrow.
01:00Logan, however, first polished every orange until it shined,
01:04then sorted them by size.
01:06Small ones, $1.
01:08Large ones, $2.
01:09He cut a few slices to make samples and politely offered them to passersby.
01:13By noon, all 30 oranges were sold, earning him $45.
01:17He didn't spend a cent and saved all of it.
01:20Early the next morning, Alex found half his crate of oranges rotten and had to throw them away.
01:24Logan, however, used his $45 to buy two more crates of fresh oranges,
01:29made orange cups selling for $3 each,
01:31and partnered with the nearby convenience store to sell on consignment.
01:34He even hired a student to man the stall while he searched for better quality oranges.
01:3815 days passed quickly.
01:40Alex only had $8 left, and his stall was empty and dusty.
01:43Logan, however, had built the supply chain.
01:46Three part-time helpers signed monthly contracts with three stores,
01:50earned $1,200, and was planning to open a fresh juice stand.
01:54Alex stared silently.
01:56God spoke.
01:57Alex, you saw the oranges as food to exchange for a meal.
02:00Logan saw them as seeds to grow value.
02:02Money is a tool, but spotting opportunities, solving problems,
02:06and creating value for others that is true wealth.
02:09The rich don't chase money.
02:10They chase ways to make life easier, meet needs,
02:13and turn small resources into bigger value.
02:16Even if you take their money, their mindset stays.
02:18That is why they rise again and again.
