00:00Before we go in the huddle, because there was a lot of commotion over the weekend, especially on social media,
00:05I do want to point out that it's officially done-zo with Kirk Cousins.
00:09His house is for sale.
00:11If you know anyone in the market, beautiful brick home.
00:15His house is for sale?
00:176,888 square feet.
00:19Interesting.
00:20That's interesting.
00:21Built in 2004.
00:23Because did he not say when you moved here that they were always going to move here at the end
00:27of the day anyways?
00:29Yeah, I wonder, maybe he's not leaving the city of Atlanta.
00:33Maybe he's just moving closer to where her parents live.
00:37Yeah, because he was in a spot where he could get out to Flowery Branch pretty easily.
00:42So maybe he just wants to be closer to them.
00:44But, I mean, five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, $2.995 million.
00:48He's got that, as seen on TV, pricing going on.
00:51Yeah, man.
00:52Do y'all know what someone could do to Kirk Cousins now?
00:56Walk into your trap, take over your trap.
01:02I'll give you credit.
01:04I'll see myself out now.
01:07I'll give you credit.
01:08I'll see what you did there.
01:10I thought it was interesting, though, too, that this was for sale already.
01:13Because I thought the same, that he was going to be staying in the area.
01:16Maybe he is.
01:16And when he bought it two years ago, it was like they were doing a lot of work to it.
01:22That's what I'm saying.
01:23And they talked about how, oh, this will be our forever home.
01:25Like, do you realize you signed a two-year, you signed a four-year deal that was a two-year
01:30deal?
01:30And they knew that.
01:31So, like, it was always, like, two years.
01:34It was kind of what it was going to be.
01:38That was, like, I don't know.
01:41I, okay.
01:41You know what?
01:42Maybe he doesn't like his neighbors.
01:43I don't know.
01:45I think this is, if I had to guess, I don't know.
01:47If I had to guess, though, this is simply a, you know, we're not going to Flower Branch anymore.
01:51Let's move to the part of, you know, where we're going to settle down at.
01:54Let's go to Buckhead or something.
01:55Maybe.
01:56What?
01:57Maybe.
01:58Her parents live in that, I thought they live in that area, right?
02:02Oh, I don't know.
02:03She's from Roswell.
02:04Okay, Roswell.
02:06So, maybe they're moving closer there.
02:07All right.
02:08I don't know.
02:08Who cares?
02:09I mean, I'm with you.
02:11I don't care where he is.
02:12It's like, I'm not knocking the story.
02:14The story is, is he leaving Atlanta or is he staying here for the long time?
02:18Well, I bet he's just trying to get closer to the in-laws because nobody wants to take
02:21three interstates to get to their in-laws.
02:24Trust me.
02:24Especially not those three.
02:26No.
02:26Especially not those three.
02:27No.
02:27Exactly.
02:28Yeah.
02:29Trust me.
02:29I get that.
02:30You spent a couple years here and then all of a sudden you're like, boy, we really messed
02:33up with where we bought.
02:35And they're not really worried about interest rates either, so I think they're good.
02:38If you can stay off 285, you're better for it.
02:41I'll do everything to avoid 285.
02:43Oh, it's brutal, man.
02:45It's brutal out there, guys.
02:46It's brutal.
02:47Keep it 10 and 2 out there today, guys.
02:49Seriously, it's nasty out.
02:50All right, let's go in the huddle.
02:53Hold it up.
02:53Let's go.
02:54Now, the morning shift goes in the huddle.
02:56A look at the latest football news.
02:58Brought to you by Window Nation.
02:59Buy four windows, get four free.
03:01Here's Allie, Mike, and Bo.
03:03We talked about this a little bit earlier.
03:05The Giants signed Darnell Mooney to a one-year deal worth up to $10 million.
03:10See you later, Darnell.
03:12I'm happy for him.
03:14I've been talking back and forth with one of my buddies, a Giants fan.
03:17He's like, we're stoked.
03:18He's like, you know, all this stuff we're doing will probably still end up being an
03:20under 500 team.
03:21And I was like, that's just how it rolls, man.
03:24That's how it rolls.
03:25Like, I hope the best for Darnell.
03:27I hope he recaptures whatever magic was a couple years ago.
03:30But who knows, dude?
03:31Like, who knows?
03:33You know what's funny is I was listening to, off of the beaten path of the Darnell stuff,
03:37but more online what you're talking about, I was listening to a show the other day on
03:41the NFL channel, and they were like, yeah, man, the Giants are going to be, you know,
03:47look at the talent they have, and they're now well-coached, you know.
03:51You know, look at the games last year.
03:53They blew these leagues, and they won't have that anymore.
03:54And when the guy goes, well, hold on a second now.
03:57You can give John Harbaugh his flowers all you want, but don't act like they ain't going to,
04:00like, his team doesn't blow leads, all right?
04:03Yeah, yeah.
04:03He's got a lot of blown leads, and whoever it was, it's like, bop, bop.
04:08With much better players.
04:10Yeah, and he's like, oh, yeah, that's a pretty good point.
04:13But, I mean, you know, it's going to be a more, it's going to be a professionally-ranked
04:16organization now, and it's like, yeah, it's great, but let's not out like they don't blow.
04:21John Harbaugh's that infamous for blowing leads.
04:23I do not believe, personally, I do not believe Darno Mooney's going to go up and have some
04:28kind of crazy amount of success.
04:29I hope he does, but personally, I just don't see it.
04:31But what does that say about the situation that happened here last year if he does?
04:34Well, look, you can blame the locker room or the coaching, all you wanted.
04:41He was, whatever happened with his injury, he did not play the same.
04:47He played much more physical in 24 than he did last year, whether it was the injury in
04:54the back.
04:54You can speak on it way more than I can when you're trying to battle through an injury during
04:58a season.
04:59I mean, we've all been injured if we played sports at all.
05:03I do believe it's different when you're being paid.
05:06I'm tough.
05:07It's tough for me to understand what it was because I don't, the problems I saw with him
05:12and the physicality and how slight he looked, that doesn't, to me, equal a shoulder injury.
05:18You know what I mean?
05:19Like, if you have a knee, an ankle, and you're a wide receiver, you're having trouble running
05:21routes, getting in and out of your breaks, then I'm like, oh, okay.
05:24Yeah, man, he's really struggling through it.
05:25But to have a shoulder injury and look the way he did, that's where I'm like, ah, man,
05:29I don't know what version they're doing.
05:31I don't question players' toughness or attitude unless you can see something on tape that shows
05:39that they're not giving effort or they're being, you know, shying away from it, backing
05:45down.
05:46Yeah, quitting on a route.
05:47It's kind of lazy at times, running lazy routes, that kind of thing.
05:50But it almost felt like he didn't do anything when he was hurt.
05:53It almost felt like he didn't do, not even, you know, you can at least still do leg workouts
05:57and stuff.
05:58It almost felt like, I know it was a shoulder thing, but you got trainers you can do.
06:01It almost felt like he was like, yeah, I'm good.
06:04I'll see you next year.
06:05At times.
06:07Speaking of former Falcons, Elijah Wilkinson, who is now with the Cardinals, was getting
06:13a little heated with Falcons fans over the weekend, called the Falcons a clown show, and
06:18then anytime someone would say something to him, he was responding 28-3.
06:23Yeah, man.
06:24It's not a good look.
06:25His social media account became a clown show this weekend.
06:28It's a terrible look because with all due respect to Elijah Wilkins, and remember, I said
06:34with all due respect, you're a depth player in this league, and you started last year,
06:42and I thought you did an admirable job filling in.
06:45I'm not going to come off of that.
06:46You had a lot of false starts.
06:50Your play got worse as the year went on, but don't act like you're some 15-year veteran
06:55that...
06:56You're not Trent Williams, dog.
06:57Let's just put it that way.
06:58Yeah, you're not.
06:59I mean, you're exactly what you got signed to go to Arizona to do.
07:04Yeah, I struggle through this one because I have had Elijah Wilkinson's back on...
07:09A lot of people say he's one of the worst players on the team last year.
07:11I don't believe that.
07:13I think that you have to remind yourself what Caleb McGarry was going to be before you
07:17saw Elijah Wilkinson.
07:18Like, Caleb McGarry was not going to be some lockdown, you know, pass protector, and that's
07:22who you're going to get.
07:22Elijah Wilkinson was right on par with what I believe Caleb McGarry would have been in the
07:25passing game.
07:26But you no longer get the benefit of the doubt from me, big fella.
07:29Like, I'm good on that.
07:31Yeah, you had...
07:32You went there.
07:35That's the one place you cannot go towards Falcons fans, and you went there, man.
07:40So, nah, you're cooked.
07:42You're going to continue to be a depth piece like Bo said.
07:46You enjoyed your best years of your career in Atlanta, in my opinion, and so I'm happy
07:50for you.
07:51But how would he even know this is a clown show?
07:53So, it's a completely different group of people running the show up there in Flyer
07:58Branch than it was just three months ago.
08:00Like, you don't know when he...
08:01Like, you've probably been in Cancun for the last three weeks.
08:03And I have a suspicion that if the Cardinals don't do well, he will be seeing these screenshots.
08:08They will be DM'd to him.
08:10Oh, I'm positive of that.
08:11The thing that bugged me is I was fine with him saying what he wanted to about the people
08:16that he worked with.
08:17Like, if he didn't like the regime and whatever, that's fine.
08:21But when you just start doing the 28-3 thing, it's just time to log off because, A, you have
08:26no...
08:27You have no...
08:28You have nothing to say.
08:29If you go to the cliche 28-3, you're either not witty enough to hit people to come back
08:39with good comebacks, you know, or you're just lazy or both.
08:45I don't know.
08:45It's just...
08:46It's bad.
08:47It's bad.
08:47It's just, like, just log off.
08:49If you're...
08:49The only thing you have is 28-3?
08:51Like...
08:52Not only that.
08:53You just signed with the freaking Cardinals.
08:55Like, what are we doing here?
08:56You just signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
08:58Let's not act like you're going towards NFL royalty.
09:01Get out of here, man.
09:02Yeah.
09:03Or to be a starter.
09:05Dallas Goddard is staying with the Eagles on a one-year deal worth $7 million, including
09:10a $4.25 million signing bonus.
09:13The Eagles avoided a dead cap hit of more than $20 million by getting this done.
09:17Yeah.
09:17Dylan, your thoughts?
09:17I like Dallas Goddard.
09:20We will yield to the senator from Philadelphia.
09:23It ain't me.
09:24But look, all right?
09:25It's a good move.
09:25But as a Falcons fan that I am, who just so happens to date a hardcore Eagles fan, she
09:31was happy.
09:32She loves Dallas Goddard.
09:33Dallas Goddard's her dude.
09:34And I will say this, as a person who has watched a number of Philadelphia Eagles games
09:39during this certain era of Philadelphia Eagles football, Jalen Hurts does love him some Dallas
09:45Goddard.
09:46So I'm sure he's a happy man as well.
09:48Makes sense.
09:49Calvin Ridley is staying with the Titans on a restructured deal.
09:53It was prompted by a $2 million roster bonus due Saturday.
09:58I don't know what this guy is, man.
10:00I was really rooting for him.
10:02And the wheels kind of fell off at one point.
10:04You didn't know throughout the year whether or not he was going to be in the starting lineup
10:07or not.
10:07The injuries, everything else going on with him.
10:09I don't even know what Calvin Ridley is.
10:10Real quick, did y'all see, because I didn't really get this, did y'all see the tweets
10:15there was like, a 31-year-old isn't supposed to look like this, and they were showing pictures
10:18of Calvin Ridley?
10:19I was like, what's wrong with him?
10:22He doesn't, I mean, maybe he looks a little aged, but he didn't look not normal to me.
10:28I didn't see the pictures.
10:29Was he skinny?
10:30Was he fat?
10:30No, I mean, it seemed like a regular picture of Calvin Ridley.
10:33Nothing looked wrong to me.
10:34I mean, I don't, I've seen 31-year-olds look all different ways, so I'm not really sure
10:40what that means.
10:41It's not supposed to look like this.
10:42Yeah, 31, you can look like anything.
10:44You can look like 18 or 40 at 31.
10:46I mean, seriously.
10:47I know, I know, I mean, that seems just like, I think you're following the wrong people on
10:53social media.
10:54It's not very positive, Dylan.
10:56It might be.
10:58Hilarious.
10:59Yeah.
10:59I mean, I hope the best for him, man.
11:01I do.
11:01I like Cal.
11:02He's goofy.
11:03He was goofy when he was here.
11:05I think there was some maturity things.
11:07I don't know whatever happened with him when it went wrong here.
11:11It just, he's never regained that.
11:14And his first three years here were pretty freaking good.
11:17I think he had 10 touchdowns, like, the first two years, and then like eight, the second one,
11:23or nine, the third year.
11:24And, I mean, he had a good little stretch here, and then it just all fell apart.
11:29It just, whatever had to break in, and then the gambling thing, and just, he's just never
11:33recovered from that.
11:34He's never recovered from that.
