00:07it's that you lose it through countless small little acts of complicity.
00:12When we act complicit, when a government murders people on the streets of our major cities.
00:19When we don't say anything, when oligarchs take over the media
00:24and control how we can produce it and consume it.
00:27We all face a moral choice, but luckily, even a nobody is more powerful than you think.

00:49For four years, we look at the sky for our shooting stars to make a very important wish.
01:04But there are countries where instead of shooting stars,
01:08they have shooting bombs and shooting drones.
01:18In the name of our future, in the name of all of our children,

01:29This film was a huge roll of the dice.
01:31Even when the cut was finished, and it all looked good,
01:35and we thought we had a good film,
01:36we still had no guarantee that we could get it out into the world.
01:39Because we didn't know if we had a way of helping him leave Russia.
01:43We didn't know if he'd leave Russia.
01:44So this was a project where everybody had to take a huge leap of faith.
01:49And I'm still amazed that it worked out.
