00:00I promise you're not looking at marbled meat or even something from Stranger Things.
00:04What you're looking at for our image of today is a false color image of the Canadian landscape,
00:10and specifically an impact crater found near the Quebec region in Canada.
00:15Now, this impact crater was created by an asteroid about 200 million years ago,
00:19and the reason that it's a false color image is actually to show kind of the specific details of the
00:25crater.
00:25So everything in red that you see is actually thick vegetation, whereas the white is snow, the blue is waterways,
00:31and other things like that.
00:33This image was taken by the European Space Agency and the European Union's Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite,
00:39which is an Earth-scanning satellite, and you can read more about this image on our website,
00:43as well as other cool Earth-from-space images that we have throughout the year.
