00:00questo tipo di libertà, non lo ha perché è in charge di un po' di potenza e quando
00:08hai raggiunto questo livello di potenza, non puoi essere totalmente semmo, credo.
00:30Ma non è affatto sexy.
00:32I'm Federico Vascotto from Italy for Movie Player.
00:35Hi.
00:37After Mitch, after Paul, after Cory, there's some female leadership at UBN that wants to
00:43rise and shine what's left of the network and your character represents this as a new
00:47entry.
00:48How did you approach that aspect of the character?
00:52Celine Dumont is a very complex character.
00:55She has a lot to prove and she's also in charge of a very powerful media.
01:06And there are a lot of expectations on her shoulders.
01:11At the same time, I think she's fascinated by Alex.
01:19Because Alex is in search of the truth of authenticity.
01:28She's herself, even if sometimes she's manipulated things too.
01:34But at this point of the show, in the fourth season, she's someone who is someone you can trust, someone
01:44you, I mean, she's, yeah, she's, she's authentic.
01:51That's what I was, and genuine and authentic.
01:54I think that Celine Dumont would love that kind of freedom.
01:59She doesn't have it because she's in charge of a lot of power.
02:06And when you reach that, that level of power, you cannot be totally yourself, I guess.
02:13Because, I mean, it's my opinion, you have to manipulate.
02:17You have to deal with a lot of manipulative people, manipulated people.
02:26And, and so that's what I loved about her.
02:31This aspect and this connection that she has with Alex.
02:37And this, yeah, this fascination, I guess, she has for her.
02:42Celine is also very ambitious for her future in the company.
02:46Do you think ambition is a resource or more often it can backfire at you?
02:52Oh, that's very interesting.
02:53Because when I was a very young actress, I thought that ambition was something that was kind of negative.
03:05And I had a conversation with one friend one day.
03:11He was a new friend.
03:13I met him in India, in the middle of India.
03:16And he said, why ambition would be a negative thing?
03:19And I couldn't really find an answer.
03:23And the only answer that I could find was because it's selfish.
03:30And he said, why would it be selfish?
03:34Would it be part of, if you see it as like a construction and a need for yourself and not
03:41against anyone?
03:42And ambition is not like walking on the head of some other people to get where you want to, you
03:51know, where you want to be.
03:53It's just like you facing yourself and allowing yourself to live your full power and be able to get what
04:04you want and what you need and not against anyone.
04:07And I thought, oh, wow, this is so, this is so smart.
04:14And I started to see ambition as something that was only a good thing for me and not negative towards
04:22others.
04:23And it started to change my entire life and my entire approach to my desire to be an actress.
04:33And I was like, yeah, I can be ambitious for myself.
04:37Sometimes ambition, you know, on the other hand, if it's like against someone is can be very toxic and negative.
04:50You talked about before about Alex Levy and the seek of truth, no matter what.
04:56What tells about today entertainment, the morning show?
05:01I think what I love about the morning show is that it it asks very important and and deep questions
05:15and it's a very entertaining show.
05:19And inside it's so profound and I think we're in an era of like a point of balance and we
05:31can be unbalanced or we can find balance.
05:34And with the AI and world that we're entering, I think it's very important to question how are we going
05:45to use it?
05:46Who is going to use it?
05:48Because it can be super creative and it can be super destructive.
05:54As almost, you know, all the the amazing tools that we've had through our throughout the history of humanity, as
06:06writing as like, you know, a lot of things comes to my mind, but like plastic plastic is an amazing
06:14invention.
06:15But it's also a disaster. And I think, you know, when some something new and as powerful as AI will
06:28be is already, I think we really have to have like rules questioning and deep thinking about how we're going
06:39to use this.
06:40I think that the drama in the network are more succos than the drama in the network that finally gives
06:45us a idea to how we think of us.
06:46I need the data in the world that we're going to use it.
06:48I like what we have in our lives.
06:50I like the data in the chat room.
07:10Grazie a tutti
