00:02You managed Morgan Rodgers at Middlesbrough, you could well face him on Sunday, have you
00:07been surprised at all at the sheer speed with which he's become such a key Premier League
00:14and indeed international player?
00:17Yeah, first of all it's fantastic for me to see Morgan going on to do so well, and
00:24he's done it for a good period of time now, he had the initial signing in January and wasn't
00:31really sure how it was going to go, it was a step for him and hadn't really played for
00:38an awful long time at Middlesbrough really, so naturally he felt he could have done it
00:42a little bit more but as soon as he's gone to Aston Villa he's taken huge steps and quickly
00:48and been a major part of their team and part of the England team as well, so it just shows
00:53how well he's done, we could always see what he was possibly going to be capable of and
01:00the potential in terms of what he could do, his attributes, the way he carries the ball,
01:05play off his left foot, play off his right foot, create, score goals and really good athletically,
01:10so there was a lot of things there, positives obviously why we took them to start with but
01:15to see him go on and have such an impact would probably be more than I would have expected,
01:22probably more than Morgan himself would probably have expected, I think. It's great to see
01:27him, I enjoy seeing him do so well, obviously when we come against him it's a different story
01:33but nevertheless he's a good person, he's really great to work with so I'm delighted he's doing so well.
