00:00FRIENDSHIP!
00:01Hell yeah!
00:15Hiccup really loves to study dragons.
00:18I want to ask you in your opinion,
00:20what can we learn from dragons?
00:21Other than they're adorable,
00:23I would say, you know,
00:25at least to Hiccup and
00:27the Vikings themselves,
00:28I feel like it kind of teaches them
00:30a little bit more
00:33of some humanity.
00:35I mean, they fought for generations
00:37and just
00:39taking each other's lives
00:40and Hiccup meeting Toothless
00:43it kind of changes everything.
00:44Especially for Stoic
00:45and Astrid too.
00:49I feel like it really changes their opinion
00:51and I feel like it's a really cool message
00:53a part of this movie is that
00:54even
00:55you might be wrong
00:56and admitting that you might be wrong
00:58is pretty cool.
01:00And I feel like compassion and empathy
01:02is a really key
01:05through line through the movie
01:07and I think that
01:08if there was a message to take from dragons
01:11or from the film or from anything
01:12I think that to celebrate others' differences
01:15instead of chastise is always
01:17is a really really important thing
01:19and I think what's so brilliant
01:21about this movie is that
01:22the key characters are
01:25the most different
01:26and I think that
01:27and they are the most celebrated
01:29and I think that that's something really wonderful
01:30and for kids to see or adults
01:32or anyone who's feeling a bit out of place
01:34I think that that's a really wonderful thing
01:36to see reflected on screen.
01:38Since you've got to ride dragons in this movie
01:40how does it feel like to ride a dragon?
01:42I mean it's pretty cool.
01:43It's pretty cool.
01:44I think if you're a fan of the movies
01:46I mean at any age
01:48but specifically from childhood
01:51I do think there's something that is
01:53will never not be surreal about riding a dragon
01:56I know seeing the movie
01:57Or just seeing yourself ride a dragon
01:59Yeah, seeing me ride the dragon like the trailers
02:00and seeing the movie and stuff is insane
02:03and then
02:04it's insane now
02:05but the reality of it was just a bunch of hair dryers in my face
02:08Yeah
02:08My dad when he first saw the movie
02:11saw a really really rough cut
02:12super early on
02:14and so none of the CGI was really even in there
02:16and he was like
02:17it was interesting because
02:19it was so epic and cool
02:21but at the same time you would see
02:22an Irish man smoking in the background of some of the clips
02:25and I was like
02:27yeah but if you look past me
02:29you're in this world
02:31so I think it was
02:33you know
02:33seeing it I think is the more kind of mind-blowing
02:36because it also looks really real
02:37so it is kind of
02:38so it's like
02:39was I really doing that?
02:40So it's yeah
02:41And since Icapp is so good
02:43in making people change their mind
02:46do you believe that Icapp could have made
02:50Daenerys Targaryen see reason?
02:52Honestly?
02:53I mean I wish I can flesh out that answer more
02:55but I have not seen Game of Thrones
02:57but my dad is like the
02:59You haven't?
03:00Okay thank you
03:00I thought you were going to fry me for it
03:01I've seen some of it
03:02but I've never like
03:03My dad is the biggest Game of Thrones fan
03:06Cause our set was
03:06we filmed where they filmed Game of Thrones
03:08Yeah
03:09And your dad saw the
03:10Yeah and I got him the dragon glass knife
03:13or something
03:14whatever it's called
03:15I don't know I haven't watched it
03:16but I knew
03:17Yeah yeah yeah
03:18I got him that as a gift
03:19but yeah I mean
03:22all I know is that
03:23doesn't she burn a lot of people?
03:25And she's really
03:25Yeah
03:26Okay I would probably tell her not to do that
03:29and be kind
03:30Hell yeah you would
03:30and friendship
03:31Hell yeah
03:33Nice
03:34And love and unicorns
03:36Yeah
03:38And
03:40Gobbler really gives you
03:41your character a great advice
03:43which is
03:44stop trying to be something you are not
03:47I want to know if
03:48in your life too
03:49it's important to be always
03:51who you are
03:52even if you both are actors
03:53so you play other people
03:54but it's important to stay true
03:56to yourself
03:57No 100%
03:58and I think that message in this film
04:00is
04:01is
04:02is so important
04:02because
04:04you know
04:05maybe if you're
04:06like
04:07like Hiccup
04:08and you're not like everybody else
04:09and you really want to fit in
04:11and
04:11and
04:11if you like have this really cool passion
04:13and
04:14you know maybe
04:15you think somebody wouldn't find it cool
04:16and you hide it away
04:17like
04:18flaunt it
04:18if you think it's cool then do it
04:20you know
04:21I
04:21I think trying
04:22I think being different is better
04:25to be honest
04:26and you know Hiccup accepts that in this film
04:28and everybody else accepts him for it
04:29and
04:30I feel like you can really take that message
04:31into your own life
04:32and
04:33you know I have
04:34and I feel like a lot of other people have as well
04:35because
04:36yeah
04:37that message is
04:37very important to me
04:39I think it's also
04:40you know really
04:40there's something actually really
04:42especially I think
04:43you know just in general
04:44I think being like
04:45young
04:45and also there is an element of it
04:47of being you know young
04:48and kind of like in
04:49the spotlight
04:50to some degree
04:51I think it can kind of be
04:53just
04:53I
04:54I feel like for teenagers in general
04:56conforming
04:57can kind of feel like the easy thing to do
04:59because it is just you know
05:01to be
05:03one of in a sense
05:04and to be in a community
05:06that you just feel comfortable
05:07I think is something that people
05:08kind of really
05:09cling to a lot of the time
05:11and it can be really difficult
05:12also I think that as much as this movie
05:14really celebrates
05:15embracing
05:16your differences
05:17embracing your otherness
05:18I also think that it
05:19you know that's actually a really difficult thing to do
05:22and like you know I find that difficult in life
05:24I think kind of everyone does
05:26but I do think that if there's one thing
05:27that you can take away from this film
05:29it's just how
05:31brilliant things can be
05:32if you're able to
05:33I think if you're able to
05:34kind of look at yourself
05:35and
05:37with a bit more compassion
05:38and more empathy
05:39then you're kind of
05:40you know
05:41if you can celebrate you
05:42then other people can too
05:43I think it's the kind of most
05:45to me at least
05:46one of the more focal things
05:47that I took from the film
05:48thank you so much
05:49thank you you're amazing
05:50and the movie is beautiful
05:51thank you
05:52thank you
05:52bye
06:18thank you
