01:59I was working on work home home and I could figure out how I did my experience and then work
02:05home home.
02:06My parents were working with home at home and wanted to help with packages.
02:14So I wanted to make sure that I can keep my work home home.
02:16If I was talking about science stream or biology, I could use commerce, my advice.
02:27Chinese is a complex language and Chinese is the world's most spoken language
02:33Mandarin Chinese and this is a very benefit globally
02:37Chinese is a Korean language
02:45Korean is a Chinese adaptation
02:49Chinese is a real Chinese
02:52Chinese is not a general language
03:04Chinese people prefer more Chinese
03:14Chinese people prefer more Chinese
03:15Chinese people prefer they are a Chinese
03:16Chinese speak and it is a lot of different scopes like interpreter, translator, government
03:24load work, accountant and it is a lot of different scopes.
03:29So I would like to choose this.
03:32Actually we had started with Chinese course quite early in this language in this university.
03:41Earlier we were a part of the English and foreign languages department where we had English
03:49foreign languages as well as linguistics together.
03:52So right from that time we had been offering Chinese language as part-time courses exclusively
04:01for the students of Teshu University.
04:04Later on around 2009 we had a memorandum of understanding with the army.
04:13Since we have a large army base in Deshpur so we thought that it should be very good to collaborate
04:19with the army and the army were also interested because of their own requirements.
04:24So they started sending their candidates from 2009.
04:31Till 2014 we had trained quite a number of personals from the army.
04:39And then 2014 we had the ITBP showing interest in us and then we had another memorandum of understanding
04:51with the ITBP.
04:53So they also started sending it around say 19 to 20 students every year.
05:00And so we had, we also started, we also switched over from a part-time course to full-time certificate,
05:07one year course.
05:09And this was offered not only to the armed forces but also it was open to the civilians.
05:15And 2005 I remember we started with this course being offered to the civilians and the, our,
05:25we were quite fortunate enough that, you know, our, the first, from the first batch we have,
05:31we had a student who is now teaching in Sikkim University.
05:35He's a civilian and we have a lot and lot of students who were posted along the border.
05:44They were primarily sent here to be groomed up in communicating in Chinese with the Chinese PLAs
05:53to resolve any kind of disputes because this was an issue why they had frequent flag meetings along the border.
06:02And after that recently also we have received some feedback from the army that they have been doing very well.
06:10They have been communicating with the Chinese army and resolving disputes.
