BMW profits fall 11.5% to pandemic-era low after tariffs and China slump

BMW's operating profit fell 11.5% to €10.2 billion in 2025 — its lowest since the Covid pandemic — as tariffs and a China sales slump dragged the automotive segment's margin down to 5.3%.

00:01BMW's operating profit in 2025 fell to its lowest level since the Covid pandemic
00:07as the German automaker grappled with intensifying competition in China
