00:00Do you believe in abduction theories?
00:07My name is Marie D. Jones and I've been involved in paranormal research and unknown anomalies.
00:13I'm the author of several non-fiction books that deal with the paranormal and cutting-edge science theories.
00:19Everybody now knows what a classic abduction is.
00:22People are having experiences that are very similar to each other all over the world.
00:28I thought that The Fourth Kind handled the abduction scenario quite well.
00:34The film does truthfully portray actual abduction experiences.
00:39I have been researching and writing about this for several decades now.
00:43And there are definitely a lot of commonalities to what they're experiencing.
00:47There's an owl at my window.
00:49A white owl just looking at me.
00:52I've seen it a lot.
00:53Every night this week.
00:54A lot of times with abductions, there's a trigger object.
00:58In the movie, the owl is the trigger object.
01:02The owl is almost a way of them drawing these people in, calming them a little bit.
01:10And yet, of course, obviously once the abduction occurs, there's nothing calm or normal about it.
01:17Looking at the commonalities of experiences, many of them had markings on their body.
01:21There's a lot of drawings, writings that people did.
01:24We know from cave paintings that ancient civilizations were dealing with people from outer space.
01:31So the film does look at some of those commonalities.
01:34Wake up in the middle of the night almost every night.
01:37What time does this normally occur?
01:39Wow.
01:39Is there a hidden morning?
01:41Time prompts are number sequences that show up over and over again in someone's life.
01:46Generally, in the form of time.
01:48In the movie, one of the abductees wakes up at the very same time every night.
01:523.333 is one of the most common time prompts that I've encountered.
01:593.333 is sort of a trigger time for the abduction to occur.
02:04Mostly time prompts occur at night.
02:08But it goes even further than clocks.
02:11People start reporting time prompts on sales receipts, billboards, their computer,
02:16everything that you might see a number on.
02:19People are seeing repeated number sequences.
02:21But there also seem to be collective time prompts.
02:24And 11-11 is the most popular, the most widely reported.
02:28Millions of people seem to be seeing 11-11, and it's increasing.
02:32The foundation of the universe, the fundamental structure,
02:35is made up of mathematical ratios and principles.
02:38Everything can be boiled down to number and math.
02:42It makes sense that if there are alien civilizations out there,
02:45that would probably be the language that they would communicate with us with.
02:48The movie really emphasizes this ongoing battle
02:52between right brain and left brain, science and the supernatural.
02:57What'd you see?
02:57You were there!
02:58I can't explain it.
03:00This movie, at its core, is trying to get the dialogue open.
03:0525, 30 million people are experiencing the same thing.
03:08How do you brush that under the rug?
03:10Grazie a tutti
