00:05On The Maze Runner set, I've just been getting goosebumps, feeling surreal all morning.
00:09Wes wanted me to experience this place the way he discovered it.
00:13So this is inside the glade, inside the wall.
00:15We walked through this little trail and suddenly we came out of the woods into this place that instantly felt
00:19like the glade to me.
00:21When Thomas wakes up in the box, opens up and there's a blinding light at first and then looking up
00:27and then boom, we cut to this image.
00:29Out of here, he gets to take his really first good look at this world.
00:32We're actually going to shoot a griever attack thing in here.
00:43This is going to be cool. This is kind of the first trip out in The Maze.
00:46This is going to be a pretty fun sequence.
00:48We'll kind of pan it up to reveal above him is this shape between the walls until it starts to
00:53lower down.
00:54That'll be our hero reveal. He plucks down into the light.
00:56Eric, one of our animators there, he's like, you know, Academy Award winning guy on Life of Pi.
01:00It so captures the spirit and tone of the book.
01:02That's what a movie should do is add to the experience.
01:06It's eerie to see something that's been in my head for so many years come to life like this.
