00:08What we were looking for was someone new

00:12needed to be vulnerable and
00:13tough, sweet and terrified
00:15and to find someone that no one knew
00:18who could do all these things took a lot
00:20of looking. You always feel like you're gonna run
00:22out of time and you're like, oh, you know what?
00:24But our casting directors,
00:25Nina Gold, April Webster and Alyssa Weisberg
00:28just did an incredible amount
00:30of work.
00:34And we were very lucky to find
00:36some great people but the truth is it wasn't until
00:38we found Daisy that we just felt like
00:39she was capable of doing all
00:42of these things this character required.
00:43Where am I?
00:45Through my cast. When we brought her in
00:47I asked her to do this one scene, sort of this torture scene
00:50very sort of intense and she just blew
00:52my mind. She's reaching this depth
00:54of struggle and tears
00:56screaming down her face. I thought this is unbelievable
00:58and I asked her to stop
00:59gave her a couple adjustments do it again and she just
01:01she did it again and I thought oh my god.
01:03I guarantee he would have disappointed you.
