00:12Numeria?
00:16Numeria?
00:16La scena è ricordata a la prima volta di Numeria.
00:20Numeria è stata riuscita a riuscita,
00:57walks away,
00:58at first she's heartbroken
00:59to have come this close.
01:00Then she realizes
01:01that the wolf
01:02is doing exactly
01:03what she would do
01:04if she were that wolf.
01:07So many of these scenes
01:08where there's a lot
01:08of visual effects elements
01:09and all,
01:09but it all ultimately
01:10comes down to,
01:11can the actor pull it off
01:12in a close-up?
01:13And that's what Maisie does
01:14at the end of that scene.
01:17is a king.
01:18John's position
01:18as a king
01:19and as a leader,
01:20it's nothing he ever wanted.
01:21It's nothing he ever sought out.
01:23It's nothing he accepted
01:24reluctantly
01:24when it was thrust upon him.
01:27Lord Tyrion has invited me
01:28to Dragonstone
01:29to meet with Daenerys
01:31and I'm going to accept.
01:33He makes this decision
01:34and it's a much different
01:36leadership situation
01:37than he's been in before.
01:39I don't think
01:40it's an easy decision
01:41for him,
01:42but also he doesn't have
01:43that many good decisions left.
01:45It's the best of a series
01:46of horrible choices.
01:48We need this dragonglass,
01:50my lord.
01:50He has a very good sense
01:51of what they're facing,
01:52a better sense
01:53of what they're facing
01:54than anybody in this room
01:55because he's the only one
01:55in the room
01:56who's actually seen it.
01:57And you need to see it
01:58to believe it.
02:00He's taking a calculated risk
02:01and that's kind of who he is.
02:03He's always been willing
02:04to risk himself,
02:05his own health and life
02:06for the people
02:07that he's sworn to protect
02:08when he was in the Night's Watch
02:09and now that he's sworn
02:10to lead as King of the North.
02:14We should hit King's Landing now,
02:16hard,
02:17with everything we have.
02:18I don't think there are
02:18that many situations
02:20in film or television
02:21where you see
02:21four women
02:23sitting around a table
02:24discussing power
02:25and strategy
02:26and war.
02:27We didn't really plan it
02:29that way,
02:29but once it landed
02:31on that,
02:32we knew that these things
02:33had to be discussed.
02:34We knew the plan
02:34to take Casterly Rock
02:35had to be put out there.
02:38I think it's a scene
02:39that had it been
02:40the exact same information
02:42and situation
02:42being put forward
02:43by a bunch of old,
02:44grizzled guys
02:45with gray beards,
02:46it would have been
02:46a lot less interesting
02:48to have it be Amelia
02:49at one end of the table
02:50and Diana
02:51at the other end of the table.
02:52To me,
02:53that just is such a breath
02:54of fresh air
02:55and made writing it
02:56a lot more fun.
02:57At the end,
02:58after all has been said
02:59and done,
03:00then Olenna sits her down
03:01and tells her
03:01to ignore all of that.
03:03You're a dragon.
03:06Be a dragon.
03:07When Diana tells you
03:08to do that,
03:08you start to go outside
03:10the scene and wonder
03:11if that applies
03:11to every aspect of your life
03:13and not just the scene
03:13you happen to be shooting.
03:17you've seen Euron talking the talk
03:20and this is where we see
03:21that this guy
03:22isn't all talk,
03:23that this is somebody
03:24who can actually do the things
03:25that he's bragging about.
03:29I love the sequence
03:30and the whole sequence
03:31is paid off in full
03:33by the looks
03:34that those three give us.
03:36That was the most important part
03:38of the whole scene.
03:39So there's weeks
03:40and weeks
03:40to shoot this battle
03:41and all the visual effects
03:43and everything,
03:43but the most important part
03:44for us was just
03:45those close-ups at the end.
03:47We'd maybe fooled ourselves
03:49into thinking
03:49that Dion was out of the woods
03:51on his whole Reek experience
03:53and as we were writing it,
03:55we realized
03:55that you don't just get over
03:56what happened to him.
03:58That's something
03:58that's gonna be a part of him
03:59for the rest of his life
04:00and this is a place
04:01that triggers
04:02the worst
04:03of that experience.
04:04When Euron has his sister
04:06and Dion can try
04:07to rescue her,
04:08you know,
04:08against all the odds,
04:09he can't do it.
04:10Just the look on her face,
04:11the look of being betrayed
04:13and the look on his face,
04:14he's falling apart again.
04:16As much as anything
04:17to see Euron's
04:19pure psycho glee
04:20at watching this happen
04:22between the two of them
04:23and when Theon jumps overboard,
04:25that laugh
04:26is the character's
04:27encapsulation.
04:27is the character's
04:28encapsulation.
