00:05In a moment where Martha was busy preparing and serving, Mary chose to sit at the feet
00:11of Jesus. And Jesus affirmed her decision. He called it the one thing needed. What does
00:18that say about the value of God's Word in our daily lives? We often fill our time with
00:24good things, work, service, activity, but miss the most important thing, simply being with
00:30Jesus and hearing His Word. A hunger for God's Word isn't automatic, it's cultivated. It grows
00:37as we recognize our daily need for His truth, His wisdom, and His voice. Just as our physical
00:44bodies need nourishment, so do our souls. And the nourishment that comes from Scripture
00:49is what strengthens, transforms, and sustains us. If your appetite for the Bible has faded,
00:56don't feel discouraged. Ask the Holy Spirit to renew it in you. Start small, show up consistently,
01:04and let the Word take root.
